A man was held up at knifepoint in Fitzroy North last night, with the two alleged offenders making off with his car.
A police spokeswoman said the man received minor injuries, by what's believed to have been a switch blade, while being held up by a man and woman on Brookes Crescent in Fitzroy North.
The pair allegedly stole the victim's keys and fled in his Jeep, about 8.30pm last night.
Police patrolling the Collingwood area early this morning noticed the stolen Jeep and arrested the pair.
A 35-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both from South Yarra, are currently being interviewed by police.

What has Turnbull paid for Trump's Nauru deal?

Malcolm Turnbull seems to have given Donald Trump a blank cheque  for saving Turnbull's face and taking our boat people. The alleged deal, as reported by Simon Bensen: in exchange for Trump taking  1200 people on Nauru and Manus, Turnbull is expected to join in challenging China  or sending  soldiers to the Middle East.

A third of Middle Eastern migrants are  jobless in their first five years in Australia, and "experts" blame the racism of Australians.  So why are we importing people who cost us so much welfare? And then get angry? How is this healthy?

Why is Bolt declaring the first 5 years as being so significant one wonders. Is it because currently 72% of refugees in in Europe are women with children and it's figure mirrored here? Obviously Bolt has no concern or respect for the most needy but only himself and his pocket.

When does the penny drop refugees and migrants aren't just imports  but they are investments just as children aren't a burden they are investments. The doctors , nurses, our whole health care systems are filled with migrants taking care of resentful arseholes like Andrew Bolt.

They in fact do productive work that's of value to all Australians something that Bolt has never really done. He wasted our money when given an opportunity at Adelaide University  and failed at our expense not his. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

What is significant is she wasn't bashed raped or set on fire either. However her fear and in- trepidation, her sense of angst she was feeling seems to be drawn from the fact she wasn't being truthfull she wasn't being herself. In other words she wasn't a Trump supporter at all. However she wasn't admitting that either because it was an excercise for an article in the Australian with a foregone conclusion.
