Israel lobby trying to block Australian visa for poet Remi Kanazi

Kanazi said he plans to follow the instructions contained in the email in order to continue his application through an Australian consulate, and hopes to visit the country as planned.
Yet as Kanazi goes through the process he faces a campaign of defamation and pressure by anti-Palestinian activists smearing him as an anti-Semite and a supporter of “terrorism” – standard tactics of Israel and its lobby groups seeking to silence Palestinians and those who advocate for their rights.
Widely published, Kanazi has in fact used his poetry and political commentary for years to convey a strong anti-racist message and to express solidarity with peoples’ liberation struggles in Palestine, the United States and around the world.

Bolt's columns every Monday are just a repetition of the thread practised the week before and repeated over and over again like an ad attached to a carousel. There is nothing new here or inspiring other than what it is, Churnalism in its purest form.

There is no Black and White Racism; there is only systemic racism, and its historical context and roots stretch back well over 200 years. It arrived by boat on Australia's shores in 1788. The ABC is not throwing fuel on any form of systemic behaviour pattern other than the predictable spark of unrighteous and inglorious outrage of an ultra-racist named Andrew Bolt who would try without shame to convince us that he's a victim of Black racism.

The ABC provides a platform for all Australians and restricts none, unlike Bolt. Should Bolt wish to test the righteousness of his theory of race hatred and it's equivalence he could do it via our RDA laws which he only knows too well. However, he hasn't the guts to try that path has he?

Indigenous Australians, which Bolt claims he's one, have been righteously angry at people like Bolt since invasion day. Bolt would if he could steal their 60,000-year identity and history to make it meaningless. Indigenous Australians have never been able to systemically establish any patterns of behaviour that negatively impacts on the privileged white colonial race to which Bolt believes he belongs. Unfortunately, even poor whites and blacks alike have internalised the social psychology of privilege and in part have accepted it which entraps them. It's that entrapment Bolt doesn't want to be revealed. He'd rather that we live our day to day lives and continue on as April Fools. The ABC helps shine a light on that by giving Get Krack'in a platform to punch up.
