Why does Bolt describe Warren Mundine by his Past title rather than his present one? To appear to be more balanced than he really is? Warren Mundine is Tony Abbott's adviser on Aboriginal Affairs. Officially appointed by Tony Abbott as Chairman of the Australian Government's Indigenous Advisory Council. Bolt prefers to refer to him a title once held 4 years ago. Yet another distortion that is not quite the truth.

Bolt really does show he's farmer and merchant of doubt rolled into one. However if ever ISIS make an announcement he delivers it to us as gospel. In Abbott's words "whose side is he on?" Obviously not Australia's so why should anybody other than staunch Abbott supporters believe anything he has to say? He believes in Reclaim Australia with their racist and Nazi symbols and lauds the the UPF despite the fact they willing to throw bottles at those they disagree with. He says he believes in the individuals and their right of expression but he tribalizes and collectivizes everybody he disagrees with dividing this country into one sort of group Lefties, Socialists, Collectivists, Islamists, Unionists, etc or another tearing any notion of social cohesion apart. He's more in tune with ISIS, Al Qaeda and Boko Haram than he is with Australians. Labour has a history of doing things for this country unlike Bolt doing things against it. It does things Democratically unlike the Libs who are required to do it only one way Abbott's way or it's the highway.

The above defitition seems far more descriptive of Andrew Bolt, overriding self - concern and fear of truth. The reluctance to help others in a time of need. Particularly the failure of character in the face of challenge. A want not to push the boundaries but rather contain them is Bolt to a tee. Could you imagine if Bolt lost his station in News Corp he'd be the walking dead despite it being a pissant job in media. It's why he hates real journalists.
Well here lies a Bolt's lie Islam is open to debate and has for centuries it's one of the reasons there are so many Islams and not just one. The majority of Islam is Asian and practised in secular sovereign states and today has shown no immediate mass affiliation to the extremes shown in the Middle East. However West never really wants to debate or listen to the political economic and historic consequences of colonialism and as a result merely discuss Middle Eastern politics through the narrow lens of religion.
Nobody has suggested Islamophbia is a myth it's as real to Muslims as Catholic guilt is to Catholics. Rushdie a Muslim atheist gained widespread attention for his book The Satanic Verses but had it been an obscure piece of writing rather than the product of a past Booker Prize winner and not got the widespread attention of Capitalist marketing it would have gained little attention and no Fatwa. The West 52 years ago issued a Fatwa on Castro just because he was widely read and listened to in Cuba before and after the revolution. Allende received the same fate. Chairman Mao's Red book and Marx's manifesto would have seen you arrested during the McCarthy era Some people even died.
However the notion of Islamophobia has been swept up by the Politics of Fear and has become a useful tool as was 'red under beds' during the cold war. Members of the CPA might as well been the from Mars they were so heavily spied on and discredited by ASIO and the AFP. Politics coupled with media and technology no longer allows for the simplistic arguments of ones freedom of expression but rather the access and ownership of these resources as tools of propaganda and their use and purpose for social control or change. Hebdo may have been a satirical Magazine in the West but like Marx and Mao they weren't welcomed universally.
Rushdie is left behind pushing his personal barrow in stating the obvious. Of course the writing world is made up of varied opinion that is the freedom everyone desires. Rushdie never considered The Satanic Verses to be controversial when first published. It was his audience reaction that resulted overwhelming him with both love/hate celebrity/notoriety fame and infamy. In a world that helped create Islamophobia and ensured it's growth for political ends Charlie was a consequence. Charlie existed well before ISIS and violence didn't occur.

Bolt's blog banner yesterday was in line with LNP policy sprouted by Dutton that the ALP wont turn back boats and isn't bipartisan . What a weather cock. The LNP can ill afford to lose this point of argument. It has nothing to do with principle but rather only a means to an end.

Commodifying human tragedy is the blinkered perspective of this government alone in the world. Look at our relationship with Indonesia no beef and now no citrus fruit. However the LNP are happy to send us broke on their entitlements alone. They will kick a beggar on the street while passing, but they'll subsidize a coal miner with hat in hand coming in the door or give a Chinese Labourer a job.
When will we return to real politics for the country and not the disloyalty being shown today. Australia is certainly not a better place because of our current leadership.

The transparency was glaring when Baird and Abbott stood side by side the contrast in leadership appeal embarrassing. Abbott none and Baird brilliant but batting for the wrong side. You could hear the LNP moans "if only Abbott was like him" It's why News Corp have buried Abbott they just can't keep defending the indefensible. Thanks for asking the Question Bolt.
If Bolt thought Baird was too transparent Abbott was the opposite and never has been other than photo shoots in his budgies and on his bike. The mans past and history of plotting and bullying keeps him in the dark.

The person who has said nothing in this blog is Andrew Bolt. What he said nothing about was Waleed Aly and The Project. He's accused the anchor Aly wimping out of an interview with a Kim Vuga allowing the others to run the interview. Why is Bolt so rarely on the show? When he is he seems to feel as welcome as a fart on a crowded train because he'd love to be front and center as he is on his tightly scripted and controlled show which has a rating 6 times less than The Project. I'm sorry Bolt there's no comparison between The Project and the Bolt Report. It's like trying to compare the field of the Melbourne Cup with a stable of circus donkeys no mules.
There is never a clash possible
on the Bolt Report as it's the Puffing Billy of Sunday Media all behind
Noddy Bolt travelling down the one line. As for Kim Vuga she is what she is a racist cut from the same cloth as Bolt and other UPF and Reclaim members. However isn't it great to see Cold Chisel and Goanna those un-Australian heroes giving Bolt all the other racists in this country the finger.

You have to smirk at Bolt suggesting
Shorten "lurched" to the left particularly given Tony Abbott's Rocky

give the Labor Party advice telling them they need to be more like
Abbott. The ALP is "All symbolism, tribalism and eco-worship. All spend, no earn." I'm sure the Labor Party won't listen to a word Abbott has to say.
