Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews' grip on power has been weakened by
the shock resignation of department chief Chris Eccles. Eccles says
phone records show he was the mystery man who rang then chief police
commissioner Graham Ashton, but insists it still wasn't him who told
Ashton private security guards would be used in quarantine hotels.

Chris Eccles job description isn't that he's Dan Andrew's puppet. It's amazing how LNP MPs actually get caught out actively doing criminal things and let off the hook. Illegally dipping into their expense accounts, receiving undeclared gifts or what might be considered insider trading but they never get the same level of outrage as we see the ALP is given from our media. We see ALP members resign like Dastyari. They get the sack or are jailed like McDonald or Craig Thompson but never so the LNP. The difference in standards and accountability is palpable.
Bolt here is just a camp follower baying for blood to get attention and appear to be doing his job but he never really does it as loudly as he does when he feels he has the opportunity to besmirch the ALP.
Bolt says he is but he's not conservative or liberal because conservatives actually are in the business of democratic cooperation progress by bipartisan negotiation and compromise something Bolt is totally against. He's merely another camp follower devoid of any interest in the problem at ahnd.
THE LEUNIG CARTOON BANNED BY THE 'SAFE SPACE' AGE
Age cartoonist Michael Leunig is not happy with Victoria's
authoritarian Labor Government. So he drew a cartoon. The Age refused to
publish it because its readers would be "unhappy", and The Age is
apparently not in the business now of upsetting its Leftist readers with
inconvenient truths. So what else won't it print? But here's the
cartoon.
Note Andrew Bolt's, own once, boss James Murdoch quit the family board and business on ethical moral and ideological grounds. His claim he was sick of the misinformation business News Corp was in and the influence business model had on it's editorial staff. James declared it a corrupt news organization and merely in the business of cash for influence once outlawed in the music industry as "payola". Simply put they don't print news. They are a failing tabloid harvesting subs to sell on to advertisers and being thoroughly outwitted by the digital giants who use data and algorithms to better effect. Bolt it seems will soon be history.
What we seem to have here is Andrew Bolt accusing The Age of "not " printing what Bolt wants them to yet he certainly acts like an over active but enthusiastic subscriber. He does much the same with the ABC yet he doesn't even mention that or even why. He certainly doesn't run across them by accident nor do they seem to have improved what he does in anyway. James Murdoch his ex- boss fled the coup pissed at the family business to which Bolt has been tied for over 30 years.
Bolt's a regular bleating about why these others aren't like him. Well for one the they are more trusted. Is it because they are wiser and do have things to write about? Mind you The Age is on a downward path. They rarely however spend the time looking at Andrew Bolt as he does them.
ABC FISH ROTS FROM ITS HEAD
The ABC is meant by law to be impartial. What hope of that
when even the deputy chair is publicly and hopelessly biased?: “'Here
comes the super spreader,' Ferguson tweeted, as she shared a post [on
Donald Trump] from one of the leading anti-Trump protagonists of the
White House press corps... 'Immoral, criminal and selfish.'”
The ABC is in the business of reporting the news and if the news isn't what Bolt likes then he needn't read it. He seems to spend his energy, time, reading, watching, and listening to the ABC. I'm reporting that and it's fact because there is evidence to prove it. It's unbiased fact from which a conclusion can be drawn that Andrew Bolt is overpaid and under worked and fully aware of that because his life in the media has largely been in the lap of Murdoch media which is not a news organization he needs to see what is. In doing so he seems to have to try to drag others to his level so as not to get noticed for he lacks. According to James Murdoch's departed son it's bullshit so left to do more interesting things. Bolt's never had the balls.
CORONAVOIRUS: VICTORIA BLOWS TARGET FOR END OF LOCKDOWN
Another 15 news infections in Victoria today. That makes it
impossible to meet the Andrews Government's arbitrary target for ending
Melbourne's lockdown by October 19 - an average of five cases a day
over the fortnight. The most important number is actually deaths - and
that is down to zero. So drop the target.
Repeating what he said yesterday Bolt shows he doesn't even know what day it is. Just how lost for work he is. He certainly isn't lost in it. He hasn't a clue what an arbitrary target even is or the target 5 relates to the logic of probabilities. If the Covid rate of a daily14 day average were 5 and Bolt had it he wouldn't in all probability pass it on to anybody because the liklihood of that chance would be less than ONE. Now let's do an Andrew Bolt for a moment and mention what he doesn't write about.
Amsterdam or the Netheralnds the rolling 14-day average has shot up to 435 compared to our current rate of 10. It did that because the Dutch had the lax attitude Bolt wants us to adopt. Red States in the USA are experiencing even worse figures than the Dutch. All a now crying and turning to doing what Dan Andrews has done stricter lockdowns because they are seen as the most effective way of controlling the virus spread. But Bolt is still that lone voice from the bleachers yelling "Open Up"
ABC HIDES THE PELL NEWS THAT DOESN'T FIT
Chris Mitchell notes the ABC's near-total failure to report
claims that Cardinal Angelo Becciu sent money to frame George Pell:
"[ABC Pell hater Louise] Milligan tweeted: 'There are some mental
conspiracy theories... Journalists are being used by the cynical and the
powerful.' Let’s hope Milligan... has not been one of them." Read on.
Did I mention all Bolt does is repeat himself? Here is what he posted before posted again and guess it's about what the ABC didn't write this time. Monday just rolls into Tuesday as if it were another day but it seems it isn't it's still Monday
