Is Bolt hitting on Mclaughlin? Does he believe she needs  any help from him as some cheer squad leader? She has been trained and would be better qualified than Bolt at her on screen job  than he is  in hosting his Report. Does Bolt praise male reporters for the looks and professional  excellence? No not at all. Simply look at his track record and disparagement of the ABC women. So he is simply trying to get her attention. He's just a white male a  knight in his own mind hitting on her. The man's married with kids but we know where his heads at. Chris Gayle's interview fail. 

Or is Bolt's doing it because Gayle is black?

The only media message Bolt is putting out is that of  a  bogan's. They don't like black's foreigners or Muslims hitting on their good Aussie girls.  Mel is ok and needs praising because she didn't say yes  on national TV to a black foreigner. If an Australian said what Gayle said on TV in Jamacia he'd be celebrated as much as Shane Warne.

Bolt's gets worse however because his heroes like Peter Dutton MP and Tony Abbott can say whatever they want to females  Bolt  will stay stum or cover for them. Corporate media is not about news or reality it's more about distraction and deflection from real events like Briggs and Dutton's that shame the side.  Why has Dutton been slip the net again he's a serial offender? Because Bolt will always be there to find a black guy, a Muslim or something to take the focus away from the team. It's the Conservative way and only on rare occasions is anybody fined.
