So it's what Israel preferred and the US has gone along with. Erdogan is a bulwark against Assad and Russia. It's why a blind eye has been turned to their assistance of terrorists in Syria also because they are keeping the Kurds busy. Bolt's problem is reducing everything to religion has him sounding like Pauline Hanson declaring Islam a political ideology and not a religion. Hanson at least has the nous to realize that politics are involved and if politics of the middle east are examined closely one sees religion has very little to do with the Sunni's defending themselves in Iraq  from the brutality of the Shiia militia and yes their fight extends to Sunnis in Syria as well who want independence from the brutality of Assad. The Kurds also have substantial power in the region but are a threat to Turkey. Israel has reason to be involved and American business in military hardware is booming. It's not a coincidence that everyone is well serviced with arms made in America. 

When this is going on everyone is in the business of stealing land and territory no one more than the the Israelis.

Debate what debate Bolt about bullying? Lets start off with the question of prejudice and power . Why was Abbott so prejudiced against Pauline Hanson so much of a bovver boy that he could conspire and ensure she was jailed. It's never been suitable debating material for you has it and if there was an adjudicator you'd be the first to cry foul. Do you for one moment think politics is just debating and when the debate is over everyone goes home. Is that why Corporations are funding "fair " debate. Of course they aren't they are funding policies not based on debate but interest.  People without institutional power have little to offer in a debate. People with prejudice but no ability to use it only have fear in the hope of being heard. That's not bullying. They are rarely given the opportunity to share and set the terms of reference for a debate "This kind of bullying will make many organisations too scared to host such debates:"Bolt What a stupid statement organizations that want equality in a debate but find none won't bother to be manipulated and turn a faux forum into propaganda as does the Bolt Report. It's a reason it will only achieve ratings off a small base, which will always be Bolt's favorite marketing expression.  Of course this blog is straight from the horses mouth News Corp not frightened to debate anyone on their terms.  It doesn't always work does it like when James Matheson ran rings around Bolt his producers had to close him down. Leaving Bolt to say we will see James again... Ho Ho.... never again.

Bromberg was right fro a professional Bolt's English is not just atrocious but lazy. Last week Bolt was in praise of the international  PCA's denial of  China's claim to the islands in the South China Sea. Prior to that he was in praise of Brexit and its' escape from EU authority and taxes. Today he's back and against outside interference of the UN and he's siding with Chinese principles. The man's all over the shop no principles only sides. It's compounded by seeming right to review Kevin Rudd's CV but if others try to do the same with Abbott's that's a foul. Yes the man is an embarassment.

 

 

 

Did Turnbull buy this election with $2 million of his own cash?

 
$1 Mill has fast become $2 mill don't let facts get in the way of good carping and white-anting. This speculation could be $10 million by the end of the week with Tony Abbott the white knight having been brought down by Mr Mansions. The Liberal Party is a broad church but too broard for some and Abbott is. their leader. Time is of the essence for the members of the IPA whose only church is the bottom line. Murdoch for one isn't getting any younger and Gina is no longer the worlds richest women. Speed is of the essence to have the tail lead the dog not just wave it.

 

 

 

Does Turnbull really want to repeat his mistakes?

What goes unsaid is the prior history of the Liberal Party's term in government after the Labor party lost the election in 2013. An election lost was never an election won by Abbott who merely orchestrated a coup within the Liberal Party itself. The disappointment of the electorate only follows the disappointment of the Liberal Party's message to Tony Abbott to change which was handed down 6 months prior to Malcolm Turnbull being elected leader. Turnbull is far from accountable for the damage done by Abbott. He was left carrying the can and in doing so he won despite the John Stone's revenge strategy to bring Liberal seats down. Despite the News Corp carping and white-anting together with the Catallaxy Files, 2GB The Specator, Quadrant etc. All strategies by a Liberal minority too gutless to form their own party but corporately financed by members of the IPA who simply want to own a government in their own right. They won't stop promoting the party within the party because it's simply part and parcel of their business model of government. The notion of a broad church party is counter to their notion of a corporate one. It's known as Fascism.
