There is no attempt to create One Nation but a singular effort to divide a diverse and successful one. Settler nations like the USA NZ, Canada, certainly don't have the negativity that Hanson spells out. She has taken advantage of the electorate's dissatisfaction with the major parties. Given 20 years have passed her Asian threat hasn't in fact happened and I doubt that she believes 20 years from now that the Muslim threat will have occurred either. You hear that when she says to immigrants if you don't want to join us leave but without an invitation in the first place. However in the same breathe Muslims are left with saying if you don't let us join you how can we begin to form One Nation. Canada accepts it's Multicultural and Multiracial character as does NZ and the USA. Why on earth has Hanson moved us backwards to seem like Sth Africa of the 60s and 70s quite the opposite of how we in fact see ourselves. Neither Bolt or Hanson accept that Asians today increasingly have Aussie accents nor do they seem to accept if you enter a Mosque you will also hear the distinct Australian sounds. It seems Hanson and Bolt's opinions really are made from an aloofness not normal to how we would prefer to be seen, welcoming.
