MEMO TO VIC POLICE: DON'T CONVICT PELL
Gerard Henderson says Victoria's chief
commissioner of police is too careless in his language about Cardinal
George Pell. The people making allegations about him are not "victims"
but "complainants".
Is that all Bolt and Co can come up with no longer PR crusaders for Pell but defenders of the English language. Women raped children abused are not victims in any substantive way only complainants? Furthermore Pell is the only victim here a victim of poor police English. The police are compelled to investigate cases where complaints are made by people claiming to be victims. It's not up to the police to say they are not it's up to them to investigate the victim statement.
As I've always said when backed into a corner Bolt redefines the English leaving any conversation meaningless because you can't stand and argue with a fool and in this case there's two of them.
CHINA KILLS U.S. SPIES. BUT ON OBAMA'S WATCH, SO NO DRAMA
US intelligence sources leaked instantly
against Donald Trump, claiming he may have let slip a secret. But it
took seven years for us to hear of a real security breach: "The Chinese
government 'systematically dismantled' CIA spying operations in China
starting in late 2010 and killed or imprisoned at least a dozen CIA
sources..."
Bolt is a PR merchant who distorts the meaning of words
So Bolt's argument runs like this if mistakes were made in the past 10 years ago like say the AFP 's involvement in the hangings in Indonesia and it's repeated today that's ok why get upset about it. That 10 year old leak under Labor justifies repeating the same today by the Libs and any complaints heard aren't worth listening two because they are merely applying a double standard.
This is Bolt's excuse and cry of foul double standards and why Trump's intelligence blunder today should be excused. Once past errors are made a precedent has been set providing legitimate grounds for repitition.
The Obama Administration's public offer to share information in plain sight with Russia wasn't blunder it was diplomacy in action. Trump however didn't abide by any of the protocols that Obama adhered to and here we have Bolt redefining the meaning of the terms protocol and diplomacy to simply include blunder in order to come up with his lame defense of President Trump. It's not a defense it's a word game reducing the blog to meaninglessness by an unproductive commentator who for Christsakes gets paid.
