What a deflection of historical fact. Labour did not do anythin other than be confronted by Mr, Nope Tony Abbott who demanded the NBN to be of MXT format. Basically he called it little more than a home entertainment device secondary to Australia's need for a first class communication system. Yes Abbott took us to the giddy heights of being behind some 50 other nations when it came to communication. Sending commercial documents has been proved faster by car even when a business pays $24,000 to access the fastest available speed. So much for the putting us in the box seat commercially Mr. Abbott.
What we have hear is a further failure to communicate and Andrew Bolt doing his best to blame Abbott's folly on Labor.
ERIC ABETZ ON THE AWU RAIDS: FORGET THE CONSPIRACY THEORY
Senator Eric Abetz, who pushed for the laws that led to today's raids on the AWU, denies Labor claims that this is a government witchhunt. From The Bolt Report.
NO, YOU DON'T NEED TO DIE IN PAIN. AND DON'T NEED EUTHANASIA
Former AMA Victoria president Dr Stephen Parnis says we can 'improve the system' so no Victorian need fear a painful death - the fear behind so much support for euthanasia. From The Bolt Report.
Well if the issue is as simple as Parnis makes out why hasn't it been done before. Is the fear of a painful death something new? Euthanasia is being practised today both volutarily and involuntarily. Bolt prefers to deny it's existense. It will continue the crime it seems is not the act but the shining of light on it and acknowledging what is happening already and legalizing it so that those that don't have the access to assisted death can get the help they otherise need. Bolt demands freedom of speech but limits all other freedoms particularly death. He supported Trump's sweet whispers to the widow of the soldier that died in the Niger "he knew what he's signed up for" basically saying he volunteered to die. Had he asked to die without a uniform on it's something else. Bolt calls the Barcelona terrorists brave young men, prepared to have an assisted guaranteed death for the their beliefs and Christians cowards but doesn't allow the same for those wishing to end their pain and suffering. There is an enormous amount of hypocrisy when it comes to death.

Andrew Bolt's a delight isn't he what would he do if if a jihadist wished to be Euthanized? He certainly believes they should be involuntarily killed. He also believes they tend to be braver than most Christians and seems to admire them for that. In fact he's been known to publicly state that only last month in reference to Barcelona. He is proud of his violent attempt at a one punch effort of GBH on two glitter thrower which risked a manslaughter charge. Now how are we to accept that Bolt's an exemplar Australian citizen?
LOCALS TURN AGAINST TURNBULL 10 TIMES MORE THAN ABBOTT
A new Reachtel poll shows Malcolm Turnbull and Tony Abbott with similar support in their seats, after preferences: Turnbull 57% in Wentworth and Abbott 60% in Warringah. But there is huge difference in the swing against them since the election: Turnbull is down 10.8% but Abbott 1.1%. The media monsters Abbott, but voters are rejecting Turnbull.
No mention by Bolt of the fact that Reachtel survey also showed a majority support for a 50% reduction of carbon emissions by 2030. If that were the case the electorate can't be such staunch Abbott supporters as Bolt is trying to make out.
ReachTel poll finds majority in three Liberal-held seats support carbon pricing, and more ambitious renewable policy.
What policies of Tony Abbott then attract the devotion Bolt suggests exists? Climate, Marriage Equality, a History of superb economic management, Asylum Seekers etc etc ?? Reachtel Below is the link to Reachtel survey read it and weep Bolt don't just read it and bullshit
Turnbull, Frydenberg and Abbott's electorates back 50% renewables target
BEFORE WE ALLOW EUTHANASIA, LOOK WHO THE DUTCH HAVE KILLED
Have Victoria's politicians, half way to legalising euthanasia, looked at what's happened in Holland? Here are some very troubling cases - plus interviews with the brother of an alcoholic who had himself killed, and a woman with tinnitus who also had herself killed just three weeks later. My editorial from The Bolt Report.
American states and 5 countries including Switerland which has had Euthanasia Laws for two decade would stronlgly disagree with Andrew Bolt as would the Dutch government who seems to have no right of reply . Cofirmation cases aren't statistics they are simply biased cases that prove little more than some people don't agree which is the case in any Democracy. Bolt's examples failsEuthanasia to prove that the State is killing citizens. Bolt fails to prove voluntary assisted dying is in anyway connected to involuntary Euthanasia or even that there is any case that the above mention states and countries have in any way normalized the act of assisted death as an every day occurence. Normalizing death it could be a benefit obviously in the elimination of severe pain and suffering. Single cases Bolt turns don't establish any "trend" but remain isolated cases hardly impirical evidence for any "slippery slope " argument.
"The quality of life can fall to dismal levels. Not everyone agrees about just how bad life must be before it ceases to be worth living. However, the fact of that disagreement provides no more reason for prohibiting euthanasia than it does for requiring it. To force people to die when they think that their lives are still worth living would be an undue interference with people’s freedom. It is no less a violation of human freedom to force a continuation of life when people believe that their continued life is worse than death.
Opponents of a legal right to die are fond of saying that freedom has its limits. However, just because freedom has its limits does not mean that a right to die falls beyond those limits. When a person deems that life is no longer worth living, then taking action to prevent that person from gaining assistance to die imposes a very serious harm. Although society may restrict a person’s freedom to prevent the infliction of harm on others, it is very difficult to justify restricting a person’s freedom when that restriction will result in an immense personal harm."

The banner to suck you into a subscription. Is little more than fearmongering exercise. What's strange is the RechTelsurvey showed this week Liberals in the wealthiest seats such as Abbott's aren't paying any notice to Bolt's or News Corp's fearmongering.
