Fighting Fake News with REAL; 29/11/20 An after Trump coversation; Why didn't Morrison "we are independant" lift afinger for Assange?

The great communicator keeps declaring his rank

Donald Trump lashed out during a Thanksgiving press conference at a reporter who pushed back against his false claims of election fraud, calling the journalist a “lightweight” and telling him, “I’m the president of the United States.”

Let’s move on.

Maybe the best we can hope for is a gradual transition. Baby steps: Go ahead and talk about D.T.’s pathetic, desperate acts in these last weeks of his cancelled reality show. (He’s going to lose and lose and lose until he’s tired of losing, and then he’s going to lose some more.)

What ever will we talk about after Donald Trump?

just before the extradition hearing of June 2020, over 100 Australian politicians, lawyers, activists and journalists wrote to Foreign Minister Marise Payne asking her to request the UK government to have Assange released on bail, because of his serious and ongoing health issues.

Why do I need to follow Assange’s mother on Twitter to hear about these crucial debates? Why aren’t the major television news shows more willing to engage with a topic – protecting freedom of speech – that should be top priority for the Australian public, especially in light of the recent AFP raids against ABC and News Corp journalists?

Why Australia didn't lift a finger for Julian Assange

Caught up in their own bullshit': The cost of Sweden's controversial coronavirus strategy

Sweden's idea of not following conventional coronavirus measures led to a death rate triple that of its neighbours, and even though a vaccine could be close, the country may need the kind of measures it tried to avoid throughout

PENBERTHY CONFESSES: USED BY THE HYPOCRITE KEVIN RUDD

Brilliant piece by David Penberthy, even if he confesses to having helped an unworthy man now biting the hand of the Murdoch media which foolishly fed him: "The truth is that Rudd enjoyed one of the greatest armchair rides Australian politics has ever seen. I know. I was holding one of the armchairs."

The only armchair ride I've seen dealt out by  Murdoch Media is Andrew Bolt's. Murdoch made him and he's yet to repay them with anything that resembles a profit. Lawyers fees and legal settlements aside the News Corp vehicles Bolt works on are all bleeding money and subscription losses. Bolt isn't holding an armchair he's sitting in it. His blog has been redesigned in an effort to polish the turd.

2GB dumped him and he thought he was bigger than them and he'd simply start his own podcast The Andrew Bolt Podcast. What's hilarious it's advertised here on his blog. It lasted 5 weeks embarrassed his son Dom and hasn't been heard since. Prior to it's launch on the 3/3/18 2 GB had dumped Bolt. Tossed out of his armchair ride with Steve Price they haven't seen downturn in their decision but a saving instead. Bolt however never got his lead balloon off the ground. So to say he was holding an armchair for Rudd is  a Walter Mitty-ism on Bolt's part. A little like the one when he tried to tell Miranda Devine that she wasn't the top billing on "his " show when Steve Price was away.

UPDATE

Note Sweden Bolt's exceptional handler of COVID -19 far far better better than Victoria isn't doing so well. Even louder is Bolt's silence on "That's the way to do it Dan" commentaries.
