Who now will pay for the legal costs of the first judgement and now the appeal. It shouldn't be the taxpayer because Dutton initiated the case privately and not in his capacity as a Cabinet Minister.

appeal court has overturned a decision awarding Defence Minister Peter
Dutton $35,000 in damages over an allegedly defamatory tweet.
Before the defamation trial, White had urged the parties to try to settle the case out of court.
Bazzi deleted the tweet, which the court heard was viewed by fewer than 1221 people, after Dutton’s lawyers wrote to him, and White said readers “would not have understood it to be the measured assessment of a serious political commentator”.
Dutton chose not to take that advice and to proceed. He also urged that Polticians shouldn't bear the costs of defending themselves or when suing others despite the privileged position they held when speaking in parliament. Totally unsurprising that coming from the likes of Peter Dutton

The major difference is clear Morrison is offering no support use your own money and the banks. It’s all private money your money that’s needed and placed at risk of the fluctuating marke. All for the benefit of those with incomes up to $200,000 effectively cutting out those with the least income and Super.
Labor is offering a publicly funded scheme and assistance to the lowest income earners with qualifications. A far less inflationary scheme than the LNP’s pork barrelling one.
Which scheme has true intent of helping it’s certainly not the LNP’ s and all Barnaby Joyce can do is play pitbull and bark so the differences remain unspoken about? When your not offering anything bag bark and distract.
