The bromance is over: Why did Cory Bernardi turn on Tony Abbott

It was reportedly a conversation with Tony Abbott that conviced Cory Bernardi he needed to start his own party.
There was a time they bonded over the Queen, their distaste for the burka, and love for Margaret Thatcher. But the bromance is over. Why? Because it's what Abbott does it's simply self interested political cunning. Did Abbott play Bernardi? Well Bernardi came to the conclusion he did and that Abbott wasn't to be trusted. History rubber stamped that.

My discussion with Miranda Devine

It's interesting isn't it. Sydney Radio Show  "Nights with Steve Price" became instantly "My Show while  "my" co-host Steve is away" Andrew Bolt was placing himself  up front and center of the unnamed " Nights with Andrew Bolt Show" The very night Steve was gone. When it was pointed out the egoist's self-promotion had ripped Price off  in his self centered blog ads  of the show of it it went back to being Steve's. Shame Bolt Shame is what needs to be said.
The Show has since been offered to Miranda Devine a Sydney regular presenter standing in for Steve for the 5 weeks while he's away with the regular format of Bolt as the guest which really rubs Bolt the wrong way. Miranda pointed it out and Andrew did a 360 dummy spit.
Bolt for some time last year has a lot of time for Miranda  Divine so much that the sexual tension seemed obvious not between them but on Andrew's part until Miranda became St Joan and burnt for her support it seemed for Malcolm Turnbull. She was dropped from the Bolt Report and Bolt rarely mentioned her in passing.  She stopped being the regular as she once was on the Bolt Report. Bolt had  almost stopped acknowledging her existense apart from some occasional pining references to the Divine Miranda.
What's clear is Devine has been acknowledged as the Price stand in while he's away. Bolt has taken umbrage at that because he wants center stage in everything. However what is more to the point Bolt can't handle free flowing shows he needs structure and can only operate between strict parallel lines. He needs formality otherwise he steps back lost.  He did it on the ABC when he was challenged by James Bolger and again with a lawyer. The Bolt Report is so formal it's anal and if anyone is too smart for him he quickly moves them on. James Matheson was  a case in point.
Miranda was right the show is hers not Bolt's what was meant to be a discussion was  Bolt wanting to run the show according to his rules. So the result we saw a mess Andrew Bolt the  control freak dictating to Devine how his show was to be formatted. It's why we never saw him on election night and why his show is The Andrew Bolt Show or the predictable Bolt Report  is ZZZZZZZZ
Bolt won't let go of the fact that it's really his show can he can he.
The truth however is on the billboard Andrew
:On 2GB, 3AW and 4BC with Miranda Devine standing in for Steve Price from 8pm. Not "Andrew Bolt Standing in for Steve" stop fucking Miranda's show up!!!!

Out-Trumping Trump with insults helps no one

Smearing Trump is a bad call for Britain, although it gets a show-pony the cheap cheers of the Left: "The British parliament's Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow has made a passionate statement arguing why US President Donald Trump should not address MPs from Westminister Hall, citing the parliament's opposition to "racism and sexism"..."

Andrew Bolt Australia's leading smearer never washes his hands of Malcolm Turnbull our Australian  PM. He is also the most prolific smearer of the Australian people, academics, police, media and teachers who in the main he declares  to be card carrying commie "lefties" is telling Britain to leave the Donald alone. Don't smear the Donald cries Bolt who until a short time ago was an avid smearer of the Donald himself until Rupert Murdoch his boss made it perfectly clear that smearing the Donald was no longer appropriate for News Corp's business model. Andrew  one can be assured  Murdoch's British media  needs no help from the Bolt Down Under.
Andrew Bolt  has  always been one for trying to impress by hogging a center stage  since the days when he tried to tell  the world he was a "minder for a belly dancer". When that Walter Mitty fantasy crashed and burned around his head he took up other causes that might throw the International Spotlight on him such as recently defending he who would be Pope our Boy George. Unfortunately public data has come to light only this week tarnishing Pell yet again and reviving rumours of a further in depth investigation by the once  Catholic Victorian Police Force. Yes Andrew no doubt there will continue to be smearing all round down here for some time to come. Center stage won't be an easy place to get to. Cory is smearing Tony Dutton is smearing Cory and your reading the Illawarra Mercury for your blog posts

France's Trump rises

France may elect its own Donald Trump. Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Front, leads in the polls and  says she'd slash  migration and expel all illegal migrants. Another story today explains why her message resonates:  Hundreds of young Muslim asylum-seekers are missing  in Britain amid fears they have been radicalised.

False News by Bolt spreading false rumors.  When the last round to elect the President comes polls show Le Penn has an ice blocks chance in hell of winning. Andrew Bolt has successfully posted a blog so far from the predictable truth as to explain why he's so readily shunned by even fellow journalists working at News Corp. Yes Le Pennis doing a Trump however France might be red white and blue but it's not America and has never been the UK. Follow the money Bolt follow the money $97 billion Euros say your wrong.Groupama Sees 'Zero' Chance of Le Pen Win, Buys French Stocks ... "

Not a word of Bernardi declaration that he was "pushed " by the Party '"leaker" the one and only Tony the Phoney Abbott. Abbott took a  very private conversation between the two men and gave it to The Australian. When asked  Loyal Liberal " who me?" Abbott has denied it. Are we expected to believe Cory Bernardi leaked it? Or will Andrew Bolt try to grab center stage and say "i cannot tell a lie"? This is as boring as watching paint dry. Remember when the Liberals said they would be the stable party way back when 4-5 years ago well they are full of horse shit.

Crude, rude but probably true

Ross Cameron gets it rudely said on Paul Murray Live:

Bolt just pretending he's polite. Did you notice Ross Cameron had on a so much better fitting suit than Andrew Bolt. But even more so did you notice just how much more the panel sounded and acted more authentically Australian and off the cuff so less produced than the Bolt Report. But then the truth is is always between the lines on Bolt's Opperatic little show. Note the niggle in Bolt's post!

How did so many pedophiles become priests?

How did so many pedophiles infiltrate Australia's Catholic Church? "Over 35 years, 4444 people reported to superiors within the church that they’d been a victim of abuse." The one small reassurance is  the age of the complaints: "the average time between the alleged abuse occurring and the date a claim was made was 33 years."

It's taken 48 hours for George Pell's leading apologist Andrew Bolt to mention "the Report".
It's been admitted the worst period was the 60s and 70s yet the Report only raises the complaints since 1980. One thing Bolt assumes and is so wrong about is he suggests the church was an open door for pedophiles. He avoids the fact that pedophilia is a learned practice that many of these clergy weren't drawn to child molestation until they'd been in the church for sometime. No mention of just how the church was able to protect itself because of it's hierarchy and power in the wider community.
The apologistt's  hint is in Bolt's deflected question  away from  the church itself "One question, though: where were the police during all this?" History tells us the police was a predominantly Catholic Organization and being Catholic in the history of this country was like being part of a secret organization. Catholics protected themselves they were the Unions and the Public Service they weren't about to give the Orange the self satisfaction of the weapons that the Green could use.  What happened among Catholics stayed among Catholics besides there was always Confession. Bolt's question is the apologist's deflection that doesn't address the nub.
"The one small reassurance:
... the average time between the alleged abuse occurring and the date a claim was made was 33 years.
The age of the complaints suggests the church did finally learn and very belatedly reform."

What a load of twat it suggests the Church's grip on it's members and it's power was slipping. The Church wasn't just facing a reform it was trying to prevent a revolution and it was desperate. If it was a reform it would have begun back in the 50s and not have been ignored. The reform on process back then was to bury it and it grew more sophisticated in that respect. Bolt simply doesn't understand what it meant to be Catholic.

Headline Andrew Bolt reads the SMH and declares it to be the Truth. It has nothing at all to do with Tony Abbott the loyal Liberal melting the the Party from the inside. Remember when Anrew Bolt felt he was in the center of the universe?
