Fighting Fake News with Real,8/7/19; Trump's allies say he's INEPT; Murhochian's covering for Trump's really bad week; Roger Ailes a Real News Doco;

The presidency of Donald Trump, pictured alongside first lady Melania Trump. has been scathingly criticised by a senior British diplomat.

White House 'inept', says UK ambassador in trove of leaked memos

Donald Trump's White House is "uniquely dysfunctional" and "inept", according to a cache of scathing leaked memos from the UK's ambassador in Washington.
The documents detail Sir Kim Darroch's assessments of the Trump administration from 2017 to the present - and could prove highly embarrassing for Britain's Foreign Office.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: "The British public would expect our ambassadors to provide ministers with an honest, unvarnished assessment of the politics in their country.
"Their views are not necessarily the views of ministers or indeed the government.
"But we pay them to be candid. Just as the US ambassador here will send back his reading of Westminster politics and personalities.

Will Murdoch media rush to agree or leave it alone? (ODT)

Give Donald Trump the Nobel Peace Prize! Or is this yet another award hijacked by and for the Left? Andrew Bolt has been reduced to a copywriter for News Corp. Putting out headlines searching for subscriptions. Nothing really to see here.

Is Andrew Bolt trying to get Trump's attention and a job at Fox central USA? It's where the money is, and he's lost some recently. Is he showing what he can do or is doing for Trump down under? Is he trying to let the Don know he's the leader of the Donald Trump fan club Hannity Downunder and he too works for Rupert?

I guess his mental state is in step with Trump's. His view of the planet its history does represent an even smaller shrinking group than it did before 2013 and it has even become smaller since 2016 when Trump became the President. A President who believes if it weren't for General Washington's airforce the US would still be in British control. There is a problem. However, Bolt's opinion of Trump is on very public record when he regarded Trump the most ridiculous candidate for the Presidency and quite the reverse of what it is now he's saying. On the 12/10/16 it was more in line with what the UK ambassador thinks of Trump today.... totally INEPT. The Ambassador was referring to the whole Administration which Trump heads and is made up of ex-Fox News and executive staff and not in any single way professionals. Family, his most inexperienced advisers, running the administration as if they were all running the 7 companies Trump brought to bankruptcy. Lawyers the highest paid of Trump's admin guards. "So much for his judgement and his future as Ambassador: "Leaked diplomatic cables reveal that Britain’s ambassador to the United States regards Donald Trump’s administration as inept... 'We don’t really believe this administration is going to become substantially more normal; ... less diplomatically clumsy and inept,” Mr Darroch wrote."  This is precisely what ambassadors are meant to do when acting as advisors to their government

UK Ambassador: Trump ‘radiating insecurity,’ inventing ‘false statistics’ and Dreads Unpopularity of any War with Iran

Bolt believes if it weren't for Trump Alek Sigley would not have been released. His proof none. Who is Alek Sigley?  If he's now to become the most important Australian, no person, on the Planet and it seems he is according to Andrew Bolt trying to save Trump's image Downunder. He MUST get the Nobel prize? Even Trump doesn't seem to have heard of Alek until now. If he didn't exist, they'd have to have invented one. But then the Murdoch Corporation or Fox Corp have, and they are now Trump and America's foremost State Media, and Bolt is just a paid muppet doing his duty. Let's not forget what Roger Ailes said just before he was sacked for being caught and costing Murdoch some $163mill in settlements. It wasn't time for him to go because Fox/Ailes Media had still to chose the next President and they did even without him because the system was in place to do just that.

Former Fox correspondent: The "access" that Fox hosts have to Trump is "questionable, if not dangerous"

Trump has always had a"special" relationship with Ailes Fox and now Murdoch.

Roger Ailes in The Fox Studios, 2011.

Roger Ailes Movie: 'Divide and Conquer' Review – Rolling Stone

Andrew Bolt has in fact elevated Kim to the status of the most influential man on the planet who in fact is far far more deserving of the Peace Prize because he invited Trump to Nth Korea after the Don failed to impress at the G20 where we know Ivanka stole his thunder.

Distraction is the tool of PR merchants when it's so apparent their client has had a horrible week and need breathing space.  Bolt is the living example of how Roger Ailes changed the nature of News in the English speaking world and handed it to Murdoch on a platter. NZ an Canada are two English speaking Nations where Murdoch doesn't have a presence and nor will you find this form of media stupidity or leadership running their countries.

Roger Ailes Movie: ‘Divide and Conquer’ Review – Rolling Stone

After creating Fox News and after 20+ years Ailes was asked was he ready to go he said no not yet. "I still have to choose the next President", and he did even though he was gone. They are doing it in the UK and did it in Aus as well. However not in NZ or Canada where Murdoch doesn't exist or have a hold as yet. (ODT)

Alexis Bloom’s documentary explores the arrogance of power and the creation of Fox News  Divide and Conquer: The Story of Roger Ailes, a well-researched and richly observant documentary from Alexis Bloom about the climate of lies and systemic abuse that nurtured Ailes and allowed his behaviour to flourish.

Fox News, where Ailes could make stars of Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity — who could, in turn, further his political agenda — is a daunting subject that gives this documentary size and purpose. Sadly, Bloom stays mostly on the surface when she needs to plumb the depths of a network that helped Ailes define himself and create a new world of propaganda disguised as news. Talking heads, railing about how they’re mad as hell, was only a prophecy in the 1976 film Network. Ailes made it a reality. Divide and Conquer paints a scary portrait of the arrogance of power, of news as a tool for sale, of a family man who morphed at work into a raging bully, demanding sexual favours and unquestioned obedience as his divine right. And getting away with it. For Ailes, it was good to be the king. Until it wasn’t. In Divide and Conquer, a disturbing study of depravity in full toxic bloom, Bloom makes it clear that it did happen here and that we can’t let it happen again.

Problem is it's here, and it hasn't gone away, and Murdoch intends to make it stay and have the ABC gone. (ODT)
