How typical is this of Bolt telling us Joyce has broken the rules of being caught and "slut shaming" his lover. But isn't that what men do in a Patriarchy all Bolt is doing is blaming Joyce for shining a light on the norm. Abbott stood up acknowledged a son on the basis that he passed a DNA test which proved not to be a match. Wasn't that the public "shaming" of a woman just a different stroke?. We didn't hear Bolt making disparaging comments back then in her defence. It was a boy will be boys sort of thing let science be the adjudicator of Abbott's estate's line of inheritance. Now that was coming from 2 men that constantly declare science to be just another religion. But what was Abbott really doing back then other than protecting his property rights and the Patriarchal line of inheritance?
Joyce, on the other hand, has forgone DNA and made a public declaration of his estates "inheritance " distribution. Because unlike a matriarchal society, a patriarchal society you never know who your father is and women take a second-hand role in the intestate property unless cemented by a marriage certificate Joyce made a public declaration
Bolt holier than thou simply calls it an "embarrassment". It is not just Joyce's, but the normal reality which is the embarrassing inequality and position of women in a patriarchal society. Bolt generally complains about being the sole breadwinner that he has to take his family on holiday etc, etc the burden of men.
His Sexism, Chauvanism, Misogyny come to light when there's a breakdown and tries to be Galahad calling Joyce out for "publicly revealing what's normal". Who is Bolt defending here other than the secret rights of the male in our structural and cultural Patriarchy

Bolt has a heartfelt slag at Miranda Devine because he just can't let go of the public brain-snap he had when Steve Price was in the Jungle. Nights with Miranda Devine and guest Andrew Bolt set him off like a Catherine Wheel on Guy Fawkes Night. Bolt felt it should have been Nights with Andrew Bolt and at worst Nights with Andrew and Miranda. He shut up only when he realized he had no support and his tantrum revealed him to be what he is.
Now it's stomp on Miranda any chance he can get and it happens to be Michaelia Cash is his tool. Too obvious Bolt too obvious trying to have a one-way debate with Devine using a cherry-picked panel trying to prove a point is all too obvious misogyny. It's all Bolt is capable of and it proves nightly with his one-way debate format on the Bolt Report.
