According to Andrew Bolt  Culture is the downfall of an Indigenous Australian's individual life and therefore  welfare agencies have stepped in on a regular basis out of a mixture of compassion, necessity & embarrassment. Bolt comes from the  self-serving standpoint. He is were he is because in the world of individual accomplishment "he's made it and it his by right" He is part of the A Team. History, Culture, Society and Government merely gets in the way of  an individual free market reality. We need strong leaders and small government to organise and protect this natural order that has brought us to this hierarchy. History if their is one  is of great men leaders that were recognised and rose to the task. If Aborigines were here before us it is a non-issue issue their culture is as useful as an appendix or tonsil to help them survive in today's environment . They need to Assimilate and become more like us.
Well Bolt you are a self-serving cretin like any religious extremist who believes heaven is alone for him because they are the 'elect'. They pay welfare for an ever increasing number of individuals that this organization produces. Rarely do they ask why traditional indigenous societies never suffered the same problems of a growing welfare state.
Your dumb fuck conservative moral stance is built on a material bucket of values characterised by a myth of character, virtue, discipline, tough it out, get tough, tough love, strong, self-reliance, individual responsibility, backbone, standards, authority, heritage, competition, earn, hard work, enterprise, property rights, reward, freedom, intrusion, interference, meddling, punishment, human nature, traditional, common sense, dependency, self-indulgent, elite, quotas, breakdown, corrupt, decay, rot, degenerate, deviant, lifestyle. Leaves you so anal and protective your unable to consider, no not even to contemplate social forces, social responsibility, free expression, human rights, equal rights, concern, care, help, health, safety, nutrition, basic human dignity, oppression, diversity, deprivation, alienation, big corporations, corporate welfare, ecology, ecosystem, biodiversity, pollution, and so on as a community way of life.
Bolt the media megaphone for conservatives sees that the core of indigenous culture is not the individual but community and land and the individual only secondary. For Bolt that's the weakness. Self interest accumulates wealth and incentive  while community interest merely redistributes wealth and stifles progress. As far the right wing is concerned Assimilation is the only road to progress the only way forward and away from welfare dependency. Welfare is a cost a burden that  always needs reduction.

 Today, the theft of Aboriginal children – including babies taken from the birth table – is now more widespread than at any time during the last century.

 From Bolt's  point of view that's not the destruction of culture and identity it's welfare intervention and and the moral imperative of Assimilation.

 As of June last year, almost 14,000 Aboriginal children had been 'removed'.  More than a third of all removed children  in Australia are Aboriginal — while they are only 3% of the population. At the present rate, this mass removal of Aboriginal children will result in a stolen generation of more than 3,300 children in the Northern Territory alone.

 In 2012, the Co-ordinator-General of Remote Services for the Northern Territory, Olga Havnen, was sacked when she revealed that almost $80m was spent on the surveillance and removal of Aboriginal children compared with only $500,000 on supporting the same impoverished families. She said:

 "The primary reasons for removing children are welfare issues directly related to poverty and inequality. The impact on families is just horrendous because if they are not reunited within six months, it's likely they won't see each other again. If South Africa was doing this, there'd be an international outcry."

 The New South Wales parliament is soon to debate legislation that introduces forced adoption and "guardianship". Children under two will be liable – without the mother's consent – if "removed" for more than six months. For many Aboriginal mothers,  it can take six months merely to make contact with their children. "It's setting up Aboriginal families to fail

Bolt supports programs like this because it's not cultural genocide but rather Assimilation and if tough love and intrusion can correct an obsolete lifestyle so be it.Occasionally welfare programs with more progressive values are put in place such as the Cape York Welfare Trial and get bipartisan support. Conservatives like Bolt can't help being negative even if the outcomes are positive. The Noel Pearsons of this world whether they a success or not are ungrateful ill mannered bastards who can't appreciate the the unentitled generosity that is afforded them. Conservatives can't conceive of human rights,dignity & social responsibility It's all a historical as far as Bolt is concerned individuals in a free market who  unentitled have to make their own way and not become welfare dependent. What the fuck did these people did before the invasion is of no interest to him.
