Andrew Bolt Blog; 5/1/15; Bolt believes Abbott is an illiterate boob; Bolt the patron believes he's ripped an Indonesian Artist off; Bolt has a simple answer to racism because he is a simpleton.
Richard Flanagan was Awarded the Booker Prize, and the PrimeMinister's Award. It galls Andrew Bolt who seems tho think Tony Abbott is some literary buffoon. He might well be. However were all the judges on the much more prestigious panel the same? How many reviews did Andrew Bolt's elves need to read to find one that suited Bolt's antagonism of Abbott's intellect. We know he is incapable of little more than sledging. However I'm afraid Bolt is too, they make a pigeon pair don't they.
Their is no humility when it comes to Andrew Bolt so he must be referring to the Muslim artist Qorik. One can be sure Bolt's excitement was as much about the price of his new discovery than the artistic skill. It is typical of his elitism which forgets that history of the arts is appreciated & far more respected in Indonesia than in our own Culture where it has been reduced to dollar value. One can be sure Qorik also looked up Andrew Bolt on the Internet. I wonder what his thoughts were on the nature of his new found admirer.
Here is a thought had Van Gogh painted in Indonesia would he still had to rely on his brother for support given that Western Civilisation gave him none. Would Andrew Bolt take art classes in Australia given he's such an elitist I suspect the answer is no to both.
Bolt's Christmas greeting started "I'm not a Christian" he constantly assures us I'm not a "Muslim","Lefty","Black"or "Green " Denying reality in order to merely promote the conservative ideology of his paymaster Murdoch. Bolt has little or no original arguments to put forward other than those promoted by Fox News, the Koch Bros and the Tea Party. All who have the firm belief that corporate power should control and dominate politics. Furthermore they have the funds to do so particularly in the US. The Murdoch press needs it's contribution to the LNP to be valued in $ terms and declared as a donation to this government. They are a threat to democracy.
As far as Winfrey is concerned the protesters don't have a single issue they are not all black. Some are just thugs, some anti-police, some anti-racism and a bundle of other issues. Bolt wants a simple answer well there isn't one. If somebody criticises or protests against the condition of public parks, swings and slides. It doesn't make them anti-parks and gardens. This applies to police and after what has occurred legitimate.
