Old Dog Thoughts |
News Corporation employs Right-Wing Broadcasters providing them with a platform ensuring the inequality of speech. Their Social Media Platforms not only advocate conservative, and extreme right-wing wing views. They monitor out most opposing opinions which they are entitled to do. However, they also simply lie when they say they provide an arena for fair and balanced discussion in a no-spin zone. They don't it's all spin.

Fighting Fake News with Real; 24/5/22; Lobbyland; The Shovel, Multiculturalism and diversity flourish; Dutton and Guy will unite in opposition;
Key conservatives are claiming that the Coalition's loss was due to the Liberals going too far left. Yet no one who lost a seat did so to a more right-wing candidate (Crikey)
What a bunch of threadbare sock puppets these are working for private interests in the case of Credlin and Bolt specifically feeding News Corp's bottom line in a nation where wealth and incomes are unequally distributed. The media corporate business model drives News Corp to continue to sell mis and disinformation for the likes of the members of the IPA an extreme minority whose interests run counter to the nation's in which "a fair go" is a cultural corner stone. A country in which we are merely the custodians not owners for the generations to come.
The garden of Eden was to be tended not looted. On that basis alone we ought to have let go of the idea of inherited wealth passing down from person to person long ago but rather attended to the planet and the nation as a whole for future generations. We have had the chance to learn that from Indigenous Australia but didn't. We have done nothing to improve their lives for the past 200 years but have suffered the lack of progress because control freaks like Antic, Canavan, Credlin and Bolt hold a megaphone and broadcast the Big Lie and smokescreen for private interest sake.
This Australian version of the Big Lie is the first stage of a
war for the future of the federal Liberal Party, with the far-right
unable to resist the opportunity to exploit the removal of so many more
moderate MPs to drive the federal party away from climate action and
towards culture wars, division and attacks on women and minorities.
At the centre of it will be the foreign political party News
Corp. Despite its irrelevance to mainstream Australia being demonstrated
by the election result, the Murdochs will continue to wield significant
influence within a purged Coalition, and the company will seize on its
status as an opposition party. From yesterday, the Murdoch campaign of
regime change in Australia began — it’s just that the campaign extends
to the Coalition as well as a Labor government.
This shouldn’t be treated as some sort of sideshow. When Tony
Abbott defeated Malcolm Turnbull in 2009 by one vote, with the backing
of News Corp, he set the stage for 13 years of climate wars and
polarised, toxic politics. He was aided by Kevin Rudd’s failure to seize
the moment and go to an election that would have smashed the Coalition.
One mistake is all it takes and the course of political history can be
very different.
The
Murdoch press suddenly discovered women, “An election win is a win. But
…” whimpered Nine’s AFR. For Australia’s corporate media, the “close
race” had suddenly become “carnage”.
United Australia Party gets confused, accidentally delivers 3% cap on its primary vote
They will bring Blai Cotteral and the neo-Nazis back into the LNP light
Moderate
Liberals fear the party will lurch to the right under Dutton’s
leadership and further disenchant voters who abandoned the Coalition on
Saturday night.
