Bolt fails to mention Binoy has won more academic awards than Bolt has grown tulips. He has published widely given conference papers worldwide and has the international respect of his academic peers.
Bolt takes an introductory paragraph of an eminent scholar and sees fit to define him and the whole institution for whom he works as sub standard. The Murdoch trumpet has no qualifications of his own nothing in which he's noted for other than Murdoch madness and right wing opinion. The only reason Bolt spits his venom at Dr Kampark is he wrote an opinion piece in Scoop that certainly didn't flatter his sacred son Tony. As it has little or nothing to do with RMIT why does Bolt lie and suggest it was a teaching tool. Does Bolt have any idea of the classes the man teaches. What we do know Bolt the Uni drop out doesn't approve of any critical theory other than his own.
It's amazing how most of our extreme right wing politicians survived their days on campus.Even our right wing PM came out of his years untouched. Bolt came out with an inferiority complex. Reasoned critical debate is something Bolt knows nothing about. The Bolt Report is proof. Further what has Bolt ever written that was considered worthy as an analysis let alone of academic standard in any capacity. Bolt is a Murdoch hack not a published writer. I bet you there is not even a short story in him.
Bolt is such an arse-licker hinting that Abbott the most disrespected leader in the Western world and the most despised domestic politician is really the worlds best leader. Bolt praises Abbott's Security statement as extremely reasonable. When in fact he said nothing that we haven't heard before.
The most dangerous thing for the country is driving critical speech underground and in doing so encouraging radicalisation. Nothing is ever really said about targeting the alienation, disenfranchisement and unemployment. This is the cohort from which the majority of radicalised youth come some not Muslim. In the main these kids don't even have a pious knowledge of their religion which Bolt claims to be the core of their problem only a passing one at best. Bolt rues that there isn't any critical debate in depth on the issue. However that is a joke coming from a man with only a passing knowledge himself which he uses for vilification and hate mongering for political purpose.
We agree that if laws drive government criticism underground they become a precursor for the growth of more dangerous possibilities. Intelligence 101 will tell you that. Police know Victoria st Richmond is a major distribution centre for the retail selling of drugs. They allow it to persist why because it's under control and not driven to areas far more difficult to survey.
Bolt's biggest fear of Hizb ut-Tahrir is little more than posturing. Driving them underground by law will make his vilification practices harder to explain and justify. If stricter laws apply to one group why wont they apply to all Murdoch press included. Let's face it there is no reasoned debate in the Murdoch/Bolt approach to abuse. Team Australia has gone divisions have been created and violence is hoped for why? Political advantage. Abbott is a desperate leader and the age old practise of creating fear and show-policing it is a means to regain his stocks.
"guts to denounce" is what Bolt want's to retain and the organisation to do it. He wants Murdoch Press to be left alone by "activist judges" Bolt is referring to those in the judicial system not the likes of critical Muslim organisations or me.

Cherry Picking is much more a sceptic activity than informing the the public. However I won't deny that there might be some unreasonable information on both sides. The reasoned information of the worlds scientific and peer -reviewed climate experts is far above and beyond anything provided as information by Andrew Bolt. He only references the Murdoch library of paid liars and hucksters to argue a point. No real information supplied. Freedoms lost is directly proportional to government moves away from Democratic principles. When governments move to either the extreme right or the extreme left freedoms are lost. With both Liberals and Labour moving right and Abbott and his supporters off the spectrum Bolt's claim to be a supporter of freedoms is just absolute bullshit. If 6 Muslims were found demonstrating at his front fence he'd call to have them arrested that's his "freedom of speech"
