We find Andrew Bolt Shrek like bashing away at a pinata in his mind of Jonathan Green astride a stallion. Bolt the non gregarious loner has a number of pinatas tucked between his ears Mike Carlton being a particular favorite which he's never broken.
Bolt knows very minute detail of the lives of the Greens who just go about doing their thing in Melbourne. They on the other hand don't give him even 2 seconds of their mind which seems to irk Bolt no end. It appears he obsessively looks over their social media fence, follows their every move, downloads their intimate photos and rues the fact he remains an outsider in their lives. Bolt however knows their every intimate detail their payslips, hobbies and even the color of their underwear no doubt. Is he a stalker?
A grubby little Peeping Tom he shares all these intimate details with yet another campus Troll Keith Windschuttle the editor of Quadrant. All this goes back to before 2007 when Bolt was a pimply and grubby face peeking over other social media fences. It reminds me of days in the 70's when G.Sharp was editor of Arena and he and Prof Knoffelmacher used to go head to head on Melbourne's campus, days of Naughtons, the Albion, Stuarts and Watsons Bolt so hates to be a nobody.
