Andrew Bolt's Blog,22/7/15; Bolt just keeps Abbott hidden out of the media; Republicans refueling Anti- Abortion by stealth; Morrison I'm Smarter than any Greek; Shorten and the FTA; A morally deficient scientist proves???;$35 Bill uncollected Tax whose problem?

Link a News Corp Paywall Paul Kelly
" It perpetuates the notion that problems can be solved by more taxes on the rich."
$35 billion is owed the ATO by small business and individuals. That $35 billion can't be owed by those receiving wages because their tax is withdrawn from their pay packets. So we can only assume it comes from those in the top 15-20%. Kelly is telling us not to tax the rich he's right they don't pay. However this government has reduced the staffing at the ATO by 3,500. So it would seem they certainly aren't serious about collecting it either or increasing the taxes of these non payers. They'd rather negotiate with them and offer a discount or just let it run on.
In this country there are 2 businesses and 2 jobs for a select few one extra for each is the business of paying less or no tax. What has this got to do with Labour it pays it's taxes.
Always denying and avoiding the science, promoting misinformation, smearing and selecting random cases as proof of scientific failure is Bolt's job of doubt merchant . Science is a continuous on going activity and not the absolute Bolt demands it to be. Name the universal Laws of Science Bolt there are very few but it's what you demand. Your hypocrisy is you say what you don't believe otherwise you'd go to church when ill and not your doctor.
Here is a connection Bolt would never make
The rise of ISIS, was the effect of climate change and the mega-drought that affected that region, Republicans Are Still Totally Wrong About ISIS

Stop the world I want to get off!! Fear for Fears sake is the Bolt's modus operandi. You are not in control of the world in which you live never fear Tony Abbott's here to "keep us all safe". We need reliable caretakers in this dangerous world according to Bolt. ISIS hackers no doubt. The most technologically advanced army kills it’s own. Out with the cheque books. A case of not our fault we were hacked
Link The Quad rant
It's incredibly interesting. Had Sir Isaac Newton, or Albert Einstein had dubious sexual pasts would that and should that have impacted on the integrity of their scientific theories? Should they have been written out of the history books. What has this to do with Science ?
Republicans desperation trying to find an issue to unite behind.
WASHINGTON — Planned Parenthood on Monday told congressional investigators that abortion
opponents had harassed and unlawfully infiltrated its clinics for years
and most likely possessed thousands of hours of surreptitious video
recordings that they could “deceptively edit” and spread for months to
come.
The
charge came in a five-page letter from a Planned Parenthood lawyer that
was the group’s initial response to an investigation by Republicans on a
House committee. Last week, the committee opened the inquiry
after anti-abortion activists circulated a video showing one of the
organization’s doctors describing how some affiliates provide donated
fetal tissue to researchers.
Link Conservative Morrison pouring back to the IPA what it gave him in the first place. Team talk not Australia talk.
It's funny when conservatives drag out their examples of socialist failures they are very selective and never place these events in any historical context. "the Berlin Wall Fell" that's sufficient to prove their point. It's like see Cuba has never flourished economically. However the fact is Cuba has free health, education and subsidized housing. The reason it's economy didn't flourish was the 52 year embargo placed on it by the USA. Kerala was the first democratically elected government in the world. It became the most literate and had the best health system in all of India. Morrison wouldn't dare mention the elephant in the room who we are so reliant on for our economy China Shhh it's a socialist nation.Changing face of Cuba
No like all conservatives Morrison really throws history aside and like all conservatives discards the concept of 'we'. People need to be ruled by a wiser heads and he believes he is that wiser head and of course the IPA to which he's addressing Take a look at the socialist Greeks.
" The Greek electorate has been complicit in its demise… The recent
plebiscite results indicate the Greek electorate remain complicit, if
not deluded."
70% of the electorate voted and Morrison basically describes them as idiots. The rich stole the money and the poor are to blame.
"you can’t pay off your debts with moral virtue. Creditors prefer cash"
Not a single word is given to loan sharking or irresponsible banking when private investors kept pouring money in for greater returns to panic and be saved by Governments. Germany being the largest. Morrison never refers to the predator lending of of the Worlds's largest banks that helped create Greece's deficit in the first place. When they were about to go belly up they were rescued not broken up like Greece. They weren't required to sell their assets. They were save by the tax payer. Not so Greece, "creditors prefer cash" not a softening.
Since 2004/05 our welfare and social services bill has increased
from around $90 billion to over $150 billion this year. This included a
doubling in expenditure on the age and disability pensions and job
seeker allowances, a fourfold increase in carer income support and a
350% increase in child care subsidies.
Maybe Morrisson should consider the increased income and wealth gap that has occurred since the 80s. That we in fact are not going down the road that Greece is but the road that the USA went down. the road that privatized everything and the road that left 40% of America on the poverty line. Why has there been an increase of 350% in child subs is it because 2 income families are struggling and the middle class is shrinking? There was a time a 1 income family could survive not today unless your in the top 15%. Doesn't the government need to invest borrow and invest in job growth? Doesn't it need to plan for the future of society and not only the future of profit?

"Disagreement is with how much warming there is. Is it going to be a
catastrophe or is it going to be 0.5 degrees and as far as we can see
the evidence the empirical evidence, and there's lots of it, all seems
to point to it being around about half a degree to maybe one degree with
CO2 doubling which is not the catastrophic projections that are coming
out from the climate models.[12
Sorry Bolt that's been proven false over and over again. Nova agrees that increased CO2 does produce increased Warming but simply argues the costs are too high. China, Coal. Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid.
This will potentially cost taxpayers and consumers billions more each year, when we already subsidise green power by around $3 billion a year.
Effect on global warming? Nil.
Effect on the economy? Business lost, jobs lost.

Abbott has disappeared. He took Harry Potters invisibility cloak with him.
Shorten is on the other hand fighting for who he represents The ALP the Labour Party. “Australia cannot and should not try to compete with other nations in a race to the bottom on wages and conditions’ The FTA signed by Abbott agrees that China can bring Chinese Labour to Australia for contracts over a 150 Mill. So China can tender for a road and subcontract it out to the Chinese who don't have to employ expensive Australian Labour . The only winners here are the Chinese and the business men putting out the contracts. "“In the parliament, Labor will fight to retain labour market
testing, so employers need to show they cannot find suitable local
workers before they turn to temporary migration for projects greater
than $150 million...” Shorten is the only one fighting for the everyday working man and not turning him into a bystander.
DFAT's RESPONSE The 457 visa program assists employers to address labour shortages
by bringing in genuinely skilled workers where they cannot find an
appropriately skilled Australian" We've already seen just how corrupt the 457 visa policy is and are now expected to trust it. It's why "labour market testing needs to be retained"
"Yes, he’s pandering to unions, populism and racism," No Andrew Bolt com-modification before people is what's at stake here much the same as the frustration of the Greeks. The initial benefits of globalisation are being lost to global corporatisation. Here's Bolt raises the spectre of racism which he claims not to exist only when he finds it useful which then is hardly convincing.
