Andrew Bolt's Blog,19/10/15; The education trap; Abetz is lost in a Quixotic world; Bolt caught naked poll dancing; Butthead Bolt is struck by his higher than thou morality;

Why is the foul-mouthed Lawler still on the bench?

I don't understand why Lawler was given the work  allowances and conditions he claims. However we do know the Commission was an Abbott instituted one.

Bolt as he usually does echos all that we know as if it were his great discovery. However vigilante journalism of the Bolt kind doesn't help to clarify anything. Butthead Bolt the ultra conservative claims he's offended by Lawler's use of the term "cunt struck". He is just such a hypocrite when his his whole media presence is a profanity and insult to our intelligence. Bolt  selects two words common in Australian social circles and let's us know they are an offense to him.   Words offensive enough to have people sacked.

More offensive however is Bolt  a convicted liar and vilifier who pretends to be  a person of higher morals than the rest of us.

Abbott shows table manners

Table manners? What a joke a rabble of pissed conservative punters  smash a $500 dollar table and it takes a month and nobody stood up to put their hands in their pockets. Bolt it's taken a month!  The media had to  pick up the story before Abbott put his hand up and now your trying to turn him into a saint for something he ought to have dealt with 4 weeks ago. Where was his team those loyal and lovable conservatives that would follow him anywhere? Where were you Bolt?

"Can this ludicrous and vindictive witch-hunt of Abbott now end?"Bolt

You begging for your boy? Apologizing for him. It was yet another captains call and Abbott chose to do nothing until the heat was on.

Michael Lawler: it’s “honourable” to take nine months of sick leave to defend partner

Appointed by none other than Tony Abbott who saw Kathy as his Joan d'Arc. Who else has the work place conditions Lawler received What union does he belong to, Abbott's?

One night

It's what loves salacious gossip and smut imagine what he's like when drunk. Too ugly to imagine. However the pretense about Art, Opera Literature gives way to social porn and gutter humour no doubt.

Too much crawling to Turnbull, who should not get this blank cheque

Link Sinclair Davidson Catallaxy files for Conservatives only. Link Paywall to Murdoch's Herald Sun Link Andrew Bolt's call to divide the LNP

Andrew Bolt is arguing that he'd prefer to see the LNP divided than see Abbott's policies altered in any way shape or form. Like Abbott the word negotiation holds no value in Bolt's world. This nation is not one based on sharing it's one based on rule by orders and the principles held by an extreme minority of right wing conservatives.

"There seems to be some cheerleading going on here - a determination to write Malcolm Turnbull a blank cheque, and to savage any conservatives who dare question what he’s actually doing with the power he’s snatched. What seems more important to some people is that the Liberals win, rather than good policy triumph." Bolt

The definition of "good policy" is simply our policy as far as Bolt is concerned. It's why Abbott failed to negotiate anything through the senate.

How would the numbers fall if another vote was taken in the LNP. If Bolt is so intent on dividing the party they will just leave him out in the cold pissing in the wind.

Nauru rape claim challenged. Abortion refused

Surely the to-ing an fro-ing  of statements about what she said he and he said doesn't help the situation whatsoever. Nor does Bolt by saying who he prefers to believe. This seems something that can be cleared up very quickly without the government been seen to be red faced. Ensure that the girl is treated properly and get it over and done with. The authorities should be bending over backwards to get this settled not arguing about the stories told. let her say what it is she want's and let her say  it publicly not behind a curtain of secrecy and unnamed "medical professionals" whatever that means.

Netanyahu to BBC’s Doucet: “Are we living on the same planet?”

There is more to just one side of the story Netanyahu's

"Most of the attackers have come from East Jerusalem. Israel has occupied the sector since 1967 and considers the entire city its capital, but this is not recognised by the international community

There are about 300,000 Palestinians in East Jerusalem, all of whom have so-called "permanent residence" status, meaning they can live and work in Israel and, inter alia, receive the same social benefits and health insurance as Israelis. They can apply for full citizenship, but most have chosen not to, preferring not to recognise Israeli sovereignty.

Some 200,000 Jewish citizens live in 12 settlements in East Jerusalem. They are widely considered illegal under international law, though Israel disputes this.

Palestinians want East Jerusalem as the capital of a future state, but Israel says the city will never again be divided.

Arguably the most contentious issue between Israel and the Palestinians is the fate of a site in the Old City area of East Jerusalem known to Jews as the Temple Mount and Muslims as Haram al-Sharif. The compound is revered by Jews as the site of two biblical temples and is the holiest site in Judaism.

It also contains the al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest shrine in Islam. Sensitivities around what happens there means it is a continual source of religious and political tension, sometimes spilling over into violence."

Column - Are foreign students dragging down the locals?

Is Bolt basing his argument on bigotry or fact he offers a lot of anecdotal evidence but nothing that can be held up with any strength to make a broad generalization. Have you noticed Bolt hasn't named the institutions or courses. He seems to be a product of a third rate course himself particularly stats. Dissatisfied graduates often find the promise of the paper chase to be false. There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow only debt today built on false hope. Hasn't anybody noticed that once the teller behind the bank counter had to have a high school 3rd form certificate but today he needs a degree. Basic degrees do nothing for you in the work place any more. Now you now need an MA or at least a double degree. Educational inflation raises the question of whether degree standards have changed or not. However it doesn't ask the question whether or not the promise of education has been built on false hope.

Tertiary Education is one of the country's biggest exports. We have 4-5  universities in the top 50 in the world and even more in the top 100. That's a statistic that couldn't be achieved if Andrew Bolt's suggestion is correct and that the industry is diluting the quality for abd because of foreigners. Further that international standard couldn't be achieved if Andrew Bolt was correct in describing  our universities as little more than madrasas for left wing thinking. Neither of his assertions seem to stack up. Unfortunately however there have been a lot of private institutions that have been allowed to spring up almost unregulated that have challenged our reputation internationally and have ripped overseas students off.

Unregulated private enterprise facilitates fraud with little warning but "caveat emptor "as the warning. That warning is of little use when the redress through the courts is so expensive and you've already done your dough. Government institutions are better regulated. They attract complaints as well however the possibility of redress is greater.  The LNP push to privatize them is preparing a downward spiral. The LNP push is towards  US model fails to recognize today's  American experience. They are turning away from a structure which  has proven to be little more than financial institutions selling increasing debt without any useful product. Enslaving the next generation to a life of work just to pay off loans is now regarded as entrapment and not education.

Kissinger: crush the Islamic State

Link Paywall to Murdoch's Australian

Kissinger offers advice but not the means on how to do it. How does he suggest ISIS should be removed . He's got Aladdin's lamp in his hand. Has rubbed it but no genie has appeared. He took the USA and us to a fully fledged war once before and we lost.

Abetz: why this media war on Christians?

Link Paywall to Murdoch's Australian

Eric Abetz displays the victimology of the paranoid extreme right in the face of the what he regards as  the recent shift to the godless left. It has Eric Abetz somehow believing Abbott the mad monk is still center for attention and not on the backbench. The problem with Abetz he seems unable to keep up with current affairs. If  the last census questionnaire allowed  for the category of non religious at the top or had no hints maybe the Senator might just find Australia is not as Christian as he would like to believe.Census change: Is Australia losing its religion?

Wild poll swing to Turnbull

"  One of these polls is wrong. Or possibly both." Bolt

Andrew Bolt refuses to admit he's wrong about Malcolm. He prefers the role of media idiot saying one of two polls a week apart is wrong.

What is he saying? This week is not last week obviously. My position is wiser than any professionals. I prefer last week because it makes me look less of an idiot than 53:47. Maybe I should be pleased because Rupert wants an early election.Fairfax-Ipsos poll: Malcolm Turnbull’s stunning ascendancy to fuel early election talk
