Andrew Bolt's Blog,10/3/16; Bolt and Jones can gamble but can't bluff; It's not Opera but it's a song Andrew Bolt doesn't know; Bolt the case of the pot calling the kettle black; Disparagement by others or by himself tends to be a very commonly used tool by Bolt. Bolt the angered Dervish goes into a spin on a tiny lady with a gigantic CV and the heart of a true consevative for analysis of Abbott's ruin.

Jones remembers one thing about Turnbull, I another

This denotes what you both forgot!! Your not in the game and nor is Abbott. Reading this blog shows just how off table they both are. But then clocks are right twice a day. Hey Andrew Bolt Abbott’s not on the the table or a Gambler listen!!

Every time Jones and Bolt try to promote the virtues of Abbott's coalition saying Turnbull has only adopted Abbot's policies the poll ratings of the LNP fall. They don't rise. However Turnbull's personal ratings remain high. Using Bolt's correlation faculties just the reminder of Abbott and the thought of him coming back as PM make LNP stocks plunge. Keep it up Andrew.

Speccie defends Credlin’s honor

They are rolled out on mass Herald Sun, the Spectator, Quadrant, Catallaxy Files as if by surprise so much push back and support still exists for Tony Abbott. Like most of bolt's blogs they exist for one purpose to sell media. Primarily News Corp media but also other extreme conservative press. Simply click on the links and count how many are advertorial teasers to subscribe to or go out and buy. When and if you do most are as hollow as an Easter egg particularly the Herald Sun which is sport, entertainment, opinion advertising and 5-10% news if your lucky on a good day.

Column - The hypocrites crucifying Peta Credlin

image

Andrew Bolt was continuously criticizing the PMO which was who Peta Credlin? The PM's Office was used in so many ways to take the blame off Abbott. Abbott needed to to have Credlin's power reduced shee had too much responsibility for one person. Abbott needed to listen to his mate Greg Sheridan who actually called for getting rid of Credlin. How often did we hear from Bolt that the structure of the PMO was harming and not helping Abbott. Now he's a staunch supporter and all others that go before him hypocrites?

Sorry Bolt you spent 2014 & 2015 trying to whitewash Abbott  the PM's Office structure often to blame. In the end it was such an avalanche of blunders by Abbott you just went silent and turned you energy from deflection to distraction finding anything but Abbott to talk about for months on end. Bill Shorten became your focus why just to take the attention off Abbott and his office not because Shorten was any danger. All the danger was coming from Abbott and his office.

Richo on Turnbull: “stupid”, “bizarre”, “absurd”, “no ticker”, “has no idea”

Disparagement Andrew Bolt's view is quite clear on it's poverty when used by commentators. He complained when used against Tony Abbott but never an issue when used against Turnbull, Gillard, Rudd, etc etc.

Tell me how wonderful you are, Mr Windsor

Disparagement the tool of a very poor opinion columnist. That's according to none other than yes, Andrew Bolt. Ask yourself how often he uses it in his blogs. Abbott strategy makes Windsor a threat

Savva’s excuses for her vitriol make no sense

'Frantic' 'vicious' 'campaign ' Delivered by Bolt spinning like an angered dervish at Niki Savva's analysis of what unchecked rumors can do in politics. Bolt is the one in hysterics not Savva. Just check out he language from someone who all last year kept telling us something must be done about the PMO and Peta Credlin's role in it. Abbott has to change was Bolt's cry back then but he's blind to the fact. Change in 2015 was everybody's cry but the PM wasn't listening. As for viciousness could it have got any worse than what he did to Peter Slipper his mate. Nobody complained? The whole back bench complained.

'The delay of a decade' Bolt simply overlooks the fact that the delay was the time framework the ADF had put on the the delivery of subs when Abbott ruled. Abbott changed that time frame totally on his own the day he made his comment. Was that Peta Credlins idea? It certainly was too clever for Abbott the three word sloganeer. "Having failed so spectacularly as a prime minister, he seems determined Malcolm Turnbull also should fail." It's exactly why this seems a very legitimate question.

Bolt just conveniently forgets that it was Feb 2015 that Abbott was given every opportunity to change by his MPs. That this was a culmination that was simmering post May 2013.  Abbott distanced himself like royalty from the LNP and Credlin was the very tool he happily used. Abbott simply reversed adage of keeping friends and enemies close he actually distanced them one and all. The Monarchist acted as he was king and even made that significant captain's call to prove it. Our jaws dropped.

Bolt's response " This is farcical. So some underperforming staff felt bruised. Poor diddums. God spare us a Prime Ministerial office run along the absurdly tender lines Savva suggests." Not only his office staff but the whole party were just "poor diddums" in fact.

"I have had a very warm relationship with Niki and like her pluck. But I never understood her obsessive hatred of Credlin, and her attempts to justify her smears have become cartoonish."

It seems to me that Niki Savva could argue that she has been defamed. It seems to me that if Bolt tried to plead the defence of truth and fair comment, he might not succeed, because what he's saying is not true. The facts in his rave are not, in legal terms, 'truly stated'. Niki Savva at no stage accused Abbott and Credlin of having an affair.

George Pell interviewed

This is advertising Public Relations presented as commentary. Six hours with Andrew Bolt in a day after 20 hours at the Royal Commission is not an off the cuff interview. It's the selling of an excuse. Now Andrew Bolt needs to warrant the cost of that production by playing it daily in the hope of cross selling News Corp media.
