MIKE SECCOMBE'S 20 DUMBEST HOWLERS IN ATTACKING SKY NEWS

Mike Seccombe's attack on Sky News contains at least 20 factual errors and misrepresentations - including giving the wrong ratings and the wrong line-up.  It's so inaccurate that you'd probably conclude he's dishonest, but, knowing him, I'd say he's just a stupid man blinded by Leftist malice. I list his errors.
7 Oct It seems to me Mike Seccombe's touched a nerve because Bolt, when he does long posts, is trying to hide things. If Seccombe is saying Sky News is a Conservative leaning News station is Andrew Bolt denying it. Strange how we more than often hear Andrew Bolt declaring that as a private entity it's entitled to be and that he is a conservative-leaning news show and is proud of it. Proud because he claims to be a counterweight the left-leaning ABC. So what bullshit is he, in fact, spouting here that his show is fair and balanced how many ways does Bolt want it each and every way it seems. Compare the anything the ABC does against anything Bolt does look at the substance and tell us where the and who has the most professional journalists. Bolt seems to think ex-politicians the least trusted people in the community are journalists. Simply do a numbers count and tell me who cobbles any news together od Sky. Bolt no, Emmerson no Kroger no Credlin no. When did Bolt super reporter last do any news? He publicly admitted he hated it and has never had the stomach for it. That's no Howler

JULIE BISHOP: MINISTER FOR FUN AFFAIRS

The deputy Liberal leader has great skills: "Julie Bishop ... spent $7000 visiting Adelaide about the time of her sister’s birthday four times in the past seven years... Bishop this week defended what was her fourth consecutive taxpayer-funded trip to the AFL grand final."  Then there's her 'official business' at the Melbourne Cup and Derby Day.
7 Oct I think Peter BH whose doing Bolt's work when Bolt is taking the weekend off is treading on eggshells. One only needs to look at the weddings and birthdays Tony Abbott attended and his travel expenses as a backbencher before stirring up shit about Julie Bishop.
"How come Bronwyn Bishop had to go over a chopper ride but Julie Bishop can stay despite all this?" Tony Abbott spent more on travel than past three prime ministers ...
$120,000 If anybody should go first shouldn't it be this backbencher who feels so entitled?
PAYWALL
Paywalls are there generally when Andrew Bolt has nothing to say. Critics accusations need some substance if they are to be addressed and it's as if Bolt 's doing to Guthrie what he's doing to the CEO s of AGL BHP and Rio Tinto. Does he really believe for one second he has the ability to run any of these organizations? Guthrie is right News Corp produces what for Australian Television nothing in the way of news or cultural advantage What is it they offer? There is no competition. I don't turn to Sky because it has nothing to say just as the Spectator and Quadrant have nothing to say. Bolt has paywalled this post because Pepa Pig has more to say than he does.
"

Ms Guthrie also attacked the Turnbull government's media law reforms, which include an undertaking to hold an inquiry into the ABC and disclosing staff salaries, under a deal struck with One Nation in August.
"Legislation designed to further a political vendetta by one party uncomfortable with being scrutinised by our investigative programs is not good policy-making," she said.
"Neither is using the ABC Act as a bargaining chip in industry machinations that have nothing to do with the national broadcaster."

ABC boss Michelle Guthrie attacks commercial rivals, media law reforms

“There is no pressing need to change the ABC Act and its Charter, no matter how much commercial chief executives and their compliant media outlets argue otherwise,” she said in a draft of her speech to the ABC Friends Public Conference dinner in Sydney on Friday.
