 The 300-page report issued by the American Meteorological Society and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) mentioned the word “abnormal” a dozen times, referring to storms, droughts, scorching temperatures and record low ice cover in the Arctic.

The president of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria, Jennifer Huppert, said articles such as Bolt’s do nothing for the cohesion of Australian society.

“There is a rise in ultra-rightwing activity in Victoria and this type of activity can fuel antisemitic, anti-Islamic and general racist debate and language in our community,” Huppert told Guardian Australia. “Articles like this definitely don’t help cohesion in society.”

Bolt singles out groups such as Chinese, Cambodian, Indian and Jewish and quotes what percentage of the community where they live that they represent.
“In Melbourne’s North Caulfield, 41 per cent of residents are Jews, including hundreds who have lately fled South Africa,” he said. “Dandenong now has an official Little Indian Cultural Precinct, with 33 Indian businesses.”

Huppert says listing the percentage of the community that is Jewish is meaningless.
“It tells us nothing about social cohesion. It doesn’t inform the debate in any meaningful way, it’s purely looking at census figures,” she said.

“It doesn’t say whether they are integrated into the broader community.
“You’d be very hard-pressed to say Jews hadn’t integrated into the wider community and I think you can extrapolate that to other migrant groups as well.

The fact is these people come here for the opportunity, freedom and equity we espouse. The freedom to vote, Practice Religion, Work, Separation of Powers and Secular Justice system, in fact, everything Andrew Bolt rails against, So the question is why is he here?

Fake news from Crikey's Bernard Keane: "To see Jews being singled out and criticised for forming 'colonies' and failing to integrate, [by Andrew Bolt] in a mainstream media outlet, makes the blood run cold." It's not just Keane complaining Melbournes Jews are because Bolt lumped them in with various other groups he's had a go at. He didn't mention that this was the initial stages for most immigrant groups and has been for 200 years. Bolt made out and implied it was current and exceptional and should be curtailed. So slack was his claim and what he wrote that he was reported to the APC by more than one group. Now he's trying to worm his way out of it. We all read and understand English and also understand the subtext when we know the person it's coming from and we know Andrew Bolt extremely well. By the way, when we arrived in Australia in 1949 we also moved to Nth Caulfield largely because it was very middle European Jews actually came from a broad range of cultures and spoke a wide range of languages they may have recognized themselves through their religion as Catholics did and the largest Synagog happened to be near there. Given their experience of WW2 it's far from strange they clustered even when they came from different backgrounds and spoke different languages. Clare denies it, and today the accuser says Clare was "sitting beside" Husar" so probably couldn't see.

I think Andrew Bolt just loves telling the story any which way he can. One really needs to ask why the DT Murdoch paper reported the story in the first place without any verification there seems to have been an awfully full room at the time and so lots of people could have been questioned. Bolt just loves the telling of the story which gets him the attention without the accusations of slut-shaming a woman.

The NYT allows their employees to hold their individual opinions equally and without systemic racism. Sky News locks it's commentators into exclusive contracts and demands them to be of a particular political persuasion which inevitably makes News Corp Racist no matter the colour of the individuals hired.

Reporters can't even report a brawl over fake news without repeating fake news: "White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has refused to distance herself from Donald Trump’s assertions that the media is 'the enemy of the people,' in a heated row with journalists." But Trump never said the media collectively was the "enemy of the people".

Bolt denies he's a Dutch commentator or an immigrant commentator yet describes the first-born of other immigrant arrivals as not real Australians Dodson job has little or nothing to do with the with his race. However, he can speak for the Indigenous because even Bolt acknowledges he's more indigenous than him.

Bolt, however, also seems to acknowledge there is some basis for indigenous simmering anger and that's the failure of White Australian History to acknowledge the "past wrongs" commited despite the fact most Australians are ready to say sorry.

As for violence, Andrew Bolt, unlike Mick, has called for violence after his attempt at GBH in Carlton. He loudly called for retaliation like his gutsy performance by our gutless Christian Right.
