Christchurch and the media
A more diverse mainstream media wouldn’t platform so much hate what can be done about the everyday torrent of racism that shoots from mainstream media – print, broadcast and digital. Some of our best-paid, most high-profile media personalities are up to their necks in it, with the fulsome support of their producers and editors, and have been for years. The solution is not just to ask or require that same talent, or their bosses, to change their tune. The solution is to usher new talent into mainstream media, from a more diverse background, as fast as humanly possible.
ISIS calls for retaliation over Christchurch massacre
Islamic State group spokesman has emerged from nearly six months of silence to mock America's assertion of having defeated the group
Flip the coin and what do you find but racist and Islamophobic Andrew Bolt foxing us in the way ISIS does. However, Bolt's faux cry of unity at the moment just can't be believed given 1) his 30-year history and 2) his Trumpist claim violence has equivalency on both sides 3) which is basically a denial of his involvement in encouraging hatred for the past 20 years.
Propaganda is propaganda whether right or left and advertisers shouldn't participate in it.
After Christchurch: Business as usual in racist Australia
" It hurts me to say that but looking at our Government, Prime Minister, senior ministers and mainstream media in general, what else can we ascertain? Within days, days, of the murder of 50 innocent Muslims while praying, at the hands of a far right, white supremacist “Australian” extremist, Australia is back to business as usual.
Interim Prime Minister Scott Morrison is giving speeches about "division", tossing in “both Left and Right”, reminiscent of President Trump's “very fine people on both sides” rubbish."
It runs much deeper than that because Andrew Bolt is batting for a side and not any principles. It's why he is equivalent to the ISIS spruikers on Social Media and not the opposite. In no sense is Andrew Bolt merely confused or incapable. He is the public face and head cheerleader for an organisation that exploits Racism, Islamophobia for the holy dollar. He works for News Corp and Sky. He works for Murdoch and is on his string. He is paid not to self-reflect but hide in plain sight. He's very ugly Australian, but then he dreams of retirement elsewhere.(ODT)
You will never guess which one of these people is Andrew Bolt who thinks he's Superman.

Andrew Bolt and my other media colleagues seem incapable of self-reflection after Christchurch.
"The both sides argument has rung hollow for years, but at this moment it is disgusting "AlcornIt runs much deeper than that because Andrew Bolt is batting for a side and not any principles. CNN's Brian Stelter breaks down why advertisers are fleeing Tucker Carlson's show
the number of ads on his show has really markedly declined. We are seeing a significant advertiser pressure campaign against Carlson's show by this liberal group Media Matters, and it is having a real effect. You look at the number of minutes of ads on his show, there is a very small ad load compared to most other shows on television. So what we're seeing is that a lot of advertisers, big brand advertisers, don't want to be associated with these kinds of shows that end up stoking a lot of controversy that ended up causing a lot of concern. It caused a lot of heartburn among advertisers, so they've pulled out. But Fox is standing by Tucker. And that's something else the president said, "stay with Tucker Carlson. Stay firm with Tucker Carlson." I think the president is trying to make sure his biggest supporters on TV stay on TV. It's like a shelter from the storm. He wants to make sure that shelter is reinforced.
The question, would Sky standby Andrew Bolt in the same way? (ODT)
ON TONIGHT: TURKEY THREATENS AUSTRALIANS, SLEEPING GIANTS EXPOSED
Bolt's fears exposedAndrew Bolt is worried because why? Because there are so few or they, are so effective? Is he calling his advertisers that left dumb? Hardly the salesman he makes himself out to be. Good on Pool Werks I now use them and will consider using NIB. We must check out the full list, the numbers that left and have Bolt so worried.
BDS protesting is having a concerning effect on Israel globally. The state is spending hundreds of millions or billions trying to stop BDS anyway it can. Isn't that totally against the free market competition Bolt so admires? When governments step in to prevent competition and opinion in other sovereign states isn't that Communist?
Go Sleeping Giants or Giant who cares it's competent enough to have Bolt disparage his advertisers who have left, and that seems more than one Bolt's story is old why is he making out its a "discovery"? If one individual can close him down, that's one very responsible individual a David against Goliath. Bolt doesn't like the heat can he be made to leave the kitchen? (ODT)
Free Speech Bolt supports it doesn't he?
