Signs opposing Zali Steggall in Warringah

Warringah voters complain about free copies of Daily Telegraph as election rancour boils | Australia news | The Guardian

Murdoch who gives nothing away and is surrounded by paywalls. Has been tossing the Daily Telegraph to non-subscribers in Warringah gratis since March. All in support of his dog in the race Tony Abbott. How many dollars will be spent by election time and has this been declared as a political donation? (ODT)

Residents in the federal seat of Warringah are complaining about telephone push polling, unwanted copies of the Daily Telegraph arriving on their lawns and election posters being defaced.
The most mysterious event in the Sydney seat, where the former prime minister Tony Abbott is fighting a challenge from the independent Zali Steggall, is the arrival of unsolicited copies of the Telegraph, which began in late March.
Residents in Manly, Queenscliff, Curl Curl and Fairlight said they had begun intermittently receiving copies of the News Corp tabloid newspaper, despite not being subscribers. The Telegraph has run a number of stories that would not have delighted Steggall’s campaign.

THE TRUTH ABOUT SHORTEN'S 'SMALL STUMBLES'

Terry McCrann on the Labor apologists defending Bill Shorten's "small stumbles": "I would... apply a different descriptor... to the leader of a political party refusing point blank to detail... the costs of the most fundamental, most wide-reaching, most fundamentally economy and society-changing policy... proposed by a party seeking government."

  PAYWALL

In real terms, Terry Mc Crann can't be bothered about the fact that massive investments are being made to reduce CO2 emissions, not by governments but the free market based purely on the logic of the hidden costs that will be suffered if we don't. Mc Cranns demand of the limits and constraints of investment merely is moronic. For an economist to take Mc Crann's approach is to ask how much are we prepared to spend saving the planet before walking away when it's the only planet we have.
Shorten stumbles McCrann is the Lemming trying to take everyone over the cliff.

PAYWALL

Abbott won that prize years ago. He's so far in front of the race it's well over. Now Bolt even avoids talking about him in fear of reviving our memories. Scapegoating Turnbull is hardly being smart. Abbott's jumped left and joined the warming church and Bolt has ignored that. He batteling on local issues because he can't be seen to be remindin everyone wh he really is. Silent on the ABC,Climate,Nauru is he really running in this Federal election?
News Corp is doing the job however breaking the donation laws by giving their paywalled Daily Telegraph free to non-subscribers in Warringah. They have been doing it since March is the report. How pissed off would subscribers be?
There's no loyalty it seems from Murdoch and have these donations been listed? There are 63,000 dwellings in the electorate so how large is Murdoch's contribution going to be if this goes on until the election? Whose really paying for these papers?
As for Global Warming not only is the rate of warming growing but so is the rate of investment by private enterprise in reducing CO2. Where has Bolt "sanely" invested his money> He's never offered to say. However, Ladbrokes would bet it's not in coal.
