COLUMN Is there anything Bill Shorten actually understands about global warming and his dangerous plan to “stop” it? His ignorance about his hugely expensive plan to cut our global warming gases by 45 per cent by just 2030 is frightening. Voters think it was the wrong call
The vast majority of respondents — 78 per cent — think that the decision to remove Malcolm Turnbull in August last year was the wrong call. That conclusion is drawn from 153,354 responses to Vote Compass between April 10 and April 16.Non-subscribers, in Warringah, have been given the Daily Telegraph Gratis, for free. They pay nada to read this Carasouel of Crap. If I were a paying customer, I'd cancel my subscription and demand a refund. This has been going on since March and will be continuing through until the election. So if non-subscribers are getting it gratis why should others pay?
Bolt's been offering this same repetitive pap up for over a week, nothing's changed all it proves is fake news and opinion are being put out as propaganda to polish Australia's turd Tony Abbott and others like him. There are 63,000 residences in Warringah how few are Daily Telegraph subscribers. If this is going on elsewhere with the Herald Sun, Courier Mail and Advertiser how big an undeclared donation is this to the Liberal Party? If News Corp is being paid whose paying and what a bonanza for Murdoch, the largest distributor of IPA policy in the country. Either way, it reeks of Corporate interference into what our Democratic elections are intended to be.
So let's examine the word "clueless" for a moment. Tony Abbott eagerly sent and spent $ 0,5 billion annually to offer assistance to a coalition of forces to conduct a war of terror in the Middle East. It was less than 1% of the contribution to the collateral damage caused by a coalition of nations. Yet Abbott let us know just how appreciated his irrational contribution to keep us safe was.
The planet is warming how do we know because Tony Abbott no longer disbelieves the science. It's no longer "crap" or just another religion as his mate Andrew Bolt still maintains. However, they both always attack Australian warmists because our contribution to global CO2 emissions is only 1% and so any assistance or contribution given the 196 other nations to reduce world CO2 is crap. It won't even be noticed unlike our 1% contribution to the war of terror we conducted. So unlike the necessary effort put in to bomb the Middle East and reign hell on innocent families no effort is needed to do anything for the Planet. Science and technology used for destruction are ok in their minds, but if used for good then it's clueless that's Bolt Logic. He talks about the "cost" not of investment but not of the cost of doing nothing about climate. A Plan B is assumed, when the time comes, however, if it does it will emerge that there is no Plan B and only one earth. Going "Dutch" or splitting the bill is not an option.
Bolt was loud and critical of Victoria's desalination plant praying for rain was always better than spending money. He yelled and screamed about the costs back then too and the irrationality of the spending the then ALP was doing. He doesn't talk about that anymore, does he? The dams are currently 50% full and going down. Shorten is acting on a real problem and not just playing politics for politic's sake or his hip pocket.

His catch cry "who let them in " echoed around Australia for years.

Bolt encouraged and enabled the rise of right-wing Christian Nationalists in Australia and can't escape the influence he had on helping Blair Cotteral to become a leading light. Cotteral was admired by the Christchurch shooter as his role model, and Andrew Bolt helped. We clearly know the result and could well accept Christchurch as a consequence and a trigger to what occurred in Sri Lanka. Bolt went silent for three days after the NZ tragedy but not so now even though the two can be linked and Bolt's media involvement in both.
