Petitions, Probes and Rupert Murdoch
Murdoch’s hirelings are ready. Unfortunately for Hanson-Young, the News Corp imperium is skilled in camouflaging inertia against change with promises of activity. The inquiry’s terms of reference are also shallow, omitting any reference to News Corp Australia while calling for an examination of the “state of media diversity, independence and reliability in Australia and the impact that this has on public interest journalism and democracy.”
Trump is mad at Fox News
US President Donald Trump spent his morning taking aim at Fox News. It's not the first time
He's still yet to speak in public since the election was called for president-elect Joe Biden.
Seemingly
referring to himself as Fox's "Golden Goose" the President said the
networks ratings were flagging, and suggested he was the reas
. daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there. They forgot the Golden Goose. The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was!
He
then went on to retweet several negative tweets about Fox before citing
a report from a far right network, baselessly votes had been
manipulated at multiple sites.
The unsubstantiated claim was again met with a fact check warning from Twitter.

Let's be clear Rupert Murdoch created President Trump from a tawdry fake TV entertainer and made the clown king. Long before Trump ran for the post Rupert Murdoch said America's biggest existential threat was the widening income and wealth gaps that would eventually destroy the nation if nothing was done. Murdoch actually provided Trump with the package to run. He created and backed Trump not for politics but his business model. Well at least Roger Ailes did. However Trump the puppet thought he really was Trump the President, the real thing. The Caesar that truly deserved the keys to the kingdom. Well he fucked that up like he has everything he's ever done in life. Other than playing the role of a fake business tycoon on a TV reality show Trump been scamming the future and hiding his past as he moved on. Nothing's changed. He needs Murdoch far more than Murdoch needs him.(ODT)
