News Corp’s dirty laundry has been aired in a day of extraordinary Senate hearings, with former employees accusing the media giant of spiking public interest journalism, a toxic workplace culture, and sexist reporting. More than 74-years of combined experience at News Corp was on display in emotional testimony before the Senate inquiry into media diversity on Friday, as former staff exposed how the Murdoch empire’s dominance warps public perception and perpetuates stereotypes.

However, about the letter and dossier he never read accusing Christian Porter of rape Bolt made out he'd done his "homework". He certainly had and both were contrived and false. The fact that on the night of the alleged rape young Porter and the girl went to Sydney's Rock Club Bolt said the Hard Rock Cafe hadn't been built in 1988. Bolt was right but it was the Oz Rock Club that was being referred to. Bolt also correctly pointed out that there were no baths at the student residences of the University college in his Perry Mason like address. What Bolt missed was the dead woman said she was so drunk she couldn't recall but she was put in either a bath or shower. Something Andrew Bolt conveniently omitted and not just missed. It wasn't long before Michael Kroger was spreading Bolt's false facts and "warping public perception". Neither Bolt or Kroger have offered any retraction. Is it any wonder they want the ABC gone?
Media Watch may have caught Bolt out. Bolt certainly didn't offer a retraction but the damage was done. Bullshit is Bolt's stock in trade. He's been sued and convicted in our courts for exactly that and been called lazy by the judge and a liar by people very close to him. Polite words I must say because they are always too late. The bull has wrecked the china shop left an unholy mess and Bolted. News Corp's insurance has paid. One thing can be said about Goebbels he had a Phd.
