A Change is coming our way we hope
Yo-Yo government games are being played with our Democracy. The LNP's effort was intent on diminishing our most trusted source of media and information the ABC. The extent never seen before on such a large scale as in the past decade. It helped slide us down the International Corruption Index from 8th to 18th.
The ALP's efforts will be to restore that genuine source of information back into our Democracy. A recent rating of the world's Liberal Democracies saw Australia slide to 36th out of some 76 Nations a real loss of International face.
Peter Dutton is about to follow Trump down that fantasy filled yellow brick road declaring he's really a Working Class Hero and a Snag who loves women and children. We will in the next three years see Murdoch Media selling him to us as such. Does anyone for a single moment believe Dutton will be cheered in multicultural filled outer suburbs like Dandenong? This guy is a Liberal stop gap measure. The Party is waiting for Godot a real leader to stick their heads up above the parapet for 2nd term challenge.
As Peter Dutton addresses his decision to boycott the apology, it can be revealed he shut down reconciliation initiatives while serving as Defence minister.
