WOAH. Just one week after rejecting Clive Palmer's coal mine, Tanya Plibersek has quietly approved this Santos fracking nightmare – for the next 50+ years! To expand fracking in the region right now is spitting in the face of people just hours away in the Western Downs whose homes have just been destroyed by climate-driven bushfires.

At 4:55 pm yesterday afternoon, Tanya Plibersek approved another Santos fracking project to go ahead in Queensland’s Surat Basin. No announcement or fanfare, and only a single researcher keeping a close eye picked it up, reports Callum Foote.
