Satire

 Minimising

This isn’t The Chaser. It’s a reflection of what the ABC became during those past 13 years of the LNP and now for Peter Dutton “Lets Humanise the @#$%$#” Normalise him Fuck you very much!!

Crabb is adept at using humour not to satirise, but to minimise. It can’t be so bad if we can have a good laugh about it together over lunch, can it?

Hillsong founder Brian Houston arrives at court in Sydney on Thursday

Does this set a precedent enabling people to cover up of all number of crimes by persons who should have stepped foward and notified the police?

Despite the witness having said "He never told Brian Houston he did not want the matter reported to police."

Magistrate Gareth Christofi told Sydney’s Downing Centre local court on Thursday: “There is little doubt in my mind that the accused [Brian Houston] knew Mr Sengstock did not want the matter reported to police.

“He therefore had a reasonable excuse for not bringing the matter to the attention of police.”

This defies logic and beggars belief given the victim denied Houston's defense that he had rquested Houston not to speak up. Or has this been incorrectly or insufficiently reported here? It seems the Australian judicial system prefers to disbelieve victims in the majority of rape and child molestation cases.

Prosecutors had submitted that Brian Houston’s rationale for failing to report his father’s offending to police was not out of respect for the victim’s wishes, but out of a desire to protect the reputation of the church and his family.

This argument was rejected by the magistrate.

“Fight like hell” ... Donald Trump channelled Bill Clinton and even used the exact words of the former Democrat president.

WTF What’s going on?

In the age of Donald Trump, not even 91 criminal charges – which, remember, is 91 more than his predecessors combined – puts him out of the presidential running. On the contrary. Trump’s grand slam of criminal indictments in New York, Miami, Washington DC and now Atlanta – and all in the same calendar year – has solidified his lead in the Republican primary race. What explains the change?
