Propagandists for Israel are chosen to be characterized not as Israelis but as British and American personalities. How strange? One thing that makes them stand out is they talk rapidly and over the interviewer as a matter of urgency repeating the same repetitive tropes heard time and again.
Many viewers felt that what they saw amounted to little more than expensive disinformation. “I’m sorry, is Israel seriously airing a SOB STORY PROPAGANDA AD during the SUPER BOWL while SIMULTANEOUSLY BOMBING THE REFUGEES AT RAFAH???????” wrote one viewer on Twitter.
Nevertheless, the Super Bowl was the most-watched American telecast ever, reaching over 123 million viewers. Some say you cannot put a price on that sort of publicity, but apparently, you can, and that price is $7 million. Propaganda it might be, but in America, money talks. And both Robert Kraft and the government of Israel certainly have a lot of it to spend.

NERMEEN SHAIKH: Here in the United States, President Biden is urging the House to vote to approve a $95 billion foreign aid bill passed by the Senate Tuesday that includes $14 billion for Israel’s war on Gaza, along with $60 billion for Ukraine and $8 billion for Indo-Pacific allies like Taiwan. Troops also targeted ambulances, tents of the displaced, and bulldozed mass graves inside the hospital. The assault came hours after Israeli forces bombed a wing of the hospital, killing one patient and wounding several others. Democracy Now! reached Dr. Khaled Alserr, one of the last remaining surgeons inside Nasser Hospital, shortly before the Israeli raid as he described desperate conditions inside. “The situation here is getting worse every time and every minute,” Alserr said, describing sniper, drone and tank attacks on the hospital.

Israeli captives’ families saying gov’t not doing enough to help them
We saw quite a larger demonstration than what you usually see from the families of the captives. In fact, it happened outside Israel’s Defence Ministry in Tel Aviv. And inside that building earlier tonight, we saw a meeting with the CIA director, the Israeli prime minister and the delegation that he had sent to Cairo.
The Israeli prime minister had not allowed that delegation to go back to Cairo for a second day of meetings and negotiations with mediators. This came as a surprise to some members of the war cabinet, who were not consulted on this decision that Netanyahu had made himself.
So the families are saying that the Israeli government is simply not doing enough to help them.
