Earlier, we reported that an UNRWA truck carrying food supplies was hit by Israel’s navy. The truck was waiting to move into northern Gaza, where people are facing extreme food shortages.
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees has also shared a video showing the destruction of one of its health clinics in the north of Gaza.
“Safe and sustainable humanitarian access is urgently needed everywhere, including to the north of Gaza,” UNRWA said in a post on X.
In January, 56 percent of humanitarian aid missions planned for northern Gaza – 34 out of 61 planned missions – were denied access by Israeli authorities, the UN’s humanitarian agency OCHA says.
Earlier this week, Philippe Lazzarini the head of UNRWA, which also delivers services to Palestinian refugees in neighbouring countries, questioned whether the agency was “paying the price” for speaking out, as several of its largest donors withhold funding over allegations made by Israel that have yet to be independently investigated.
“Are we paying the price for having been vocal in drawing attention about the plight of people in Gaza, of this humanitarian disaster, unfolding on our watch?” Lazzarini was quoted as saying by
The UN created and ratified Israel in 1948 and today they call it and it's agencies Hamas. The Red Cross is Hamas, Health Organizations are Hamas. The world outside Israel even Jews are now Hamas

Confiscation of Palestinian child’s body a violation of int’l law: Organisation
Israel has confiscated the body of a 14-year-old Palestinian boy who was killed by Israeli forces near Jerusalem on Monday in the occupied West Bank, the civil society organisation Defense for Children International said.
The withholding of Wadea Shadi Sa’d Elayan’s body brings the total number of Palestinian children’s bodies confiscated by Israel to 25, according to the Defense for Children organisation.
“Palestinian children cannot rest even in death as Israeli authorities continue confiscating children’s bodies and withholding them from their families indefinitely,” the organisation’s accountability director Ayed Abu Eqtaish said in a statement.
“Israeli authorities’ practice of confiscating and withholding Palestinian bodies is a violation of international humanitarian law and international human rights law,” the organisation said.
From 2016 until now, Israel has withheld the bodies of 25 Palestinian children from their families – a practice that was approved by the Israeli supreme court in 2019 following a government order that the bodies of Palestinians alleged to have attacked Israelis be withheld from their families.
According to the organisation, 121 Palestinian children were killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank in 2023 and, so far, this year 15 children have been killed in the occupied territory by Israeli settlers and soldiers.
