Twaddle You pointed out what a fabulous guy Tony Abbott your close close friend was. You couldn't understand how it has never comes across in the media. It hasn't in some 20 years experience. You excused him for not coming on the project and how you will bring out the best of him on your show. You also let it be known how closely you followed Waleed's career. He on the other hand has never had an interest in yours. Your appearance little more than cross program advertising.
How boring and pedantic is Henderson . He's not an Abbott supporter nor a Bolt supporter obviously. Because to err is human as the saying goes. Not according to Henderson and Abbott and Bolt according to the sayin are super human.
The subject was neither a scientific treatise a declaration of political policy or a matter of contract. It was a human interest interview and casual at that. However Henderson just shows himself to be the curmudgeon he seems . Is he just a stickler when it comes to the ABC? what was he doing listening to such a leftist media? Does he have some personal grudge against Geraldine Doogue who has over the years established unquestionable credentials and reputation on both TV and radio. That can't be said of Henderson. If the man smiled he'd crack his face. I guess Murdoch men simply have no personality they are simply drones.
The left, the left is responsible for executions. The right is full of compassion. Firstly the two men are on their way to be executed at the behest of the AFP. Not for reasons of smart policing and intelligence but because a distraught father wanted to have his son stopped committing a crime. He was thanked and assured the matter would be taken care of. It was by entrapment allowing these kids to go ahead with their plan to be arrested in Indonesia with full knowledge that all 9 could have been put on death row. This whole sad episode was the gung ho heroics of an AFP with little to do, too much tostesterone and eagerness to put a publicized score on the board in the hope of catching a big fish. They failed miserably.

How stupid is Bolt where is the compassion of this government ? For political expediency it cannibalizes it's own Peter Slipper. It uses Murdoch press to destroy any possible competion from within Turnbull. Then sets an austerity package that will cause the citizenry pain. That I'm sorry to say is not compassion. That is getting the job done to repay those who don't want changes that might affect their bottom line. Those that withdraw their funds to sit idle at the expense of ordinary citizens driving unemployment up. Capital gains and interest doesn't stimulate growth. Have you seen the rise in the value of the banks since interest rates dropped. The rise in the share market and the rise in unemployment. Who is paying Labour Who is profiting Capital what's being produced not more less. Where is the compassion shown? To those profiting. So much for truisms
Test is secrecy and deviousness can it be accomplished while feigning change. The world has recognized his incompetence. The electorate has as well. 40% of his party are done with him. There will be more after the submarine lies come out. The only supporters to stay on he has is Murdoch and the Labour Party.
How much of a contradiction would it be to get rid of Section 18C having installed stricter National Security Laws preventing journalists from protecting their sources. Threatening any whistle-blowers for revealing any thing the government deems detrimental to it's National Interest not necessarily ours. People can now be jailed for speaking out but not against the vilification of race. Yes these Liberals are fighting for free speech why didn't they fight against the new National Security Laws with the same vigor?
Talk about trash nobody damns Abbott for stopping the boats. Stop lying! How much feigned theatrical anger can you produce Bolt. What a drama queen. The fact is that this country gains more respect for having a HRC than not. When a government wants as much secrecy to the degree this one does thank heaven for a degree of transparency. Bolt calls our education system, our justice system our immigration system the whole country kidnapped by the left.
Well from our perspective increased policing, increased austerity increased secrecy increased privatization all spell the opposite. It's giving up freedoms at the expense of Democracy. The country is in fact moved further right since Abbott arrived. Bolt cries for freedoms yet they are being reduced along with social services. The only increased freedoms this government offers is to corporations the freedom not to pay tax included.
If it had control of the Senate we could say farewell to the ABC,SBS simply to have them broken up sold off and what's left controlled by the likes of Murdoch so we'd be listening watching and reading more content produced by drones like Bolt. Whose egos are so large as to believe they are important and will be remembered when they are gone. Remembered for what?
I'm not sure what point if any Bolt is trying to make here other
than the obvious that climate change and the recognition of mans
involvement does require a significant change in the way we relate.
Capitalism did create more wealth and freedom for some initially it also
maintained a level of poverty and enslavement in the factories and
mines owned by capitalists. It gave birth to unions which changed the
way people related. Unions Bolt despises today.
A modern
miracle that eliminated the poverty of 1.3 billion people can be seen in
China. However the two models are regarded as opposites no yinyang or
whole, individualism vs socialism are always seen as opposites. The
concept of society had no place in Thatchers UK social service merely
interfered with the natural order. For Abbott small government and
austerity economics is much the same. However his primary task is to
control the unions and labour. Unlike Thatcher however who would have
heeded scientific discovery and who would have paid attention to man
made climate change Abbott simply wants to ignore and bury it. Why
because some degree of social responsibility is required that might
interfere with the interests of those making the maximum profits out of
the system in it's current form.
The increasing wealth gap gets
no attention in fact it's denied and not spoken of here. Climate change
is ridiculed by the likes of Murdoch media which knows where it's bread
and butter lies. The government is secretly racing to shore up the
interests of the biggest players not just in Australia but the world the
Transnational Corporations sign the TPP and throw government
regulation out the window. That wont change the economic model it will
entrench it globally. Tax payers will be the shock absorbers of
miscalculated risk forever bailing out these mega corporate tax
avoiders.
Is better that a country have no HRC at all? According to Bolt the answer would be yes. Hitler didn't Pol Pot didn't they are just in the way. The co mission's inquiry ran across 2 governments not just one. Triggs is not a political appointee Bolt as you and the PM would like everyone to believe. I presume you would like to argue the whole judicial system of this country is politically biased. You certainly wasn't arguing that when Peter Slipper was hung out to dry. Gillian Triggs is a judge she came to that position recognized by her peers for her integrity and skills.
The fact is this country's international reputation is far better off than without it. That may not however suit this government that introduced secrecy into all facets of its actions. Any perceived criticism the Commission Report provides should be valued and not attacked Morrison was hardly verbaled . Triggs was correct in noting what was implicit in the ministers reply.Abbott yet again showed us his feral nature supported by the barking of his media dogs he seemed to become his natural self which you encourage.
It actually should be noted that Tony Abbott's International standing is the lowest in the Western world. When once Australia punched above it's weight it now seems very confused with little grasp on any cohesive policies. A reputed International think tank CFR puts it down to Tony Abbott.

Labour is not against border policies at all. Stopping boats has always been a bipartisan aim of both parties. What's not the same is the secrecy that this government has employed. Whose word do we have only the governments and at their convenience if they wish. The secrecy on the conditions and health of those detained. The length of time of that detention as increased. Has any investigation into deaths injury rape assault of detainees ever been completed? As soon as a complaint is revealed it becomes a matter of investigation and just stalled in the hope it's political impact dies down.
Why if boats have been stopped. If the problems solved do we ( your word for Abbott) treat 'human beings ' so brutally. Because you refuse to see them as 'human beings'
Sorry Bolt your defense of the Abbott's the use of 'holocaust ' and it's use by others doesn't compare or stack up. Your defense is pure deflection. A holocaust of jobs refers to people holocaust of economy and environment abstract concepts that don't your defense is so lame it's embarrassing. Abbott new straight away he'd crossed the line and so did the press gallery. You are his Goebbels after all.
Bolt's ego is huge and proceeds him. He believes he's "click bait ". He happens to live in Melbourne work for Murdoch Media and is a leading commentator who seriously offends people. He moderates any opposing opinion away from his blog so as to appear to have only support. In the best of possible worlds Murdoch media is a form of pollution and should moderated Bolt little more than a form of Murdoch toxin. In fact our courts have recognised that.
To think he's thought of as the worst or best of anything shows the tickets he has on himself. Fox News draws attention O'Rielly is a tool Bolt works for Murdoch and is just another tool in the man's corporate box.
This man believes in his own importance which is in fact zip. If he wasn't here he would be forgotten. Murdoch media won't but Bolt an apparatchik of News Corp would. 'Click Bait' indeed.
