I went to Catholic boarding school because my migrant parents ran a milk bar from 6am till 11pm. Some of boys were sexually molested and abused. Some priests had a culture of sexual molestation the others of silence and cover up. Bolt nevertheless praises these institutions and even excuses them why? Because not everyone was abused not everyone suffered look I can prove it.
Bolt pours praise on these institutions where abuse was systemic. Not everyone was abused at Duntroon however there was a systemic culture of molestation there. These weren't one off occurrences. According to Bolt the institutions were just as much victims rogues as the victims themselves. Why accuse the the department of Aboriginal affairs for removing Aboriginal children from their homes if not all were removed and if not all were abused. They were removed for legitimate reasons look at the record. Just as there was no client abuse at the CBA and NAB just look at the books.
Bolt's argument is what Abbott, Morrison and Dutton apply to justify the detention centers they created like Manus and Nauru.
