Andrew Bolt's Blog 24/3/15; 49: 51 News Poll; Churnalism Murdoch's way; "Bears do it with a slap" Bolt does it with a fist; Seselja and Bolt $$ where their mouths are No!! Clive's shrinking is all pleasure for Bolt it's Schadenfreud

Why import tensions?

The source for this report is an unsourced article in guess what...yes , the Herald Sun. A 2013 RMIT report is mentioned but not really  identified so it can't be verified. Alleged tensions seem mostly felt by the new arrivals identified by White as Muslim women.

The report or should I say his reporting of it is as confusing as it is unreliable. Confusing because it fails to identify the bad guys from the good. It assumes the bad guys  are both  interested in generating fear tension and isolation as they are recruiting terrorists.  Even to a simpleton that makes no sense. Terrorist recruiters don't use intimidation to get people to join their cause.

I'm sure the confusion doesn't lie with the Minister Robin Scott. However it is  in Alex White's telling of it. Nothing is identified or substantiated it seems like something collected over a long lunch and number of drinks. It doesn't pass for journalism that's for sure.

However it suits Bolt to a tee.

"Blame on both sides of this fault line, but why are we knowingly importing tensions? How is this in the national interest?"

While Bolt doesn't seem to know what to make of it either, he uses it  to target and blame  the victims who he says were imported against the National Interest. Rumour, innuendo are tools of this mans racist charm. He's like the cop whose response the the stabbing death of the girl in the park was, "women need to be told not to go into parks alone" it's not in the National Interest.

The police have now promised to stop focusing on the victims. However we will never see Bolt doing the same.Muslim woman speaks out about attack on Sydney train, says she was targeted because of religion

This no doubt  is another case "on both sides of this fault line" Bolt actually is prepared to to stand up and say that Muslim women draw this sort of attention to themselves from from small hung bogan racists like Bolt himself. However he wouldn't do it in Fawkner. he wouldn't have the balls to go there.

Bandt accused

Bolt obviously sorts through the trash of the day what else can be said. Yet he always has time to moralise about the opposition even if he smells.

7.30 misses the story

Bolt cans his favourite media punching bag not because he watches the ABC  but because he could churnalise Chris Kenny's complaint about what wasn't on Aunty. Programing from the Bleachers 101 is obviously an essential course to be taken by Churnalists at News Corp.

Sydney Morning Herald voters are nothing like the rest of us

" Liberals should be far less spooked by SMH on-line headlines and Twitter trends. These things are as representative of voters as Gorbachev was of Russians."

If that goes for digital news as opposed "real" news why is Bolt so scared of ABC digital? If digital news is just bull shit why are political parties trying to use it as a recruiting tool like IS? If online voting trends are youth oriented it goes to show the influence the coalition has on the next generation. Little at all. A fool often lies behind a brave face.

The incredible vanishing Clive Palmer

This is Bolt using a closed fist wherever and whenever he can . He's not like a bear and rarely does he slap people on the back. It's the difference between politicians of the Abbott kind and Turnbull. Abbott wouldn't be caught dead having dinner with Palmer. Bolt and Abbott are happy to throw people anyone under  a bus to achieve their aims as they have no principles. They are are happy to lie because they really have no negotiating skills. Negotiation is never reason driven it's far more Machiavellian It's why the PMO was by invitation only. Palmer can't operate in an environment like that and we were all aware of it.  Bolt's gloating however reveals a far more sinister and Dorian Gray nature than Palmers. Bolt even looks sinister when he tries to smile. It's all Schadenfreud.

Finally a Hitler analogy that’s right: ISIS as the Fourth Reich

Funny how Bolt swings with any breeze. It wasn't too long ago that he was at pains to tell us that Nazi's and Islam were diametrical opposites when it came to ideology. one was religious the other tried to take it's strength from science and not any church. This is a perfect example of Bolt's churnalistic practise. Any thing will do if it sounds good no thought necessary.

Cruz declares

Scientists at the Center For Sanity in Politics discounted the theory that Ted Cruz is actually a zombie under the control of Tea Party coven leader Michele Bachmann. “We really believe that it is unlikely that Cruz is a zombie, despite his irrational actions and lack of higher brain function,” said Dr. Frank Black, head of research at CSP.
Speculation and rumor concerning Cruz increased last week after an event at a fundraiser in Muleshoe, Texas. Cruz was ranting about how Obamacare will end life as we know it on planet earth when, during a particularly violent gesticulation, a portion of his right index finger flew off into the crowd. Although no one in the audience noticed, the event was caught on video and quickly went viral on the Web.
Dr. Black and his team have since been analyzing the video along with other videos of speeches by the Senator. “We think that it is far more likely that Cruz is either a replicant like the others manufactured at Fox News Laboratories or possibly he is some form of genetic throwback,” Black said. “Either possibility would account for his total lack of empathy for the poor and otherwise disadvantaged citizens of this country.”
“What we find truly baffling is that this man was ever elected in the first place, but I suppose stranger things have happened,” said Black. “After all, 48% of Americans believe UFO’s are some form of alien visitation, and 41% believe we are living in the end times described in the Bible. There seems to be a bottomless well of idiocy in the United States,” Black said.
Although Cruz was unavailable for comment, an aide to the Senator stated “These rumors are ridiculous. Furthermore, the loss of Sen Cruz’ finger will in no way affect his ability to govern if elected President. He will still be able to push the nuclear button at the slightest provocation. He’ll simply use his left hand.”

Populist Labor gutted of principle. Labor reformers appalled, investors scared

Sovereign risk is also an issue now in Labor-led Victoria, with the Government tearing up a contract to build a much-needed road. Lies come easy to Bolt as far as he's concerned the deficit disaster is still on even though Tony Abbott has instructed all of his Cabinet it's over and to drop the term. Abbott's also dropped the Sovereign risk argument in Victoria since the light has been shone on who and how the East West links were drawn up. He is in discussions with Andrews on alternative infrastructure programs. The reason Bolt is hanging on to these old arguments when others have moved on he's waiting for a churnalistic opportunity to change. In the mean time he's languishing with the same old same old stale stuff.

Now desperate NSW Labor plays the China card

A few weeks back Bolt was lauding the government forced rip off experienced by a Chinese company in having bought a $40mill residence and then being forced to resell it again at major expense to them. He is now quite happy for a Chinese company to by our infrastructure Bolt's principles are at whim.

To say that privatization goals and aims are to produce better and cheaper service is an oxymoron. It hasn't occurred in Victoria or South Australia. In fact the installation of smart meters has in fact raised peoples bills $800 per annum. Where has the cost of power dropped when delivered by any  private corporation? It dropped when individual households were given the opportunity to harvest solar power and sell the excess back to the grid. What happened the corporations saw it as a threat and that advantage has all but been removed.

" The simple truth that escapes so many privatisation supporters on the non-Labor side is that privatisation is only worthwhile if it leads to greater competition in the market. If it doesn’t, it will be of little benefit to anyone bar the new private owners."

"Abbott Government’s policy of providing states with financial incentives to sell-off their assets is that presumes that private ownership is superior in all cases, rather than basing decisions on objective economic criteria, and on a case-by-case basis."

As for Martin Ferguson it should be noted the mining industry and politicians are joined at the hips no matter what their persuasion. The fact is Ferguson is now employed as a consultant for a mining corporation. It's why Bolt praises him so much. Here is a comphrehensive list of those whose lives are now dependant on mining companies

Bloated ABC helps kill yet another free-market competitor

LIE  "The ABC is also far too big - the biggest media outfit in the country - and is crushing pluralism. It is destroying private media rivals."

Murdoch Press controls 66% of the print media in the country. Truth it's running at a loss against the ABC which has 0%

The funding of the ABC is less today than the 1980s so LIE that they were given extra funding.

The Hoopla is closing but it didn't fail. For the reasons Bolt  says. The market simply failed smart women.

Wendy Harmers central point
"The online media game in Australia is evolving at dizzying speed and increasingly becoming one for players with very deep pockets – often supported by overseas media networks who are able to absorb enormous financial losses for their forays into the local market." That is not the ABC it's not overseas funded it's Murdoch to a tee.

The real answer can be found Churnalism and the complaints about Murdoch's News.com.au made by a young journalist Wil Colvin that once worked at News but went to the ABC.  Bolt seemed to have a vendetta against Wil's father Mark  an ABC presenter. Bolt turned his sight on Will recently as did Tim Blair. Was it a coincidence that he was sacked after Bolt posted Wil's blog on life at News. com ? William Colvin describes how he cheated his former employer, news.com.au.

Churnalism according to Wil is the art of rewriting and posting things for free while  buying material under licence isn't which the ABC does.

There is no doubt digital media is a competitive area and one in which public media both the ABC and SBS have to compete. It's not exclusive to anyone. ABC funds have been cut not increased and Scott specifically  made changes to increase the ABC's presence in the digital market. The ABC has to show it can survive in the market place and provide the services it's necessary to all Australia which Murdoch doesn't. It has far broader set of requirements than the free to air populist market has. The fact that it's good at what it does and has jumped the gun on Murdoch gnaws. Yes small players will fall but not because of the ABC and Harmer acknowledges that changes to their model need to be made. They pay for their original material News who uses Churnalism doesn't but they fail also because they lack integrity and  wish to lower the standards of the market to their level rather tan raise them. The have turned to politics and influence over the LNP to achieve this. It's what Bolt calls a commercial effort.

Seselja calls out the Greens on coal

How much personal investment has loud mouth Andrew Bolt have in coal? When the World's largest future funds are divesting in coal does he think he's he is doing people any favours telling them to put their hard earned savings  in coal. It's not the Greens or Labour that's turning their backs on coal it's the banks it's the stock market that is setting the price. The crime is that Abbott is pouring our money into it trying to save his mates who funded his election.  People might invest if you show them your  coal share portfolio. Has  Seselja shown how much he has invested in it? It's totally rogue financial advice.

No Liberal could survive making “jokes” that Labor makes about Pyne

Butthead Bolt celebrates Bevis Blair's name calling and abuse of anyone and everyone as much as he does Greg Sheridan's admission of lies. because he's  not t quick enough himself having been raised in the more prudent atmosphere of Dutch wowserism. All those years when colleagues thought he was  above it all he was simply trapped by shyness. The inadequate sort not the cute. It's why he never quite fitted in.   It's something you don't seem to grasp in your aloofness and why you comment from the bleachers and why your Report is stacked with like minded conservatives.

" Bears do it with a slap Bolt"It's why Albo and Pyne can laugh with each other. It's why Pyne is untouched by what you see as oh dear shock and horror. It's why you can't laugh out loud and when you do it sounds confected . You snigger at  'ditch the bitch' and thrill when Bevis calls women 'frightbats'. You really can't distinguish a good natured slang match from the real thing.

The difference Bolt, lies in the nature of the people trying to play the game. When Abbott tries there's no humour so you know it's invective. When it comes out as Dr Goebbels and not just Goebbels you know he's being the smart arse bully. When Pyne does it it's all in jest.

When you post  Blair's feeble attempts it's as if your the wanna be  who wants to join what he thinks is the  cool school. However it just turns triehard, bullish confected and nasty in your hands. We so do miss the wit and humanity of Mike Carlton

Abbott’s stunning recovery continues - 49 to 51 in Newspoll

The current volatility in the polls counts for little I'm afraid or a lot if you consider it saved Abbott's arse a few polls back. Nevertheless the Chubby Checker of spin continues to twist away." Stunning recovery" to "I knew it couldn't be true" back to "stunning recovery" He really has no spine.
