A $50bn Job Keeper bonus was thrown in for good measure while cutting Social Welfare accounts. He's guided us to the largest casualization of Labor in the nations history with inflation at 3% and wage rise of 2% declaring "real wages have gone up" The only real wages he's talking about are those squeezed by the unions which he's been trying to kill while saying he's repaired unemployment. Universities only run on 10% tenured staff. He's helped de-skill the labor force so much so he's handed it over to carpetbaggers and allowing the import of skilled and unskilled workers forcing wages down and exploitation up. Hospitality Agriculture and other sectors have no staff because the wages they offer families can't exist on. If Frydenberg is popular it's only with the right-wing of the Liberal Party and not Australians. Will this article be declared a donation to the LNP and be costed as "free advertising"?

Last month a regulatory body from the US censured and fined KPMG Australia over professional standards. The findings raise a pressing question: how widespread is this poor culture within the accounting industry?   

On September 13, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) of the US made an order that (1) censures KPMG Australia; (2) fines KPMG Australia $450,000; and (3) requires KPMG Australia to undertake remedial actions.

The board’s website explains that its mission is to oversee audits of public companies in order to protect investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative, accurate, and independent audit reports.  This body investigates and, if necessary, disciplines registered public accounting firms and their associated persons for violations of specified laws, rules, or professional standards.

So why do investors in public companies need protection from KPMG Australia?  What ghastly behaviour has attracted the ire of the Americans?

He now claims he’s able to deliver ones whose ” use-by dates” are almost up, and which both the UK and Singapore are happy to rid themselves of in a future promise for full life ones. Like all of Morrison’s promises this one is dodgy as hell too, while it’s primary objective is to polish the banged up Scott Morrison. He’s seen the polls and had a knee-jerk punt again.

PM noting that he wasn’t leaving any stone unturned – now that things are dire, it seems. “I can tell you I’ve been turning over some stones in recent times,” he remarked, boasting that this deal would allow the country to reopen sooner. The UK vaccine swap is undeniably good news, though as Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews implied in his concurrent press conference, let’s hope it doesn’t impact people’s willingness to take up the many AstraZeneca appointments available for this weekend. And, more to the point, why couldn’t Morrison – who, as it hardly bears repeating, told us for months that the vaccine rollout wasn’t a race – have tried turning over some stones before half the population was plunged into deep, dark vaccine-reliant lockdowns, which condemn the nation to another recession? It might be argued that 2013 was the model on which Trump based his challenge for the Presidency they too did away with Democracy as the ideal form of government as we knew it. Abbott's Nope Nope Nope electioneering and later the u-turn on any promises made was a sign that Democracy was being redefined to "unless the LNP were government" there was none. Trump, along with Murdoch, did much the same and today Republicans maintain Democracy doesn't exist unless they are in power. Losing any election isn't possible unless cheated or robbed.

Democracy was once a process of debating a nations needs problems and goals and negotiating the best way to achieve solutions through legislation and regulation in a bipartisan approach. Abbott was failure when compared with Gillard when in bills passed and negotiated. However, today one party has thrown bipartisan negotiating out the window with simply one goal in mind to win at all cost. Australia was theirs not multicultural and only existed if they stay in power, with media control and propaganda necessary. Which has been essentially the Murdoch mutual promise of LNP power in return for his profitable agency which no party can do without. If the ABC can be brought to heel. He's done it in the US with Fox and here with 66% plus ownership of Australian media. Couple that with the money of the 1% who control the nations traditional and corporate wealth and the LNP believes it's power is guaranteed.

Ultimately however the interests of 25 million Australians is left behind in the hands of a party that still believes in Democracy and Socialism for 1% and that's not the ALP. If it weren't for compulsory voting we'd be facing the American future that playing out today and driven by the likes of Fox News. The latest Newspoll conducted for The Australian newspaper and published on Sunday night found Mr Morrison’s approval rating had fallen from its high of 85 per cent in April 2020 to just 48 per cent in the latest survey conducted between August 4 and 7. It equates to a four-point drop in only three weeks, and is the first time the PM’s performance has fallen into net negative territory since March 2020. When translated to voting intentions, it leaves Labor leading the Coalition 53-47 on a two-party-preferred basis and the government facing its worst electoral position since the Black Saturday bushfires crisis in 2019-20.

No, these lockdowns won’t end with vaccinations.

They’ll end only when Australians grow up and take responsibility for their own health — and death.

Right now many Australians seem happy to hand their freedom to Big Government, to be returned when our politicians hit some magic target.

And so Prime Minister Scott Morrison was praised last week for promising we’d be finally free from the threat of lockdowns when he got 80 per cent of adults vaccinated.

Like maybe next year.

Morrison stressed that this target, agreed with the Premiers, was set by scientists.

Ah, science! Except this isn’t really about science but values.

We know what Bolt's values are. They are clear and patently obvious because Covid-19 isn't a social construct but it's distribution is a reflection of the community in which it finds itself. In our case and that's not an equal one and Public Health actions are an effort to counter that imbalance. Bolt's values are to keep that inequality in tact and any effort to alter it needs to be challenged. Simply put Andrew Bolt sees himself in a privileged position and wants it kept that way.  The science of the pandemic challenges that, as does the science of race, and global warming all of which demand action that requires radical change for the optimal and improved human outcome. It's no coincidence that Bolt challenges any effort to counter and deny any critical examination of the data social reality reveals. Bolt is fighting for Andrew Bolt's interests which are aligned with those he works for.

NO, PM. LOCKDOWNS WON’T END UNTIL WE GROW UP

 

I’m sure sick of one thing in this pandemic — all the 100-per-centers that it’s unleashed. From the most supposedly expert to the most tin-foil-hat conspiracy nutter, you now see a panicking mob that’s too scared to see all the greys.

Racism has no "grey areas" you are or you're not a racist not just a little and Andrew Bolt is. Global warming has no "grey areas" the planet is warming and it's man made. Only Bolt and his ilk want to confuse the issue. The Pandemic has no " grey areas" it's occurring. To talk of "grey areas" ultimately denies any universal values or the truth of the cold hard rational facts to achieve the best outcome for everyone. The distribution of the disease is a social construct and also man made.

There maybe no 100-per-centers but there are certainly those with high probability on their side and Andrew Bolt isn't one. He is a paid influencer driving misinformation for the interests of the minority 1%   far from wanting to benefit all of us. Inequality is a matter of fact in Australia and it's social, not an evolutionary construct. As such for any successful outcome to be a priority in the fight against this pandemic social change is a necessity. Without the accompanying change Covid will remain with us and luck won't be the cause of it's social and random distribution. However Andrew Bolt won't be part of the currently protected and privileged few. So yes, Public Health and social change are a danger that his seemingly exclusive privilege might be lost or watered down statistically because that of the majority will be improved. Any wide social change in that direction bothers him.
