Isn't it amazing Greg Sheridan and Andrew Bolt have posted a blog today of accusing Iran of being the most untrustworthy government on the planet. A terrorist state sponsoring global terror. Yet they are pleased to return 7000 Iranians who fled from Iran seeking asylum. Sheridan and Bolt are no doubt cheering Julie Bishop on as she visits Iran to negotiate with this pariah who can't be trusted about 7000 lives. Who are the hypocrites here?

Bolt rarely double blogs as he aslso rarely apologises if he does it's don in secret. However Bolt has taken delight in double blogging his mate Terry's link. however somehow tries to implicate News Corp's tax refund of $830 Mill won in a court appeal against the ATO as the catalyst for the current inquiry into transnationals and their possible fiscal short comings. Bolt seems to be hinting the inquiry is misconcieved and is media driven. It's not what our government thinks but you wont hear that from Bolt

What you never hear from Bolt is the political influence and donations the Liberals rely on from the Mining Industry, The Banks, The Business Council of Australia, The IPA News Corp and countless other industries. They are associations like the unions but not with the best interest of the nation at heart only their bottom line. We have seen the quality their interest recently with the the banks and how it has been allowed to be resolved. No charges laid yet systemic malpractice and fraud found. We are witnessing an inquiry into the tax minimization practices of our biggest corporations at present. We have seen insurance fraud of up 37% of clients being ripped off. If we are to add up the ledger of fraud how do you think it would stack up Mr Bolt? Millions against billions I should imagine. So Mr Bolt who owes who?

Why on earth was Josh Frydenberg telling us quite the opposite on Lateline that we are being ripped off? Why because we heavily rely on 30% company tax in Australia. Bolt obviously thinks Frydenberg's incompetatnt. Why has Tony Abbott declared the deficit crisis over and a dull budget ahead? Bolt obviously thinks Abbott has a wonderful nature but is a mug. Isn't he running the country? Mad spending he's holding the reins and the deficit is rising. Why is Business Australia telling him to stop flip flopping around and bring about some policies that inspire confidence? More to the point why isn't Bolt telling Abbott what he needs doing from the bleachers in his usual way. All he's doing is looking for third party commentators. When do Abbott and Hockey get real. If the IPA is telling us this current inquiry into is unnecessary? Why are we having it, for show?

If National Interest, Global responsibility, scientific inquiry and if the populist vote stands in the way the media is the force paid to counter the resistense. Murdoch's business model is dedicated to just that and is a platform for sale. It's Avocacy Corp and not News Corp.
Public relations tactics to counter public resistense have been pioneered for years by the tobacco companies. Science has been countered and peppered with constant doubt. The media is paid to spread it. That's Bolt's job and it's money for Murdoch. Spread the doubt.
How does Bolt do that he uses cliched data which he no longer even references because it's origins have been refuted time over for the past 20 years. All this to pretend to stop a global warming that paused 17 years ago and probably won’t hurt if it resumes.

There is nothing to indicate their political motives are the same. Sheridan knows better. Iran has made no aggressive moves in the Middle East . Sheridan knows better. When even an Israeli general admits that Iran has indicated no intention to build a nuclear device or make any aggressive moves in the region Sheidan knows better. Israel with it's intelligence would make short shift of any tendancy to nuclear weaponary but Sheridan doesn't think for a second they are as smart or as knowledgeable he is. What an idiot Bolt is he actually pays attention to boxes ticked rather than boxes not even available. So much so he decieves himself. The boxes available are Atheist Agnostic and Religion . However in most cases people do not like to tick Atheist or Agnostic so they still put Catholic or Protestant etc. However if their was an Unaffiliated box it would have the largest representation. Furthermore the younger the electorate the greater the representation of Unaffiliated there would be.
Furthermore it doesn't mean these areas aren't any less spiritual than the conservative areas it simply means younger voters are sick and tired of old rituals, ideas and politics. Politics of old parties not prepared to take into account modern ideas ideas. Parties that are reluctant to give way to the progressive ideas of a younger generation that that just might require a shift and change in old hierarchies reluctant to let go.

After all she was a director on the board of Channel10 and along with Murdoch gave him his subsidised dream of becoming Australia's Bill O'Rielly a thought bubble severely popped by the reality of Bolt's lack of authority and his total need of Murdoch team support. It instantly became worst rated show of it's kind on television and one that relies on the welfare of the Murdoch stacked board.
Basically Rinehart calls for power to be given over to Business and that government step away any regulation it's a business cost. No doubt the rapacious finance sector is eagerly smiling and nodding. The mining sector is being held back from digging up the whole country.The country relies on heavily on Company Tax and even with current regulations the big miners and foreign miners are ripping us off. Rhinehart is calling for even more possibilities. Does her call to drop regulations she calls negative also apply to those that are positive subsidies as well?
