The "crazies" of Israel it seems Eurovision won't be an International event with an International audience as the tickets aren't selling. It's only recently the right-wing Netanyahu government has declared it a Jewish State. However, it's now official, and it's a State in which Jews are to be preferentially treated. Consequently, it's not any longer, a liberal Democracy.

It probably wasn’t exactly how egg-tossing activist Amber Holt thought her hit on prime minister Scott Morrison would go down. And she may yet lose her job for her efforts.

Cotton On will hardly be affected by the sacking. Andrew Bolt does far worse than egging a PM, and he does it daily. Hardly anything can be done to him with News Corp's legal protections. He'd be calling "for her sacking" and not "the protection" of her opinion and action done privately. Yet it's the publicity given that action that will have got her sacked if it occurs.

 He did the same with Yassmin Abdel-Magied and others in varying circumstances rather than advocate for their freedom of speech rights as he does his. In the case of Amber Holt, he actually deemed her action the equivalent of the violence done in Christchurch almost tripping over himself to say it was inspired by the Greens leader Robert Di Natale while denying he had anything to do with inciting and radicalising the Australian involved in the NZ shooting. Many others actually do think he has a case to answer for that and what he's been saying and doing for more than a decade. (ODT)

That's just how self-conscious Andrew Bolt is about his lack of skills as an interviewer but comfortable as a reader of the autocue.

Bolt's little more than a poster boy like those putting up dirty posters and showing videos in Warringah. They are a donation by the Liberal Party's Advance Australia against Zali and for Tony. Except Bolt's doing it for News Corp that claims to be an independent news organisation but isn't.
Bolt claims he's not a Christian but believes in everything Christian except doubts the existence of God. Bit weird that he believes in heaven and hell but not God isn't it. Is that even possible without being hypocritical? It certainly makes one distrust him more than Shorten who believes in God but not necessarily hell which to me is a very reasonable position given it's only mentioned in the New Testament 200 years after Christ died. So no Shorten isn't a 'fake' Christian, unlike Bolt.
Bill believes in the "we" "us" "humanity" and not just the "me" or the "elect". Unlike Morrison Bolt and Abbott, there are no "chosen" or "predestined" in Shorten's book or world view humans are meant to be equal, but the majority have been systematically locked out of sharing this world by fake Christians, Muslims and Jews who do the talk but not the walk  because they believe it their privileged status. They have even adopted a fake culture to differentiate themselves. Bolt wear his fake suit more than most because he achieved his status not by merit but marriage and tries to hide his heritage.

He even raises, the retired, from the dead to make them larger than life more important than they are. It's Bolt whose been taken off the News Corp team and been given time out to go play in the sandpit with his old ghosts and enemies. What we are witnessing is relevance lost. The result he's giving importance to others in the shunting yard he's in. The forgotten Malcolm Turnbull is made the Liberal's most significant danger and enemy Julie Bishop his Lady Macbeth raised to the height of most powerful manipulators of all time again.

 It's almost as if Andrew Bolt has stolen his scripts from America and News Corp's never-ending Trump fantasy that Obama's team are out for revenge and Hilary's personal hatred is the engine still pulling strings and for Fox and Trump's benefit China the enemy. All really to make Bolt look as if he's still a player for Rupert when he really isn't and hasn't been since he lost his gig with Steve Price tried to start his own weekly podcast and failed and reduced his Sky appearance by one night a week because he wasn't really rating. Turnbull then did as he promised and left Parliament, leaving an unwinnable by-election because the Liberals only held it by a margin of 17%, so you’d hardly expect that not to be down to Turnbull’s personal following. No, that’s the explanation and we don’t need to consider changing any policies because Wentworth is out of step because they’re all well-off and not like the rest of Australia. No, we don’t need to change any policies…

THREE STRIKES - BAN TURNBULL FROM BALI

Here's the problem with Scott Morrison sending Malcolm Turnbull to a global warming conference in Indonesia. Rewarding Turnbull after his treachery in Wentworth makes Morrison looks weak. Needing Turnbull after the Liberals dumped him makes Morrison look weaker. Sending Turnbull to hype up the warming scare will make Morrison weaker still.

 That's why the commentary looks so inane. The Liberal's own polling shows they have backed the wrong horse on Climate Change. Trump and Fox might be able to con some of the 350 mill people in the US. However, 24mill here are much harder to fool particularly when the tide of Business, Investment, Technology, Health and Science have all turned against the denial of Climate Change for the simple sake of promoting the use of fossil fuels which are the horse and buggy of this Century.

and that Abbott's stocks an opportunity has risen. While trying to say in the same breathe that he's paved the way for the next generation of MPs being groomed or closer to the IPA than their electorate. Bolt is hopeful his son will be one no doubt. All this isn't really about Obama who by the way is an ex-President and entitled to say "I" since he's no longer in office. This is Bolt mimicking Fox News trying to deflect attention away from the fact that Trump uses the royal "I" and is POTUS. Bolt's really dreaming he's Don Quixote with a feather duster I'm afraid. Trump can't win any race when it comes to who the USA respects the most. Crowds well votes I think will speak for Trump's popularity in the midterms. MICHELLE GUTHRIE SACKED. BUT FOR THE WRONG REASONS

The question that needs asking is how does Andrew Bolt know the reasons why Michelle Guthrie was sacked when Guthrie herself was still pondering the reasons that remained unclear to her at the time? The one and only certainty it wasn't because she was a woman as Andrew Bolt suggested in his editorial. Bolt is sexist and we have seen him in action often enough. He was the minder to a belly dancer when the belly dancer actually was his fiance who kept him when he was unemployed. He believed he was entitled to the star billing on the Steve Price Show when that title was given to Miranda Devine. He's disparaged Julie Bishop because she was a woman and as such wasn't fit to be PM and he did the same to Julia Gillard. He even acted as an Imam when declaring he had the right to dress his 18-year-old daughter and tell her what was safe to wear in a sexist culture. Basically, Bolt acts like a patriarch.
The suggestion Bolt offered about Guthrie simply wasn't tough enough too timid and incompetent and couldn't stand up to the putch from the leftist staff below deck on the SS ABC "it' was a mutiny from the bottom up and not from the top down" despite the fact that the board and only the board had the right to sack her. A board stacked with women.
 Bolt can't even be bothered to ask Gutherie what she thought her removal was all about. Andrew Bolt rarely asks anyone for their view of things particularly women and their views on anything he generally tells them what and why things happened to them. In his personal life he's made it clear he's the only income earner as has to or is obliged to take them on holidays there is no we in Bolt's family it seems. We could list the countless number of times when he's called women liars, frightbats but when they actually get the opportunity to confront him face to face he backs down. Bolt only roars from a cultural pulpit never eyeball to eyeball as equals.
Bolt wacks the ABC for a purpose and Guthrie like other before her wasn't "promoting " Conservative thought. When statutory independence demanded  ABC be in the business of journalism examining and questioning thoughts of all sides of politics and not simply a PR agency for promoting right-wing demands as News Corp and 2GB are. Remember Tony Abbott's famous line "who side are you on " a demand that the ABC shouldn't be editorially independent and question the motives of government but only support them. Conservatives want the ABC to be more Goebellian. They should, however, question the opposition and test not support them but not the Australian elite. It's why the then PM Abbott refused to go on our National carrier because it shone a light on his motives incompetence and his arrogance which made him so unpopular. For Abbott nope nope nope had no logic other than the game of adversarial politics and the ABC brought that to light rather than mask it. It revealed their lack of interest in the passing of bills the business of government. But then Abbott had the IPA, News Corp and 2GB onside didn't he leaning like the Tower of Pisa to mask a do-nothing government?

 

GUTHRIE GONE BECAUSE DID AND DIDN'T DEFEND BIASED STAFF

ABC chairman Justin Milne hints he sacked Michelle Guthrie in part for not tackling staff bias: "A source close to him said: 'For a chairman not be involved in those discussions is arguably a ­dereliction of duty.'" But staff like Jon Faine complain she didn't defend them enough: "She would not take on her role as a champion for this organisation."

All governments don't like to be questioned but none more than the ultra-conservative Abbott government. The Statutory Independence of the ABC protected it and allowed it to carry out the duties of real journalism to gather data verify it and question the real motives of government and Opposition policies. The Liberal government of the day wanted the ABC, however, to be there's and it was echoed in the voice of Tony Abbott asking "whose side are they on?" Well, the answer is simple they are of Australia's side and question the motives of all policy groups whether government, opposition or think tanks and they put them to the test of justifying themselves to the nation. A test that PM Abbott ran from because he couldn't tolerate his authority being questioned.
 He was hiding behind the closed doors of the PMO and was even protected from his own MPs. He had a simple logic that entailed always being in opposition and ultimately doing nothing when it came to the business of passing bills. Other than obstruction the Abbott government did nothing but send the country backwards economically and culturally.
The ABC was paid to do the job of questioning and demanding everyone explain themselves was beyond authoritarians and conservatives because they were generally found out to be scamming the nation on behalf of the few. None more than Tony Abbott caught out in a lie at the Alfalfa Club with Rupert Murdoch in a fake photo shoot to boost his stocks in the Daily Telegraph. News Corp's job it seems was nothing more than constantly polishing the turd in full view of the world and Australia, The strings on Murdoch's puppet were fully visible because the ABC helped show us the reality and it was mainstream media.
When Governments constantly complain about the ABC along with right-wing media you know the ABC is doing its job and it's not fake as are MSM whose only interest is its shareholders. They aren't primarily in the business of selling News and information and but in the business of promoting the interests of its shareholders and governments that will assist in that cause. It's clear as crystal. 
Bolt spent an enormous amount of effort generating the disparagement of chairman Milne who he seems to be protecting and applauding the sacking of Gutherie for not putting journalists in their place. Union bashing "She would not take on her role as a champion for this organisation."Bolt Strange isn't it when Bolt more often than not said the same of Milne.  Now here he is saying Milne did the right thing but at the same time saying he didn't because the ABC staff collective were running the ship. It seems to me all Bolt is doing is a lot of inconsistent yabbering running two contradictory arguments while plucking evidence out of the air. What is he saying that the ABC board were doing their job? The MD Gutherie that the Union was running the ship while being attacked every which way by a conservative government a politicized News Corp and IPA  with massive budget cuts called " backroom efficiency measures". Budget cuts leaving the ABC to do what they were required to do in 2018 with less than they had in 1984.

MORRISON CELEBRATES A RACE

The Prime Minister gives into identity politics, proposing a day to celebrate one "race": "Scott Morrison has flagged a new national day for indigenous Australians in a bid to end ongoing division over Australia Day." If he thinks that concession will pacify the activists, rather than embolden them, he's in for a shock.

Bolt demand is to impose a fake narrative on an inglorious colonial past and says if that's not enforced the country will be in deeper trouble. Construction of narratives naturally come from the elite and powerful down and whose privileged position earned and deserved.

There is one thing very wrong about Andrew Bolt's proof. The ABC board sacked a managing director, not the staff and Bolt even applauded that decision. Whose side is he on? Andrew Bolt can't seem to distinguish between the freedom of individuals and the system within which they operate. The man insists on the freedom of individuals but works in a system that contractually binds them to an editorial position and prevents them from working elsewhere and contradicting Murdochian opinion. The ABC actually supports the freedom of their staff to vote as they please but be constrained by the ethics of their jobs. Diversity is encouraged in the ABC when it's not elsewhere. Bolt's Blog is a PAYWALL to News Corp. Abbott flies in the face of Science and declared his instincts are better than facts and simply declares Science to be a religion. Bolt agrees yes these two have both declared Climate Science to be little more than a religion. On what basis? Abbott on intuition and Bolt on any straw he can clutch to back him. In fact, Abbott once declared himself a sceptic totally redefining the meaning of the term which better describes the rigid methodology of scientists rather than at best his agnosticism which really requires doing nothing or at worst ripping the funding off scientists and trying to formulate laws like Trump to even have data published. 

Abbott is desperate and has shown just how much he is by declaring a reversal to agreements he signed and committed Australia to in Paris. He's even turned Socialist advocating governments take over the ownership of utilities he assisted in selling.

Bolt takes up Trump language to justify breaking trust " The argument against this dumb deal - it's useless and painful, and does not bind the world's top three emitters to cuts - remains regardless of who makes it." The real outcome of trust is totally unimportant. Apparently, the damning history of the worlds broken agreements needs to be rewritten to put all those that broke them in good stead. Hitler broke agreements wanting to put Germany first and a fine man he was. Apparently, Abbott had his fingers crossed and Bolt saw because he was behind him.

Here is the lie "and when the planet doesn't warm as predicted." it's never been about just warming over a 100 year period it's been about the rate of warming that's threatening because reversal is even a more difficult process. Bolt's rhetoric doesn't alter the fact that the rate of warming has accelerated this century. Doesn't anybody get sick of Bolt and his meaningless statements? "In fact, it contains a get-out class for all signatories:" WTF does this mean? Science is a tide and when all combined peer-reviewed research agrees in the direction in which we are progressing suffice it to say the probability is better than intuition.  Even Bolt checks the weather reports listens to his doctors and doesn't call them religious fruitcakes.

No mention here of Abbott's loyalty statements they too apparently don't matter any more so what does? The theory it seems is just keeping talking never stop and let fate do the rest. That's why Abbott was running this country into the ground and wants to continue to do so.

Can you get more simplistic exaggerations an lies than this wrapped into a single paragraph? The letting in of immigrants over the past 10 years Australia has let in tens of millions over the past 75 years. America has done the same as having any number of countries and the Bolt's are an example of that.
What boats is Europe turning back? Not the one Bolt called Europe's Tampa the one that docked in Malta the one Bolt failed to tell us he was wrong on. Guess Australia was too late for letting Chinese, Aghanis,  Indians and Islanders in the 1900s that ones whose families took up citizenship and unlike Bolt, not dual citizenship. The ones who are committed to staying and don't dream like Bolt of going home to Holland. By the way, the Danes unlike Australia aren't stealing children nor are removing them from their families to de-culturalise them as the good Christian Australians did to our indigenous people.
