How can News Corp allow Bolt to continuously  state  factless information over and over again. How can they support this ignoramus who seems to know nothing about Climate Change or any other substantive subject . Bolt repeats facts refuted 25 year ago. Facts no longer accepted by 97% of  respected science professionals today working in the field. The rate of warming has been confirmed. All of Bolt's warming denials can generally be traced back to the wackos like Roy Spencer, Patrick Moore and others who are no longer researchers  but simply professional deniers.

Dr Karl is far far more educated and knowledgeable than Bolt and in far more fields.  His credibilty when measured against Bolt's is off the richter scale. Can anybody  imagine Bolt offering expert advice on anything. His LNP advocacy show  The Bolt Report  only rates 60k and would be a loss for channel 10 if it weren't paid for by Murdoch. 

Bolt is so obsessed with following the Republican Tea Party line against Obama he'd rather support Putin than Obama in trying to stop any deal going ahead with Iran. He's not simply a fanatic an extremist but he's devoid of facts.

Bolt who brags about how close he is to Abbott and the Libs but hasn't a clue  who employed Dr karl or why he was employed.  Anybody as close as Bolt says  he is could just pick up the phone. He  doesn't know whether or not Nuttal has been appointed to the PMO ,yet he talks with pride about his knowledge of it's  workings , the secrets of this inner sanctum.  The forgiven leaker and Abbott's personal loyalty. The legal side of the debate

It's certainly not Rachel Hocking's legal advise that precludes Andrew Bolt from saying anything. It's the legal advice of News Corp's lawyers. Who from past experience know Bolt is capable of  'fucking up'.

Rachel Hocking's writing defines her as an extremely sensitive, astute and intelligent woman who has a lot to offer us. Her sensitivity is expressed by what comes across as con fused guilt not brought on by her aboriginality but by the fact of the attention paid to it by others. She is a realist  and recognizes that discrimination comes in many forms  and the impact on her while  slight is sometimes much greater on others. She sees the pluses of positive discrimination an the necessary advantages it offers as a counterbalance to the long term systemic negative discrimination of  the past and present.

What benefit would Rachel get meeting Bolt? His insistence he is not a racist because he upholds the same idealized view of how things ought to be. Great they agree. Bolt would get more from a meeting with Rachel than the other way round. they'd certainly disagree about history and the state of things as they are now for the majority of people. It's certainly reflected in the stats however  their explanations might just differ. Bolt blaming culture Rachel the overbearing differential in powerlessness. 

As I said Bolt would gain from any such meeting far more than Rachel. I'm sure she has met far more Bolt's on her journey than he has Rachels. Yes Bolt is a financial risk and News corp puppet.

Yesterday there was his outcry in the defence of Chloe and children. Today children are just an aside in his stat rant on Homicide. The conversation is Domestic Violence not Homicide in general. I'm not about to give you the floor to snidely make use of stats for a racist slap.

The ABC is out of control: yesterday’s examples

If your not seen cheering for Abbott you must be against him. That might be PR or Advocacy 101 but it's certainly not journalism. It's what Bolt claims the ABC is or ought to be as it's government funded. It might be funded by our taxes however it's ours and not the government's it's independent of it.

The ABC is there to ask the hard questions of our leaders. It's there to ask on our behalf is the government doing it's job. Is it doing it well or not. When judged on it's charter it's doing  just what we have always asked of it no matter who is in power. It applies the same approach to all aspects of enquiry. 

Bolt's works for Murdoch's News Corp whose sole interest is to publish for profit or power in it's own interests and certainly not for us.  Growth and media dominance is it's goal as then it can align itself with or be essential to the business and political class of the day. It's where the money is.  It's business. Orwellian control is the Murdoch goal.

As for Professor James Alan how did he get appointed to campus? According to Bolt only lefties exist at universities and the ABC. How did all those ex Murdochians become part of the ABC did they simply go from blue to red overnight?

Warming at last to a debate

Link ABC September 2013 extremely old. As a mudsling it would seem nothing would stick.

It's as bad as using Roy Spencer and Patrick Moore to try to deny climate change. They are such old hat. However there is some allusion to a cruise of sorts in the title. What needs to be pointed out is that cruise liners are one of the biggest polluters of the atmosphere there is and there are 1000's plying the waves as I write.  Currently they are doing untold damage to the health of residents in Sydney who live in and around where they dock. They  run on the filthiest fossil fuel known to man. If that's only one side of the  cruise story  what's the other?
