Dead coral can't survive in waters polluted by dredging, oil spills caused by accident or levels of acidity caused by increasing levels of CO2. $200mill per year for 10 years has little hope of fixing a global issue. Only a joint global effort to reduce Carbon levels can do that and Australia refuses to participate while putting the reef at extra risk by the development of Abbott's Point.
Yes Bolt is a true dropkick flopping about drowning in a cesspool of his own making. He even suggests on the basis of the Philippine experience reported by Greenpeace all's well with the Barrier Reef because the coral will grow back. They really did break the mold after Bolt

Bolt's picture was taken after the event does anybody believe in the truth of his photo. Centerlink is saving $$$ some 13 million phonecalls went unanswered. The pity is that France UK and USA bombed the shit out of Libya got rid of Gadaffi and created a power vacuum that has lead to civil war. With that war came the desperation of families trying to escape the carnage and turmoil fertile ground for people smugglers.
What's a problem for Italy today was initiated by France and the UK and now France is turning it's back on an otherwise EU problem. It goes to show the fragility of the EU when it comes to social issues as well as economic ones as seen with Greece and Spain. Illegal immigration has been a problem in Europe for decades it's only recently become a problem for Bolt why?
Bolt however is always looking for those singular events to prove the reasoning behind our in-humanitarian stance on the refugee problem that dominates the world today and not only Australia. However we are noted for the unique way we have tackled it. This time among some 200,000 boat people one alleged terrorist has been found. A threat of gargantuan proportions in Bolt's otherwise imaginary crimeless Europe. He does the same here crime and violence on the streets of Melbourne are of no concern to him unless committed by a Muslim. Worse still a refugee Muslim and even worse in Dandenong.

Here is Andrew Bolt trying to imitate Tim Blair to dress his pathetic I'm the victim posturing as humour. He's just so bad at funny it's sad. Malcolm Turnbull should never have gone in Bolt's Report because it doesn't matter what he said Bolt will twist and misrepresent it to gain mileage . However he says it so often that no one remembers what happened and Bolt sees that as traction.
Turnbull referred to' styles of interviewing ' after Bolt selected Sales and Alberici out of many ABC interviewers for aggressive therefore according to him biased interviewing. Turnbull merely talked of journalistic styles and made no reference at all to gender. That was all Bolt's doing and he's been stirring it up ever since. Bolt and Blair the Bevis and Butthead of the Murdoch stable just love to bait women and see how long it takes them to bite back. I'm not making it up they have declared it publicly

How Stupid is Bolt does the LNP represent Corporate Australia and the members of the IPA, The Business, Council of Australia, and all it's donor associations? of course it does. Does the Labour party represent the 12.5% of workers who happen to be members of unions of course it does and a lot more to boot. Does the ALP wish to represent members of Womens Groups of course it does. It's why this country has the standard of living it has today. The standard the LNP wish to destroy in their drive to push wages down to insure the profits of some 2% of this country not share them.

He is stirring up Isomophobia not for the purpose of correcting the workings of the immigration department but for trying to revolutionize the policies immigration entirely. His aim is to put a stop to multiculturalism altogether. Anti- Islam simply covered a number of issues such Asylum Seekers, Dandenong, pro Palestine and his sexist preferences all under one banner. The conversation he's talking about is not just closer vetting of immigrants which nobody disagrees with but the wholesale banning of people on the basis of the colour and faith. "Crackdown" and "Damage" are the terms Bolt uses as opposed to improved assessment procedures. There is a huge difference in intent. How can a racist be smeared? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck and not just a "smeared" duck.

You won't hear this from Bolt
Religious Leaders aren't hypocrites. When Christians use Bombers & Drones to drop their payloads on Muslims indiscriminately and declare errors as collateral damage. When Christians pay Muslim mercenaries to try to overthrow governments for them. We know Afghanistan's Charlie's war has never ended. Religious leaders on all sides become aware that it's better to keep quiet and not provoke situations. Why because they know this is not only a religious war and unlike Andrew Bolt who wants to frame it as primarily that rather than what it really is a complex civil war. Bolt actually assists IS and their propaganda machine . He agrees and supports everything they put out. He makes this war seem a holy crusade rather than the political struggle which it in fact is and call out Christian leaders for not being more active. This political struggle was always there under the surface and released by Christians like Bush and Blair on ousting Saddam from Iraq and later Gadaffi from Libya.
Why is it mainstream media only reports this battle from one perspective that being the the government one. We went in to liberate countries from tyrants that kept the peace in secular states by force. However constantly a political thorn in our sides. They happened coincidentally to be oil rich states which we also wanted to have better control of. How is it in these states women and children were being educated had access to health programs and weren't starving which since our interference has all been lost. Millions of families have been displaced and are living in refugee camps or trying to escape the war to Europe through Libya. Bolt never asks who is supplying the arms in whose interest is it to promote this business? How is it so many are made in the USA? His position that god is on our side and that our church leaders need the backbone to say so seems a call to provoke the situation rather diffuse it. Why in the name of humanity do his editors allow him to preach this right wing nonsense? Because they are a right wing paper and profit is it's business. Newscorp profits.
When winning we celebrate our victories when losing only a loud silence. Abbott has chosen silence our troops failed and failed abysmally in Ramadi Iraq. Tony Abbott wants to "arrest, prosecute, and jail" Hello there seems to be no presumption of innocence in that wording. That's what he said. "executed" instead of "arrested" would have been harder. These are Australian kids he's talking about.

So Bolt's posturing of faux fear is just another anti- Australian Muslim cheap shot. He'd be the first cheering if they were our 18 year old Christian soldiers marching off to war.
Abbott and Obama know if they put troops on the ground in any of these regions they'd have blood on their hands and would have to face an anti-war movement here. Any political advantage gained would easily become disadvantage for both of them. The coalition have a long and failed history in interfering in these sorts of civil wars in other peoples countries. There has never been a military solution.

Maybe rather it's because there is consensus among 97% of peer -reviewed climate science researchers and that man made greenhouse gasses are having a serious effect on Climate Change, that 143 countries have agreed to do something about it. Maybe it's because labour has taken the world's majority position on the issue rather than the contrarian one that currently is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to simply confuse it. The contrarian view is simply the loudest because they are the most desparate and spending the most money being financed by the fossil fuel interests like the Koch Bros.
