With the LNP 47: 53 in the polls and Abbott making his usual series of gaffes in the past 2 weeks the the second budget honeymoon is well and truly over. The fact that the Council sees fit not to do nothing about the unethical practises of 9000 of it's members is as questionable as anything found over the years in the unions. If you take into account the systemic corruption of the Financial Services Banks, Stocks, Insurance and Financial Advice and ask how much it costs the community which political party they support, who in turn supports them and who pays for the billions lost annually to them union corruption is just chump change. Two polls show movement to Labor, but no movement in others

POLLS

There have been four polls released this week. The Ipsos and Morgan polls both showed a substantial increase in the Labor vote share, but Newspoll and Essential have not supported this trend to Labor. Here is this week’s poll table. Note that Morgan leans to Labor by about one point, while Ipsos leans to the Coalition by a similar margin. The last Ipsos was the 50-50 tie following the budget, while the other polls are weekly or fortnightly.

This will be Newspoll’s last poll in its current form; it will be replaced with a robopoll run by Galaxy in July. Possibly owing to staff shortages, Newspoll took five days to conduct a poll that they normally do in three days.
