As far as I'm concerned this is an unsourced blog with no references available. Given Bolts attempt to be an extremely poor TV lawyer like Perry Mason you couldn't trust him for anything.
Is it any surprise that Shell with it's destructive record of pollution in Nigeria and other parts of Africa who are now mining the arctic are supporting the Government along with Rio Tinto whose record in Soth America is equally as bad. However let it be pointed out the Adani Mine and the Government didn't fail in the High Court because of any Native Title Claim it failed purely because Minister Hunt failed to do his job correctly. Bolt yet again just distorts the facts in an attempt to make them appear "breathtaking" when they plain and simply not.

Dyson Heydon has declared himself of being lax careless and forgetfull the ACTU was certainly not alone in pointing this out and Heydon agreed. Bolt overlooks this inconvenient truth. Everything else is irrelevant including Bolt's enthusiastic News Corp letter writers who definitely aren't hypothetical let alone reasonable.

Andrew Bolt simply refutes history or it's internalised meaning to each of us because it to would then differentiates us.

Yet Bolt who describes himself as the son of Dutch immigrants differeniates himself because he's internalised some of his parents history and feels different because of it nevertheless Bolt disallows Pearson the opportunity to do the same and whose historic roots go back 200 years.
Pearson openly says he is anti-race yet Bolt insists he is. Just that dialogue and interaction alone shows Bolt's inability to accept , listen to or hear what Pearson is telling him. what it is Pearson means and what is ignored and brushed aside by Bolt goes to the very nature of racism and it's on Bolt's shoulders not Pearsons
Furthermore Bolt insists Pearson is asking for some special rights that at present they don't have. It's true but Bolt doesn't elaborate that. Pearson isn't or doesn't seem to be demanding any special rights other than being listened to. Which he suggests would eliminate what racism does exist now. 200 hundred years of administration hasn't worked.
Bolt actually makes a token concession to history which he rarely makes but an impotent concession that has no reason to explain todays circumstances because as he says he's more indigenous than Pearson " In fact, I’ll repeat it here: there were Aborigines in Australia before white settlement." So What!!
One guarantee the longer Bolt's blogs are the greater the distortion , deflection, and cut and paste meandering of confused thought to tell us " Yes, green groups really do want to destroy the pillars of our industrialisation."
From Stopping the the Adani Mine to the whole Australian Coal Export Boom the Greens are to blame. Hasn't Bolt heard of China India or the rest of the world? The price of coal is so low that there's a glut. That there seems only room left for the biggest and established players. When the banks are divesting from coal because their analysts tell them to who will put up the money? Is it the role of government to speculate ? This government abandoned the car industry not the Greens for the reason that they are not a private service. So if the role of government isn't there to subsidize cars why is it there for coal. Since when in Bolt's mind has the role of government been banking when so long ago he said it wasn't nor is it there to build ships? The greens are now running the country according to Bolt the Government is impotent.
This history of deindustrialization started at the hands of globalization not the Greens when large companies fled offshore for cheap labour. Does Bolt think that's not going to happen in every other industry and country. Name any industry that won't or can't be restructured because of labour costs. Apparently Bolt knows nothing of this and he puts it all down to the Greens. Australians really ask why are we subsidizing a new mine to the tune of $40 billion for 1450 jobs when our everyday economy generates 4500 jobs every week?Waleed

The only reason Mehajir made it to Bolt's attention is because he's Muslim. Yes we do know money can buy you justice and Mehajir spent the money. Bolt would have been of some use had he published Mehajir's lawyers name Ramy Qutami he seems very good. If it had been any number of wealthy white Christians who escape these summary offences on a daily basis but you don't hear a peep from Bolt.
What we have here is that according to the rules

I know of someone that was reversed into at 2kmph only to face a tradie threatening to kill in total road rage he claimed he'd been run into. Out of sheer fear the victim drove off. Two hours later the police fronted the victim at his house and found no damage had been done to either vehicle. However the victim was charged with 7 offences on the tradie's statement, including dangerous driving and using his car as a weapon. He lost his licence for 6mnths and suffered a lawyers bill of $4000
Nobody says the laws perfect my friend suffered at the hands of it. However it's what we have and it's better than News Corp's selective vigilante justice.

How many hundreds of millions have been spent for political show? News Corp labels it the "Terror Net" has caught....nobody. Yes 7 suspects with over the limit amounts of cash were caught.
Bolt spins this from "Dutton says 350 have been stopped" He didn't however say how many were arrested or if they were allowed to fly later. One might assume they were because there certainly was no media chatter.
So 350 have been inconvenienced and harassed yet some how Bolt doesn't begin to suggest security over reach or wasted costs no he simply blames it on the left. The AFP must be infiltrated by the left because they haven't arrested anybody to date it would seem. Bolt's eratic jumps in logic from some facts to conclusions like "it's all the fault of the left " makes him a candidate for an involuntary treatment order. News Corp simply has no standards.

Lets hear from someone who is more qualified than Andrew Bolt to speak on Israel and Jerusalem. The ABC presents a number of views not only the one Bolt insists on.
Criticizing Israel is not anti-Semitic. My uncle was kicked to death on the street. My father hid in an attic for 18 months and my mother is on the wall of the righteous. Her brother was a member of the Nazi Party. Rabbinical Law says I'm not Jewish Hitler said I was. I was brought up Catholic but culturally a foot in two camps. It qualifies me for nothing other than Andrew Bolt's history and mine are significantly different

When the pot calls the kettle black. Andrew Bolt is by all significant standards the single most offencive commentator not journalist in Australia. The most offencive and humourless of the News Corp stable. He's been convicted in our courts of racial vilification and sued for defamation numerous times. Has Clementine Ford? It just goes to show the standards on which News Corp Culture operates to sell it's papers and it does the same internationally. Once there were Tabloids that printed bare breasted ladies on page three in order to increase circulation. Now they simply employ Andrew Bolt who peddles filth to attract conservative punters.
Mark Latham "resigned" which is no "demise" but then Bolt does speak ill of those with which he can't compete when it comes to writing. Bolt being an extreme conservative would never resign. He'd lack the confidence to and it takes a level of courage ne doesn't have. He is umbilicaly attached to News Corp. He sometimes makes out he's not and fantasises he and Rupert are ever so close but only in print. In reality Bolt would never dare call him anything other than "Sir" and kow tow. He might be a prized chimp or chump in Murdoch's zoo but if he left or was fired he'd have little place to go other than to another right wing enclave like News Corp of which there are none.
So by declaring the media world outside his Murdoch hive as all leftist is a bit like Hey Hey it's Saturday's Dicky Knee sticking his head up over the fence line trying attract attention. Bolt says News Corp operates from a higher standard of culture than any of the other opposition news services and that it's not sexist. Well that's easily answered his attack on Clemetine Ford as sexist is typical of what he and Tim Bevis Blair do as a pair. It's simply 2 pots calling a kettle black.
