Andrew Bolt's Blog,13/8/15; Bomb the bastards only after you towed them back from Europe; Race Factor in the USA is Clinton's winning;Turmoil in the Murdoch hive; Bolt's biased Columns; Lib Fundraiser invite the former head of the Royal Commission into unions to speak to speak;

On 2GB tonight - Labor smears the royal commissioner. Tomorrow: on Studio 10

What a moron Bolt is . The Liberal Party smeared the royal commissioner by not revealing it was a fund raiser. The commissioner failed himself by trusting people in the Liberal Party. The Labour Party had little or nothing to do with any of it other than comment on the inappropriate actions taken by the association of those investigating  Union activity.

Which Greece is real? Could Fairfax explain?

Pure Schadenfreude on the part of Andrew Bolt. Why not only does Bolt get pleasure from this report but pleases him even further. Not only should the Syrian asylum seekers be returned to Syria but Bolt is thrilled by the fact that Australia just might get the opportunity to bomb and kill them and declare them collateral damage or remain silent on this operational matter. Whatever Bolt couldn't be more thrilled.

Why are the people of Kos so hostile to these would be refugees? Maybe because they under equivalent pressure and Europe has turned it's backs on them when it was asked to help. The Europeans have simply guaranteed to strip them of their dignity yet expect them to take care of their immigration problem as well. Somehow Andrew Bolt sees this as  a simple problem that Abbott solved with ease.Greece’s biggest creditor Germany has made a huge profit on the country’s debt crisis over the last 5 years

Europe holds dear the tenets of tolerance, freedom, and human rights – except when it comes to migrants.

Ban Nick Kyrgios

The advocate of free speech asks " He should at least be banned for a tournament or two. Might even save what’s left of the public’s respect - if there’s any left at all."

Bolt hates rule breakers however he doesn't seem to understand the nature of the industry that these exceptions, these rule breakers draw the crowds and along with the heroes ensure the future of the game. Like Bolt we ask why is Bolt allowed to retain his job when he's such a disservice to the news industry? However he's not there to provide news he's there to sell papers and  insure that a failing print industry doesn't fail any further. The question whether Kyrgios or Bolt are good for the game or the media is of no concern but are they good for business is more relevant. Bolt's opinion is as he is a waste of time.

"He should at least be banned for a tournament or two. Might even save what’s left of the public’s respect - if there’s any left at all."

Bolt could just as well apply this to himself except for the notion of any public respect left.

Blair pleads with Labour: do not make Jeremy Corbyn leader

Link the Telegraph But more to the point the IPA.

Blair, the born again Christian helped bring about the circumstance we see in the Middle East today. He Bush, Cheney,Rumsfeld and John Howard gave rise to al Qaeda and ISIS. His moral decline and personal ambition saw him destroy his relationship with even with Rupert Murdoch. His personal attack on Corbyn offers no solutions let alone directions for the rebirth of the Labour Party. One thing that is insured is this analysis promoted by the IPA serves only the interests of the minority and not the whole of the UK.

Scrap this fundraiser now. Why let Labor and crooked unions off the hook?

Link SMH and Tony Burke Bolt agrees it's where he get's the news.

" I don’t doubt Heydon’s integrity for a second. But I do think this is a stupid way to help Labor to discredit his commission."Bolt

The current day Libs were never really noted for their intelligence were they. They do have a PMO's office and a stack of advisers but just keep kicking own goals.

To make things worse it now does seem like a calculated own goal as well. Wasn't the PMO informed or did they think this up?

"In a written statement a spokesman said: “If there was any possibility that the event could be described as a Liberal Party event he will be unable to give the address, at least whilst he is in the position of Royal Commissioner”."

and

" An invitation written on a Liberal Party letterhead obtained by Fairfax Media says the $80 cost should be made to the Liberal Party of Australia’s NSW division. It also calls for donations if people are unable to attend."

How can Bolt personally guarantee Heydon's integrity and expect us to believe him with his track record. It just gets funnier by the moment.

Tony Smith needs to borrow Bronwyn Bishop’s stick

Link News Corp's Paywall

Tony Smith wasn't Tony Abbott's preferred choice however he is the party room's choice. Watch the shellacking the News Corp Drones  give him for not being the captain's pick. Bolt will try to tell us Bishop's history breaking run was fair and balanced and Tony Smith is a waste of space. Who needs enemies??

The incredible sinking Clinton

Bolt is a frightbat I think that's his and Tim Blair's  term for what he's doing here. Bolt's taking a narrow stat from a sample of 440 people and a narrow  Cut & Paste from an attention seeking article which Bolt fails to tell us  also says

" Clinton is still viewed overwhelmingly by voters as the likely Democratic nominee, but the results suggest she faces an unexpectedly difficult fight to prevent an embarrassing opening loss in the first-in-the-nation primary."

Take a look below and ask yourself why has Clinton 85% support among the American black community? That's a stat that Bolt in fact tried to hide in his "Race Factor Blog" below. I've actually printed the total graphic. He's a Golum when it comes to news.

" It's just one poll—the polling average still favors Clinton by a lot in the Granite State and nationally."MJ     However it's great either way

If one then all: the confirmation bias of the tribalist Age

Isn't it strange that the Republican debate could well have been  the Australian Liberals. There wasn't a woman amongst them up on stage. Bolt the supporter of individual thinking  has joined the chorus of conservatives who put Trump  there in the first place. News Corp had Trump on Fox News 31 times leading up to the debate why? Because he was good for business paid and increased their ratings. They built him up. Then put him center stage to tear him down. However it back fired and Fox were declared vilifiers  by both their supporting Republicans and Fox visitors.

Maybe it's why Murdoch is tweeting and asking for more balanced reporting. Bolt believes good conservatives are  those that remain so from the cradle to the grave. You  can't be an individual thinker and change sides. Bolt once worked for the ALP so what exactly does that actually say of make him?

Selection of Australian newspapers.

News Corp has been forced to apologise over an article about Labor frontbencher Tony Burke's expenses.
The article published last week on their popular site, news.com.au, alleged that Mr Burke misused his ministerial office to grant travel privileges to former staffer Skye Laris.
The article detailed the Labor frontbenchers six-day trip to Europe in 2009 which cost the taxpayer $48,951.
The trip included first-class flights for Ms Laris, who is now Mr Burke's partner.
'News.com.au acknowledges that any such allegation is false and apologises to Mr Burke and Ms Laris for the hurt and embarrassment caused by the article,' they said in a statement.

Assange dodges justice

Link News Corp's digital churnalists reporters not required.

Justice was never seen to be done as far as Assange is concerned.

"Swedish authorities have now confirmed that next week three of the four charges against him will reach their five-year expiry date under Sweden’s statute of limitations and Assange will be automatically cleared."

Swedish authorities since day one reversed all the initial findings in the case without satisfactory explanation and to the rest of the world seemed to be bowing to  pressures from the USA only. Swedish justice suffered badly in the handling of this affair.

Turnbull provides the distraction he denounces

Link News Corp's  Paywall

I believe Rupert Murdoch requested fair and balance reporting by is hive. Is this why the Australian drones seem so confused in their commentaries today. However not so Bolt who believes for the moment cultural issues such as marriage equality and and ISIS are far more important than the economy and jobs to the everyday life of  Australians. Bolt needless to say encourages talking about issues that will become incidental and a forgotten buzz in the lead up to the election is much preferred now than shining the light on the truth now. Turnbull is not going to challenge Abbott on marriage equality and everybody knows that.

Time to step it up

Link News Corp's Herald Sun. Link News Corp's paywall

How embarrassing the 'the death cult' is far more technologically in advance of one of the worlds  most leading security organizations ASIO and the AFP on whom Tony Abbott has heaped more of our taxes than ever before. Again Andrew Bolt takes as gospel anything ISIS says but takes with a grain of salt what most Australians say. The scare is being staged and framed by Abbott for political reasons.

Now that his poll ratings are on the way down it's time to step up the fear ratings. Once again Bolt is doing just that and promoting IS as he always has doing what they want. Here we have Bolt telling the Eurpeans to send the Syrian asylum seekers back to Syria while telling us "international community was “ignoring the suffering of innocent Syrians.’’

so

" “The time has come for Australia to join the military coalition seeking to destroy Daesh (IS) in Syria,’’ Mr Tehan writes in an opinion piece in the Herald Sun."

and we can go in and bomb the crapper out of the place. Bolt also let's it be known another beheading has occurred while rarely mentioning how our allies the the Saudis and Irani's are executing more than are ISIS . This is why Bolt isn't a news mans arse wipe. Australia against Isis: how much do we actually know?

â€˜Australian jets are spending thousands of hours in the air, yet we are only given pretty pictures of them in action.’

Isis, Hamas, Haiti and the Catholic church: on the use of ‘death cults’

Death Cult

All of this is just PR for Abbott. The bombing of Syria will not only create some increased collateral damage but also exacerbate the refugee crisis in Europe Which Bolt just soooo concerned about.

The race factor

Link Washington Post

It's not a coincidence that Bolt doesn't show the total survey of the race factor making out that black racism is a major factor in the US presidential election. His point is unclear. What is clear Hilary Clinton is on over 80% and the Republicans aren't in the race. Politics and not colour is the biggest factor here Bolt being non racist should be applauding that and not trying to hide it.

Savva vs Sheridan

Link News Corp Paywall   All Murdoch hive

So there's bickering within the Murdoch hive I bet it's less hysterical than that which goes on when Bolt feels slighted. Savva sees Abbott's win as Pyrrhic "What they also know is that important as it is, this debate has meant almost another week, after many, many such weeks, has passed without serious discussion of the economy, or tax or jobs or growth."Abbott  has ducked the issue of the the economy and jobs growth for over two months and the electorate is aware of it. Yet again we are told that this issue of culture is the most important.

Sheridan is like Bolt saying that despite the mismanagement and obvious domestic and international screw ups, despite the crash in the polls this pugilistic black knight with no arms no legs left is an "outstanding success". How's that for an apologist a mate but a non objective analyst. Chris Kenny while not a mate is no surprise he's as big a blind supporter as Bolt.

"If he ignored the majority view as Turnbull insists he would be acting the autocrat and risking a deep split in the party."

No what Abbott did ignore the was the the core principle of individual conscience within the Liberal Party itself. No matter whether he's providing the electorate a $100 mill opportunity or not he's running the Liberal Party like an autocrat. It's the tyrant within the family pretending to be the opposite when past the front gate. This issue will hang around like the bad smell for a very long time.  Abbott believes that there are more Australians against a multicultural Australia than we'd like to believe.

So Abbott is generously spending $100mill+ telling us our democratic system doesn't work and is inappropriate on this issue. He is acting the opposite of a representative democracy being an autocrat within his own party by not allowing MPs to publicly declare their position. Should they cross the floor they'd be kicked out of the party. Well done!!!

Column - Abbott keeps Coalition together in same-sex marriage victory

Link Unsourced News Corp paywall straight from Murdoch's hive

The Party that has since Menzie's claimed their central distinguishing principle to be allowing individuals to stand up and vote on conscience doesn't exist. Rather if an individual crosses the party line he will be kicked out. The Liberals are more of a collective than their Labour opposition and everything was conducted behind closed doors.

Malcolm Turnbull didn't kow tow to the party line and warned of the danger of taking this issue to the next election and beyond. That it needed to be dealt with as quickly as possible. In fact he warned that it would weaken Abbott's position rather than strengthen it. Abbott once again showed his distaste for the separation of Religion and State the principle on which this country is based. Abbott actually seems to see himself as the Calif of Australia.

Column - Hiroshima was destroyed by Japan’s war, not one weapon

Link Unsourced News Corp Paywall A Murdoch hive commentary

Bolt loves use of hyperbole.  When and if it will make him seem the Yoda of our  media age.  Japanese history doesn't teach school children that the US was the aggressor. Nor does US or Australian history teach our children that we were the evil doers in the war against Japan. However we do remind ourselves of the terrible consequences modern technology can bring to warfare. That's a reality tale rather than a tale of legend and heroics that Bolt seems to prefer.
