Andrew Bolt's Blog,10/4/16; There is no such thing as concervative change even cancer grows; Bolt snatches far more than $110k and is unproductive; If Turnbull says something worthwhile blame the interviewer; Truth vs Bolt propaganda; Throwing grenades at the moderates that Bolt calls a "faction"

Column - Beating Shorten should not be this hard

Another promotion telling us to VOTE LABOR unless we bring Abbott back everbody but Abbott are fools. The end result the electorate will decide. However Bolt isn't speaking to the electorate. He is talking to the Liberal Party and trying to create panic. He's done next to nothing about focusing on the Labor Party. It's all about poor Tony who was not allowed to have is chance and why did the party treat him so unfairly.  Abbott's the man the man who for 28 seconds will never be forgotten and I agree as does the world does a great great comedian. There is something Yeltsin about Tony Abbott when it comes to the media.

Column - The baaing of our artists

Bolt wants some of the most economically successful  Comedy Festival's in the world shut down be cause the world laughs at Abbott and his 28 seconds of silence on TV. That's his notion of responsible conservative change needed a Department of Jokes to be submitted for approval not by a government but by the conservative branch of the Liberal Party.

"HOW boring to chat politics with a gaggle of Australian writers or comedians. Baa baa, they’d say.
Baa baa, they’d joke. Baa baa, they’d argue.
This astonishing same-same of our artist class is clear from their three latest gatherings, all backed by taxpayers."

These Festivals are regarded as among the best in the world and extremely profitable for Melbourne and Adelaide they make people laugh and provide jobs. Has Bolt ever mentioned the world's best conservative comedy festivals? In Paraguay or Nth Korea perhaps? Abbott was good he verged on slapstick and never teamed up with Costello.

A truth: Bolt posts items that say 10pm. However they appear and are often posted at 9.30pm or even earlier as if he works late and has a great work ethic. It seems even that is crap. He moderates his comments to the positive which he denies. My point

Day to Day Politics: I have never seen them so angry. The nutters I mean. – » The Australian Independent Media Network

Why Abbott must not shut up

Bolt  abuses Peter Reith and would Amanda Vanstone without hesitation but he won't tell Michael Kroger to shut his face when he told Abbott to pull his head in and shut up and go away!! Bolt said absolutely nothing about Michael Kroger President of the Vic Branch of the Party, why? He needs Kroger. Besides Kroger looks good on his CV. Anyway here we have another Ad and Ad for Rowan Dean's Spectraitor media mag. What did Abbott say about the media? "Why doesn't it support the government?" Well there has been a major drift brought about by Rupert Murdoch from journalism that in the main attempted to find out the truth to one that merely delivers propaganda,  part of a business model that wants to control all forms of media in the country. There is really no comment by Bolt  because it's simply and Ad

However Neil Brown who the electorate has already forgotten  is having a whinge about the Liberals one that Bolt usually has "As views other than the official ones are unacceptable, what is also unacceptable is that you should be allowed to express them…" What a load of cock the official views are conservative they are the IPA wish list. So in what world does Brown find himself the victim of free speech denial?  Is it Pedophilia , hate,  or pornography delivered to children that he's defending? No he's supporting the right of factions in the Liberal Party factions he criticized and opposed  in the ALP " a separate strain of opinion from the mush that passes for policy in the Liberal party today and consequently must be stopped and silenced, not by logic, but by ridicule and abuse…" He's criticizing Michael Kroger for telling Abbott to pull his head in but doesn't name him.

Abbott didn't win and election that Labor lost he just happened to be the drover's dog who won leadership of a divided party by a vote and took it to being the most disliked government since Bill McMahon's. The great party Brown talks of took us to all the wars since WW2  which we have lost and seem to be continuing to do . The ALP got us out of them. The Great party"In a similar vein, in the last 30 years, there have been 10 occasions when the tax to GDP ratio has been below 22.0 per cent of GDP and all 10 were under a Labor Government. To put simply, the Howard government was a high taxer, while the current Labor Government is a lower taxer."

"In terms of government spending, there have been only five years in the four decades leading up to 2012-13 when real government spending was cut in real terms. None of those cuts were delivered by a Coalition government. All five times that there has been a cut in real government spending have been when a Labor government has framed and delivered the budget. There were three years during the Hawke government in the late 1980s where government spending was cut in real terms and there have been two occasions in the current Labor administration where such cuts have occurred."

Kevin Rudd came back because the electorate called him back when Julia Gillard  lost . His popularity was in the electorate Abbott's isn't in either the party or the electorates. She  left with dignity and let the Party get on with the business of governing not criticizing and subverting the leadership he lost to. Abbott has nothing more to say other than what the IPA already has. He does have a promise however to keep one he made to Rupert Murdoch.

Who let them in?

Given 50% of Australians have a migrant connection to Australia it's  surprising Bolt could only find one crime committed and one one and one in which migrants were victims. Bolt however is a serial whinger on how rotten life in this country is because of the migrant intake we have and it's multicultural nature. Remember the Ts Woolworths stopped selling "If you don't like it  get out" they could all be sent to Andrew  Bolt. I'm sure Bolt and his children are dual passport holders.  However I'm just as certain his kids  don't hate Australia however Bolt the defamer, vilifier, and interminable complainer does  on a vast list of issues and his focus of  attention is only on migrants. He's incessantly us how bad we  really are. He should leave.

If Bolt cared to check the records of crimes committed over the past week over 90 % would have been non migrant connected but the same might not be said of the victims. Furthermore the majority of those crimes committed by persons under 30 years old. These are reported crimes unreported crimes were also taking place on just as large a scale in and among the wealthier suburbs of Melbourne. So why is Bolt's attention so obviously selective and anti-migrant? It's not it's specifically anti-Muslim and anti the cultures and countries where it's the predominant religion.

Bolt stereotypes people and profiles them according to religion. Just as Protestants did Catholics pre the 1960s when it was said you couldn't trust the loyalty of Catholics. The problem back then  was compounded by the working class Catholic history which was very much part of the country but not part of monarchist the ruling class. Muslims are predominately non monarchist and working class. Furthermore it's easier to stereotype Muslims not only as being anti-conservative and pro-Labor but as criminal, complicated and culturally different to us in every way.  They are the most politically useful tool to divide the country politically. Muslims didn't start the Cronulla riots Bolt's conservative bogan bigotry did. It isn't natural it's totally manufactured which is worse it's Gobellian. After all his parents were migrants and even Bolt admits to not being a natural Aussie.

ISIS supporter attacks former soldier

A prisoner has been charged " Bourhan Hraichie has now been charged with causing grevious bodily harm with intent and intentionally choking a person." Is there anything in the charge that suggests Bolt's banner carries any weight? Even Bolt throws in a lot of "potentially" , "allegedly" to protect himself from defamation. His banner seems confident but then dissolves and begins to vaporize. Bolt and his lawyers seem uncertain of his accusation which is quite common for Andrew Bolt when he opens his mouth

Turnbull forces rebuffed by Tasmanian Liberals

Bolt's analysis of the preselection in McKellar (below) is so biased in what Bolt has omitted it's a joke. He fails totally in disclosing that Villatora has only 10-15 votes and is in fact failing. So given Bolt's biased reporting why would anybody in their right mind trust the man on his report on Tas? Other than Erica was always going to get top spot.

Which leaves Villatora

Bolt goes back to the birth of Jason Falinski in order to discredit him in the pre selection battle for Bronwyn Bishop's seat. He  argues further down that Conservatives are the the only ones that can bring about real change.  However in the same breathe here if a Liberal changes his perspective over15 years they are flippant and not to be trusted. Sounds two faced to me and what he's saying is real consevative change is no change "which leaves Villatora. However real change would be seen if Dick Smith ran for the seat and all these people Bolt is huffing and puffing about  are left for dust. Huffing and puffing yes if it weren't for his hatred of Photios why "Liberal powerbroker Michael Photios is back, accused of defying Tony Abbott" you just can't be caught doing that Michael disagreeing with the wrecker Abbott.

How is it Bolt doesn't seem to mind or mention that Bishop got the nod for "The presence of almost her entire electorate office on the preselectors list has angered some local Liberals hoping for generational change."

Even when it comes to the hard facts Bolt ducks reality "On one estimate she has about 35 votes, with main rival Jason Falinski about 40. Another challenger Walter Villatora, who has the backing of former prime minister Tony Abbott and the hard right, is believed to have about 10-15 votes." Tony's and Bolt's dog seems to have 3 legs only. Neither Abbott or your hate won't get Villatora over the line Andrew Bolt

You wouldn’t think we had a huge deficit

Bolt's right we don't why is he screaming doom and gloom. "Yet more big spending from this desperate Turnbull Government:"Bolt has an absurd notion of desperation I wonder why that is?

The truth separated from Bolt's propaganda shows "In a similar vein, in the last 30 years, there have been 10 occasions when the tax to GDP ratio has been below 22.0 per cent of GDP and all 10 were under a Labor Government.

The difference between being a conservative and a reactionary

The difference is whether to be a functionary and constantly promote regressive change  or be a visionary and promote progressive change. Bolt is just playing with words suggesting that changes made to stabilize what already exists is real change. Constant band-aid adjustments  do constitute change and may well be Conservative but they certainly doesn't constitute real change or real innovation. Even cancer changes but doesn't disappear in the process and we know the end result of that.  Einstein explained madness. It is doing the same thing over and over even altering it slightly each time and expecting a different result.

The war on drugs can never be won by better policing no matter what adjustments are made because it's a profitable business. Decriminalizing and legalizing drugs will have a far better outcome. Proof Portugal, Switzerland, Holland, the USA. Decriminalization takes the "dark money" out of the equation. Systemic change is real and it's not Conservative. Germany made it a legal obligation for for trade unions to sit on the boards of all it's companies. It became the most progressive industrial nation on the planet.  We want to prevent union influence altogether.  We are fast falling behind to the vagaries of India and China rather protecting sunset industries instead of promoting innovation and sunrise enterprise. Bolt still doesn't have his first car does he?

60 Minutes has some explaining to do

" So who exactly had $100,000 to pay for child snatchers?" Notice how Bolt has no interest in the children. That would be too hard. Too much reporter like research  needed to do that. It's easier and lazier to do a  one line pls explain on Ch 9. This is definitely Bolt at work doing  his own blog and not his troll space filling for him. This is high quality commentary by Bolt.   A banner, a paste, and "this is astonishing"!! Bolt gets paid more than $100,000 to snatch this sort of information. The Herald Sun is hemorrhaging money and Bolt is subsidized for this. Yes there is a please explain needed.

Memo to Turnbull: cut this waffle and cut it hard

If Turnbull does well Bolt blames the interviewer. " It’s true that in one interview on Sky News last Sunday and in one press conference that Malcolm Turnbull did start to hit his lines. But Samantha Maiden may have given him too much credit for staying power:" Bolt But don't expect to press Bolt's link and read anything but an Ad for subs to the Herald Sun.

It amuses me that Bolt believes the repetitive and never ending sloganeering of Tony Abbott about past events and his 28 minutes of incompetent silence was so riveting. So much so Andrew Bolt stopped talking about him all together other than writing a constant list of how Abbott must change. Out daily embarrassments Bolt turned his focus on Bill Shorten to spare commenting on  Abbott's own goals. Now he's left Shorten alone and gone for the jugular on Turnbull and if he has undeniably done well he blames the interviewer rather than praise Turnbul. Heavens above if he did Bolt might choke.
