Let's see the mountain made of this mole hill of a scandal  posted by  Bolt. Firstly this was first published by the the BBC 3 months ago Bolt is making it seem like breaking news. Secondly there has been  a deficit  of $250 mill  small change when you consider Tony Abbott's MXT plan for the NBN runs into  losses by the billions leaving us to start again. The Victorian Liberals foisted  an expense on us 3 times that size by signing contracts 2 months before an election they knew they were going to lose. Nth Ireland isn't going to be bankrupted as Bolt makes out nor is that aim of the scheme unsound. Some greedy applicants simply saw it as an opportunity to scam some money which no doubt the will be made to pay back with penalties. One needs to ask why is Bolt conflating a mismanagement of a  scheme with Global Warming Science which necessitates we do something. As if such mismanagement of a program is sufficient to stop all green management schemes globally. The GFC was the the result of unregulated practices of the Wall st bankers. It impacted the world American public was forced to bail out the banks. In fact the world bailed out the banks and to date only 1 Wall st  banker went to jail. Was the American  and world banking industry closed down? No it continues to move forward unregulated as it did before and has achieved unheard of profits again. However the American public is still paying for their mistake. 

The world felt the impact and is still suffering Greece was a perfect example of a country being conned and blamed but not the banks. Iceland was sent to the wall but bailed out the people and wrote off their debt rather than the banks and jailed it's bankers. It is the one country  in Europe with a  thriving again.

I fail to understand why bad management of an Irish program calls for the crying out to stop  a global  industry and science as important as clean energy. After all  Bolt employed in News Corp a failing print media corporation that has been hemorrhaging money for years . It's projections for a successful future are low should the world's print media be called to close  because of News Corp's errors?

Bolt claims "the argument is not whether recognition is a legal step closer to sovereignty but a logical and emotional step. Legally it is not, but logically and emotionally it clearly is - not least because it is in the nature of a grievance industry to always move the goal posts."

Bolt was told in no uncertain terms that he was an ignorant when it comes to Constitutional Law by a female, Fijian,Indian, Australian Constitutional Lawyer on the ABC program Recognition Yes or No He was told he was naive by the ex Conservative PM of NZ James Bolger on the same show. So he has backed away from arguing the legalities of the matter and has turned to what he calls the emotional and illogical platform. His logical claim it seems is based on the premise that he too is  an indigenous Australian simply because history actually commenced when he was born. I'll let you be the judge of the consequences of that Philosophical solipsism where history is abandoned to whatever the individual wants to make it. Bolt declares himself to be the master of all his surroundings and even it seems beyond the universe in fact.  He is emotionally attached to country as much as and even more so than most Indigenous Australians simply because he's older and his emotional attachment if not recognized will be a form of apartheid.
What Bolt is really saying recognition is a threat to his current privileged state which is maintained by his view of the world. However  Constitution currently allows laws to be passed according to Race which in the main are a form of Apartheid and they have been enacted on which he simply ignores. Recognition of first peoples in settler nations seems to be as frightening to Andrew Bolt as was once the eclipse of the sun was to flat earthers. Australia today is the only Commonwealth Country that doesn't have such recognition and treaties with it's first peoples. Canada, NZ, even the USA have this recognition and haven't sunk into an abyss or experienced the accompanying Armageddon that Andrew Bolt threatens will happen. So unless Andrew Bolt can explain why we need to be the exception to this universal process of recognition he stands alone as the emotional and illogical screwball freaked out in a land where apartheid is still the practice and was still legally so until the 1960s.  Any attempt to reverse it is called reverse racism any breach a restriction of the freedom of speech. 
Let's remind us of a time when Andrew Bolt was a self admitted Dutchman only attached to Australia by the fact of birth no attachment to country whatsoever. He admitted he only became Australian after his marriage  and was introduced like a migrant by his father in law. So basically Andrew Bolt  yes he is Australian but no he wasn't one  for 30 years of his life. Was he struck down like the Apostle Paul or has he just found another gig? He seems to make up the facts to justify his position his status his position of privilege and little else.
