1) The treaty was signed by the then Howard government 10 years ago and it needs to be ratified. Abbott was a minister in that government.
2) Bolt simply makes a statement about 99.9% of Chinese found guilty in a "rigged" court system. He called the Australian court system as "rigged" when he was convicted too. He has pointed to the left bias of the legal system and the judges on so many times I don't have to list them
4) Is Bolt suggesting this was never considered by the Liberal Party previously and the conservatives like Abbott have only just considered it in all it's consequences?
5) This seems more a political set up than any genuine concern about extradition and it's not a set up by the Chinese.
6) The US has the highest % of the incarcerated persons in the world and we can freely read just how corrupt their privatized system is. Bolt has no qualms about any extradition order with the USA despite the fact that it's openly corrupt.
7) Watch Bolt's body language and how hard he's trying to appear honest almost whispering a secret for you to hear and nobody else. He sounds worse than any used car salesman I've ever met. He's pitching not reporting and pitching for your ears only. The man is such a pathetic con artist.

Politicians don’t normally have a handle on the latest science at the best of times, whether they are on the left or the right of the spectrum. If you’re a Conservative the chances are you won’t give a damn about what any scientist says – with some exceptions.

As for the argument that water has to be pumped "up" rather than collected to pump "down" as is the case with Hydro schemes Bolt produces no evidence that's even the case.
Bolt hasn't any interest in an extradition agreement between Aus and China he has an enormous interest however if it can negatively impact on Malcolm Turnbull. Why because his 99.9% actually refers to 0.01% of 1.2 billion people. Australia has 0.15% of it's citizens jailed. If he was seriously concerned he'd be arguing against any agreement with the USA which has 25% of the worlds imprisoned population most for the crime of poverty. He talks of respecting sovereignty as a principle but is happy to illegally cross into other countries and bomb them without any public declaration of war. Had this occurred under Abbott's watch Bolt would be hailing Tony's choice but it's under Malcolm's. If Abbott told Bolt to shut up Bolt would ask "for how long Tony?" " An implied threat by Beijing to stop co-operating with Canberra on basic matters of law enforcement has incensed some Liberals."

HANSON SURRENDERS ON PENALTY RATES
The only political leader to vigorously
back the cuts to Sunday penalty rates for hospitality and retail workers

WHY SHOULD TAXPAYERS FUND A TURNBULL CHEER SQUAD?
The US Studies Centre has already
blown $40m of taxpayers' money, and now wants $15m more from the
Turnbull Government. It may have earned it, having employed Malcolm
Turnbull's son-in-law, made Turnbull's wife chair, spread fake news
about Tony Abbott, allegedly toned down criticism of the Government and
now knifed Tom Switzer, a Turnbull critic.
