Andrew Bolt's Blog, 1/7/17; Is Bolt running News Corp's PR for Pell; Conservatives have our Immigration Policy confused;

We could speculate on Bolt's rare absence
1) He's been sent to do another PR performance for George at the Vatican which to me is the most likely.
2) He's been charged with attempted GBH for his Carlton performance and his call to other  conservatives to do the same. Which to me is indicative of inciting acts of terrorism from his followers.
3) He's had further vilification complaints made to the  AHRC and they are investigating their validity.
Unfortunately my guess he's off to Rome to yet again waste News Corp's time and money on polishing a very tarnished Catholic.

 Stolen Generation, Child Molestation, Denial & Cover-up, DLP, Tony Abbott,

Letting Catholic priests into Australia was a mistake | The Monthly

 "Just look at the numbers. There are around 80,000 Lebanese Muslims in Australia. Of these, 22 have been charged with terrorism offences, or around one in 3600. There are around 3000 Catholic priests in Australia, plus a few hundred retirees. Of these, an astonishing one in 20 has been charged with child sexual abuse offences. And according to the best academic experts, the true number of offenders is around one in 15."

 Are we witnessing a reverse duck? | The Monthly

 There’s a sneaking suspicion that what we’re seeing is the reverse duck: plenty of movement on the surface, but absolutely nothing going on underneath.

Yes, Tony Abbott really does think he can be PM again

And if it doesn't work? "He doesn't care if he doesn't make a comeback," suggests a minister loyal to Turnbull, "so long as he makes sure of Malcolm's fall in the process." It'd certainly be a satisfying consolation prize for the humiliated former prime minister.
A Labor frontbencher, in awe at the wilfulness of Abbott's blatantly self-interested destructiveness, asks: "Is this how we looked?" The answer, as onlookers know, is yes.
