Do I understand the media's latest anti-Trump meme correctly? The president denounced all violent protesters at Charlottesville when the media wants him to denounce only the violence of the far Right?

Yes, Bolt's lie is expected  from Trump's apologist down under. Trump didn't denounce "all violence". He turned a specific event into an abstract reality and ideal unrelated to the event in Charlottesville. If he had truly been honest the US would been withdrawn from the Middle East. No Trump was avoiding being specific about Charlottesville about the fact that real Nazis and KKKs a trying to imprint their dystopian reality onto a majority of Americans. He avoided to comment altogether by turning it into a neutered abstraction . Largely because the Nazis KKK and Right Wing Nationalists were largely his supporters, they were  Trumpsters who celebrated murder the killing event and Andrew Bolt is celebrating it in disguise for him as well.

The multicultural nation was a reality and not theirs alone. Whatever Trump did or didn't say Bolt hasn't mentioned that the killer pictured below was a card carrying member of the Republican Party. Why hasn't Bolt mentioned that?  Because right wing hypocrisy is natural to Bolt as it is to Trump and would go a long way to explain Bolt's idiotic post  coupled with his duty to Murdoch's News Corp  the trumpster voice in America.

White nationalist and neo-Nazi hate website The Daily Stormer openly celebrated the murder of counter-protester Heather Heyer during the violent August 12 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA, calling her a “slob” and a “burden on society” with “no value.” The website previously praised Trump’s response to the rally.
Heyer, a 32-year-old who, according to her mother, was “determined to stand up to injustice,” was murdered when a car plowed through counterprotesters at the rally. At least 19 others were injured. According to The New York Times, the driver of the car was “charged with second-degree murder” and stood alongside white nationalist groups during the rally. One of the driver's former teachers has said that he was a Nazi sympathizer with "white supremacist views" and "a big idolatry of Adolf Hitler."
President Donald Trump received widespread criticism for condemning “violence on many sides” in the wake of the incident rather than immediately denouncing white supremacy. An unnamed spokesperson has since issued a statement to reporters condemning “white supremacists,” though The New York Times reported that “it was not attributed directly to Mr. Trump.” The Daily Stormer, however, lauded President Trump’s comments, saying that “he didn’t attack us” and gave “no condemnation at all.” The Daily Stormer, designated a neo-Nazi hate site by the Southern Poverty Law Center, has long been a fan of President Trump, having said that a vote for him would be a vote “for the one man who actually represents our interests” and having praised his hiring of Steve Bannon.
In his August 13 article, Daily Stormer founder Andrew Anglin asserted that “most people are glad [Heyer] is dead, as she is the definition of uselessness.” He also called the victim an “overweight slob with no children” and praised the driver of the car as a “hardcore player” with a “cool demeanor” who “didn’t give a fuck.”

THESE BULLIES WON'T STOP AFTER THEY'VE WON

Parents have seen this kind of stuff before. They’ve seen a toddler screaming because they want a lolly. And, sure, we dads and mums would like them to have it, but not like this. It breeds bullies. But bullies are exactly what we’re breeding now with the same-sex marriage debate. And what comes next if we give in?

 It might not be the old school heterosexual  poofter bashing of old as was seen when the police murdered a gay academic in Adelaide. Those were the days when real men went out on the hunt on Saturday nights in Bolt's home town. But it's Identity politics and crass verbal bashing nevertheless at Australians who don't just want a toy. Those that were raised to believe as Australians we were all equal but to be told by Bolt "your not" if you raise your voice. This what you can expect from Andrew Bolt before the postal vote. He tells Aborigines they are equal and that he's one too but they have only themselves to blame for their dysfunctions and repeating that here to gays. You're equal if only you become like Bolt. The very meaning of "equality" becomes a  perversion when it's uttered by Andrew Bolt. The lack of the diversity in perspectives determines there is no debate and never will be out of the mouths of right wing Christian fascism in a country where 66% of the population don't even declare themselves Christian.

The Greens’ reaction to Andrew Forrest’s video of children being bashed shows how deadly stupid we’ve been made by identity politics. No wonder Forrest, the mining magnate,  calls the Greens the “party of

It's a bit as gross as the scene in America of the Christian driving his car into a group at a rally. Julia Baird pointed out that Christians are as violent as non-Christians didn't she. Bolt could have quite as easily have shown a video of child sexual abuse by a wealthy pedophile but he didn't. The selection of what to present and encourage others to generalize from says more about Bolt's intent than it does the video itself. Because we know far more about Bolt than we do about the man in the video.

 Child abuse and white slavery is a wide spread problem in Bolt's Christian Australia as seen by the overworked Child Protection Agencies that exist in the country. They admit they are only scratching the surface because the problem is not isolated to just particular groups and it's known to be a symptom of far greater systemic issues than the narrow focus and understanding Bolt wants to place on it. Bolt is the example of the blinkered lack of understanding and wants to understand when searching for explanations by just looking at single cases and then just stereotyping.

If Bolt was really interested in Children and their protection his whole attitude to asylum seekers would be significantly different. As would his attitude to children being sold to upstanding Christians for sexual gratification men who by no means are just drunk and poor. That Andrew Bolt is an industry that uses poverty but goes way beyond it.

NOW BARNABY JOYCE MAY BE A KIWI

It just gets crazier: "Malcolm Turnbull’s majority government is under threat after the shocking revelation that Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce may be a dual citizen of New Zealand... [He] said he was shocked to learn [from the New Zealand High Commission] last week that he could be a citizen of New Zealand by descent via his father." 

What are the odds that Bolt and his kids are dual citizens which would make him prioritize about being Dutch first before being Australian? Why because he often said he felt that way. Go through Bolt's house and see just how many truly Australian Cultural artifacts he actually has compared with how many non-Australian possessions he keeps close. Bolt has said that he is even unaware that he has an accent. If there were questions with regard Andrew Bolt and Joyce  as to who is more Australian and Bolt was the judge who would he choose?

The royal commission into child sexual abuse today said priests should be punished if someone taking confession admits to child abuse and the priest doesn't tell police. Catholic Archbishop Denis Hart says no priest can break  confidentiality - and doing so will hurt children by making abusers less likely to admit anything even to their priest.

Seems to me the church states the Separation of powers is a must. The ultimate hypocrisy of the Church was when it sold guarantees to heaven to the guilty rich. The priests could even dictate donations as a penance. However it never stopped the Inquisition getting whatever secrets they needed whether anybody confessed or not.

It's self evident that in countries where the cofessional is a common practice the bloodiest crimes are seen to be committed Italy, Mexico, the Philipines etc Hindus and Buddists counties less so. The confessional allows sinners to be forgiven. There is a saying among travellers it was always more risky in Catholic countries than any other. Bishop Hart is selling a lie the only people safer in Catholic countries with the practise of confession are the least moral and the least moral were to be found from the top down. It's a very profitable business selling the keys to the pearly gates via the confessional..
